A tool to encrypt and decrypt emails that can also be useful for general access management
I rate the initial setup process of Intercede MyID an eight on a scale of one to ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy. The solution was deployed throughout the whole organization, meaning the solution was rolled out in my company, and that's it. The solution was deployed in a couple of days. Two people were required for the solution's deployment and maintenance phases.

Unified sign-in has simplified access control and has supported end-to-end identity lifecycle
The authentication process is good, but sometimes the responsiveness to requests for enhancement is very slow. I sometimes face issues with platform stability, flexibility in configuration, and limited API availability. I experience downtimes two to three times per year. OneLogin's support team is sometimes very slow to respond. There is a feature limitation with mapping, as OneLogin does not provide one-to-all mapping. For client deployment, we need to create separate mappings for each request, and we cannot use the same mapping for multiple requests. Other areas that have room for improvement are related to API limitations. If a client requires more APIs, such as 5,000 or 6,000, OneLogin charges more. The API rate limits by default or the standard limit should provide more than 5,000. Additionally, OneLogin could provide more flexibility in configuration. These are the main limitations I have identified with OneLogin.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The feature for signing documents is important to me."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is the access management."
"My impression of OneLogin providing a seamless end-user experience for signing in and authenticating is positive because I never had any issues or glitches."
"OneLogin's best features are the whole package, which includes the combination of the integration with Active Directory, user provisioning, and the graphical user interface."
"OneLogin offers a simplified solution that gives users a one-time login for multiple applications, which significantly improves user experience."
"OneLogin is efficient."
"My advice to other people who are considering using OneLogin is that they really should use it because it is a very complete tool."
"Ease of integration with AD."
"OneLogin has positively impacted the organization by improving security, simplifying access management, and reducing password-related support issues."
"Overall, OneLogin has had a very positive impact on our organization, improving both efficiency and security across our systems by significantly reducing login-related issues such as password resets or account lockouts, reducing the workload on our IT support team, and enabling employees to access the tools they need much faster, which has improved overall productivity."

Cons

"Reporting features would be a good addition to Intercede MyID, as it is one of the areas where the solution lacks."
"I'm not sure whether the solution has a mobile version or mobile dashboard, but that would be nice."
"Customer support is also good, but it is slow."
"OneLogin can be improved by making the initial setup and configuration process simpler, especially for teams like mine that are new to identity and access management."
"Based on my experience, improvements needed for OneLogin include better granular policy controls and more advanced analytics for authentication activity, which would be especially useful for larger enterprise environments."
"Overall, OneLogin is solid, but we can implement some improvements with Active Directory connectors."
"OneLogin by One Identity is strong, but there is room to improve."
"The tool must be made more robust."
"OneLogin is a strong platform overall, but the reporting and advanced configuration options could be more intuitive; some administrative tasks and policies configuration have a learning curve for new users, and improving the user interface and providing more detailed built-in reporting would make management more efficient."
"OneLogin's reporting and dashboard customization could be more flexible, and troubleshooting federation or integration issues can sometimes take more effort than expected."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the product's pricing a seven on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"It was cheap in the beginning, and then it became very expensive. We were initially charged $2 per user per month, which was fine, but by the second year, they increased it to $5 per user. That became very expensive for us because we had about 1,500 users. At $2 per user, it comes out to be $3,000 a month, which is $36,000 a year. If we move to $5 per user, it comes out to be $7,500 a month. That made its cost so high. That is why we removed the product because the cost was high."
"The pricing for OneLogin seems to be okay. The pricing and licensing are affordable. If you'd consider OneLogin to be expensive, it's worth it."
"We were happy with the price we got when we signed up, but I don't know what will happen when the time comes to renew because it is a different company now. We haven't seen any pricing models or had that discussion yet. My renewal is a year and a half away. It's worth what we're paying for it. There's no way we could provide the level of service for cheaper or try to do the same in-house."
"The price of the licensing is fine."
"OneLogin's pricing, from the perspective of the education sector, seems quite reasonable for the value it delivers."
"While I wish OneLogin's pricing was more affordable, their licensing model, which is based on per user, is acceptable."
"The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It is much cheaper than other products."
"Surprisingly expensive given the price of on-premise solutions."
