Patch management and integration capabilities drive effective endpoint response management
We work with Kaspersky and two modalities: the Censi final and Censi license. Most of our clients work in financial areas and industry. Our regular enterprise business relies on these solutions Kaspersky is viable with ADR; the Endpoint Detection response feature and the BitLocker management…

Automatic update feature could be better and multi-layered protection capability needs enhancement
The platform's ability to update the database from my device and manage user profiles is quite effective. It also provides web threat protection by blocking unwanted websites. It provides multi-layered protection. Although it could be more efficient, it is sufficient for regular purposes. I would not recommend it based on my experience. I rate it a three out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"My impression of the stability of this solution is good. We have not had any issues with stability."
"The solution provides high-end security that is critical for financial institutions and bankers."
"Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"Version 14.0 comes with an SQL database, which gives great flexibility on control, reviewing logs, and viewing history."
"The most valuable feature of Kaspersky EDR is its simplicity. The console is easy to use and not very complex."
"The pricing is decent."
"We have a central console and from there you can monitor all workstations via an agent."
"This is a feature-rich product."
"The most valuable component of the solution is the malware detection feature."
"The product works perfectly to prevent malware in our organization."
"In Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, anti-phishing and anti-malware are two very powerful aspects."
"The platform's ability to update the database from my device and manage user profiles is quite effective."
"Kaspersky has a Cloud Discovery feature. There is no template in Kaspersky. They provide a temporary risk assessment of the cloud services. For example, if we want to block public storage services like OneDrive or Google Drive, we need to specify each individually. The main difference is that Kaspersky's process takes more time because it requires individual input."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is a very good solution for endpoint protection."
"In terms of software performance, it has been effective in providing good security."
"I find the EDR service valuable as it adds extra protection and provides a centralized view."

Cons

"I would like better integration with other products."
"Kaspersky needs to strengthen its standing in the market."
"Installing Kaspersky is complex. It requires more work from system admins and takes almost one week to deploy, including integration and mapping with other solutions. You also have to configure Kaspersky EDR sandboxing then set up permissions for various teams and customers."
"I would say that Kaspersky is not too big in the cloud-related area."
"If a customer wants to use Kaspersky on-prem, they'll need to spend a lot on the hardware. Their server must be strong because EDR is a heavy product. You need excellent hardware to run it. It might make sense to deploy the solution in the cloud. If they add features, it will only make the product heavier and increase the hardware costs."
"The solution lacks DLP."
"There's room for improvement in customer service and support. The response time when I open a ticket or communicate with the vendor could be faster."
"The prices can go down a little bit."
"Its high CPU usage also slows down devices, particularly those with lower specifications like Core i3."
"One area where the product could be improved is in its delivery and installation process."
"Kaspersky's cloud solution should be improved because the on-premises features are unavailable in the cloud."
"It requires specific expertise or certified professionals to deploy the product. There is a need to expand the offerings to various industries covering different-sized businesses."
"While the product provides a good level of protection, we need better support, especially in terms of being kept informed about new threats and specific configurations needed."
"Certain shortcomings in the anti-ransomware part of the solution need improvement. XDR and MDR, along with threat hunting, a big step in cybersecurity today, need improvement."
"Kaspersky doesn't provide local support."
"Kaspersky's global ranking has been on the decline."
