The solution provides the ability to backup all types of cloud drives, is inexpensive, and has decent support
MSP360 Backup provides the backup functionality, but we need to provide the storage component. We can use Azure, AWS, or another provider, but we need to choose the storage provider and create a bucket to store our data. The vendor is making changes to improve the functionality of the service and the separation of storage, but I would like to see more integration and a knowledge base of the tool. Currently trying to understand why the storage is separated and how to implement the storage properly is a challenge. Using the solution incurs additional charges for the device storage and backup which are not included in the service. Unlike other solutions such as Kohl which includes everything at one price. MSP360 Backup can be improved by adding inclusive pricing.

One of the cheapest products that also provides prompt support
It is fine if users want to use the product for a general purpose. If they want something with more options, they should choose other solutions. Veeam Agent for Linux has only basic features, and the configuration is not as good as other products. Veaam can create backups of the virtual environment, physical environment, and Office 365. You can also create backups to the cloud. There are many options. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

"Provides connectivity to a lot of different cloud storage solutions."
"I liked the way the product worked, its flexibility on the storage and cost, and the way it was supported."
"The most valuable feature for me is that I can see what has been successfully backed up and what has not, which is very valuable because you don't have to check the machines, and the second feature is that you can change backup settings in the portal."
"The solution is very user-friendly and has an easy to use interface. We can manage it easily. It allows for a simple backup."
"It's stable and reliable."
"Veeam Agent for Linux works like a charm and after-sales support is amazing, so I can only say that the product is very new."
"The Veeam Backup and Replication Suite is very user-friendly."
"The user interface is good."
"What I find most valuable about this solution, is that the user experience is very simple."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to pick up individual files."
"The really amazing feature about Veeam Agent is that when you're using the central deployment model, you can actually use the instant VM recovery feature, which is really a pain point that I find some days."

Cons

"The interface could use some updating."
"We could basically use just a more concise visual dashboard reporting on the status of the various machines."
"The solution's pricing is very high."
"The initial setup is a little complex as it has to be done in the office and requires someone to come in and install the solution on your server, then configure the scheduling, backup pushing, and so on."
"The graphics are looking a bit old and should be updated."
"Maybe implement an easier interface for basic users. For example, a set-up wizard with all the commonly used features as default."
"The other issue is that I don't like the implementation of the SQL backup."
"We could basically use just a more concise visual dashboard reporting on the status of the various machines."

"However, if you need to backup more types of solutions or Unix systems, like HP/UX, AIX, etc., it's not compatible."
"The integration needs improvement."
"Scalability, if you are talking about Linux, is good. However, if you need to backup more types of solutions or Unix systems, like HP/UX, AIX, etc., it's not compatible."
"The price of Veeam Agent for Linux could be reduced."
"There isn't much to improve. They just need to follow the trend or the development of other Linux products."
"In the next version, I would like to see an increase in the locations online. I have found that other products have good pickup location."
"It would be much better if more applications were supported on the Linux side."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is expensive."
"The cost is pretty inexpensive. Around four to five dollars per device, per workstation on each server."
"It includes a standard licensing fee. Once a year, there is a rebranding fee. The licensing costs are available on the internet for MSP360 Backup. There is a discount structure where if you have over 50 devices, you get a 50% discount. So, my cost is $2 a license per month."
"Its pricing needs improvement."
"Pricing is reasonable although can be quite a large upfront cost."
"It provides a good cost savings compared to our previous cloud backup."
"I rate the price of MSP360 Backup a seven out of ten."
"We have a very good return on investment."
"We have purchased a license to use Veeam Agent for Linux and the additional support. The overall cost of Veeam Agent for Linux is expensive."
"There's the principal license for Veeam Agent for Linux, and then you need to buy additional licenses for your machines."
"Licensing costs are $300,000 USD yearly, and we pay for three years at a time."
"Price-wise it's good."
"It's a subscription based license, which is started on a yearly basis. Currently the licensing is split between three editions: standard, enterprise, and enterprise plus. As long as you check the comparison between the additions and make sure that you have what you need, there are no extra costs with Veeam."
"The costing is very competitive."
"Veeam Agent is one of the cheapest products in the market."
"The solution is rather expensive and I think the price is too high."
