It integrates well with other platforms, is user-friendly, and is stable
SentinelOne Singularity Complete integrates with our other security solutions, correlating data from NDR, ADR, SIEM, and XDR tools. All this information is consolidated within SentinelOne, providing a centralized access point. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has helped us streamline our security operations by consolidating multiple solutions into a single platform. We are currently in the process of acquiring a threat intelligence platform to complete our security stack. We use Ranger to monitor our network and track connected devices. This is crucial because it helps us quickly identify unauthorized machines connected to our infrastructure, including personal devices. We have additional security measures in place, but Ranger provides an extra layer of protection. It also alerts us if the SentinelOne Singularity Complete agent is missing from any new or existing machines, allowing us to take appropriate action. SentinelOne Ranger's agentless and hardware-independent nature is crucial for our environment with 26,000 endpoints, as manual management of such a large number would be extremely challenging. Ranger uses a multi-layered approach to prevent vulnerable devices from being compromised. We employ scanners, network configurations, and a risk scanner to assess devices, endpoints, servers, and cloud infrastructures. Vulnerability reports and timelines for remediation are shared with device owners or custodians. This proactive strategy enables us to address vulnerabilities efficiently and secure our infrastructure. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has significantly enhanced our security posture. While no system is impenetrable, this solution has brought us closer to achieving a high level of protection, ensuring we maintain at least a 90 percent security level. Our team is dedicated to refining alerts and eliminating false positives from our solutions. Additionally, a team is responsible for identifying and excluding alerts from the solution. We can manually expedite this process by reviewing these elements and utilizing our security tools. We have been able to reduce the alert volume by 20 percent. Our 30-member Security Operations Center team has been able to redirect their focus to other tasks due to the time saved after implementing SentinelOne Singularity Complete. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has helped us improve our mean time to detect threats, which we accomplish using the Vigilance service for detection and response. SentinelOne Singularity Complete has helped us decrease our organizational risk. We utilize the Security Scorecard to manage our security posture, which has remained steady at 90 percent.

Has an easy initial setup process, but there could be more integration options
The initial setup is easy. I rate the process a seven or eight out of ten. We have LPR procurement. The deployment involves installing the product and adding a license. It takes three to four days to complete and requires a team of less than ten people to execute the process.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We have a preference for their receptor. It's good at finding many EFC files. EFC files could have a virus."
"The overall product quality is good."
"The anti-ransomware capability to analyze the threats and user-friendliness are the most valuable features."
"The product is a lighter client. Our previous solution ran heavy on the workstation and caused performance issues."
"It gives you good visibility of any threats or vulnerabilities that you might have on your network."
"Their platform is really easy to work with."
"The 365 management and analytics from the cloud is another great feature."
"The security aspect is the most valuable feature for me."
"The most valuable features of WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection are the clear useful portal and overall company protection."
"The notifications and patch management features are valuable."
"Both incoming and outgoing traffic is protected."
"On the cloud management page, the solution scales up very highly."
"There is a layer of security to prevent a malicious agent (malware) from interrupting or stopping services, deleting or modifying registry entries or even stopping the antivirus from acting, ensuring that there will be no interruption of protection."
"F-Secure is useful for keeping user machines up-to-date by pushing out security and critical updates."
"We use the product for detecting network vulnerabilities and for software update purposes."

Cons

"SentinelOne could improve by reducing the price."
"The solution can use up a lot of resources when scanning. It would be ideal if it was lighter."
"The only thing that prevented the attack from succeeding was a free version of Malwarebytes that was running on the session, which effectively protected against it. The MSP confirmed that SentinelOne failed to detect the threat."
"There is not much flexibility in terms of policy fine-tuning. We can turn it off or turn it on, but, there's nothing much else to do. Everything is predefined. It's good in a way, but you don't get much flexibility if you want to do something particular."
"Although the SentinelOne firewall seems to offer potential benefits, in reality, it hasn't proven to be very helpful."
"It's fine. It's correcting all the EFC files with a virus. All the achievements, maximum EFC files. Many EFC files will be flagged as a virus. Some virus databases need to be updated. The model is good at finding many EFC files. The trouble is it needs to be updated."
"Periodically we have an application that does not work correctly when SentinelOne is installed, yet performs as expected when SentinelOne is removed."
"The solution’s distributed intelligence at the endpoint is pretty effective, but from time to time I see that the agent is not getting the full execution history or command-line parameters. I would estimate the visibility into an endpoint is around 80 percent. There is 20 percent you don't see because, for some reason, the agents don't get all of the information."
"Resource consumption is suboptimal and could be improved."
"The program and cloud service management is in English. It's not a problem for me, however, it might be for users who don't speak English or use it regularly."
"There is no technical support available in the Middle East."
"There could be a dedicated security partner with essential knowledge."
"The solution could improve by having more real-time responses. For example, when a license gets removed from a computer it does not update the records of the change. Additionally, when I installed Microsoft Windows Defender I was not able to send licenses through email to our tenants. The integration with other solutions could improve."
"But the biggest one for us is patch management because this has been our top priority when looking at alternatives. Every solution needs to have patch management, if that's possible. It would cut costs on our side if that feature were included, so we don't need to pay for two separate pieces of software."
"I would like the part of Hash Analysis by external sources to be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I can pay, for my environment, between $30,000 and $40,000 a year, and that's a pretty good deal."
"The tool's price is reasonable."
"The larger count you have, the deeper discount you will receive in your contract."
"SentinelOne Singularity Complete is reasonably priced."
"Spend money on the security for the endpoint."
"The pricing for SentinelOne Singularity Complete is competitive."
"While SentinelOne Singularity Complete carries a higher price tag than some endpoint security solutions, customers find its robust features and return on investment justify the cost."
"Its cost is yearly. It is not much costlier than other leading products available in the market. I would rate it a four out of five in terms of pricing."
"We pay a yearly licensing fee of about €20 per computer."
"If you purchase licenses in bulk the price of the licenses can decrease."
"The price is comparable."
"The cost of the solution depends on the size of the company and where the licenses are being ordered from."
"The product has average pricing."
