The tool's data analysis is useful to help out the teams across the globe and to track their work. Qlik Sense is linked with our company's SQL servers. After working with QlikView for a very long time, I felt it did not carry over many of the features to Qlik Sense directly, and it was done over a period of time. Until the tool's MAy 2024 was released, we did not have a hide option for every object, which now they have given, but there is a workaround for it using the layout container. In QlikView, such features were easily available with an expression view. It was much easier in QlikView than it is in Qlik Sense's latest version. My company is not quite open to AI because of the compliance issues and the data restrictions that we have in place. We are managing AI-related areas in a controlled manner using Python and a few other things, which are being built in-house rather than using open-source platforms. I rate the tool an eight to nine out of ten.
In terms of ROI, my company's clients in municipalities who use the solution are very satisfied with it. My company noticed the AI functionalities associated with the product, but we don't use them. My company's customers use the analytical capabilities offered by the product. The product offers virtualization in the form of line graphs, maps and bar charts. I would say before using Qlik Sense, consider that its main competitor, Microsoft Power BI, also costs money if you want to deploy it for use outside of the organization. Though Microsoft Power BI pretty tends to be cheap, it is not. If someone wants to deploy Microsoft Power BI the way my company has deployed it, then it can be an expensive affair. Microsoft Power BI pretends to be a free tool, but it is not available for free. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.
In terms of the areas that have proven to be the most useful in data analysis needs, I would say that I am currently looking for the writeback extensions now because something our company wants to input a few things from the reports and that should get stored either into the QVD files or either into the database directly. The product is easy to use in our company, and it is used widely in our customer base. In my company, we don't see any issues with the product. Trying to integrate Qlik Sense with other third-party solutions has been an issue for my company because the APIs that we use to integrate the tool with other solutions are not easy to use. In terms of APIs, the tool has become complex, and now our company is finding it difficult to integrate Qlik Sense with third-party tools, that has become quite complex for us because it requires the use of APIs, and it is not easy, especially when considering that we have limited knowledge of APIs. I am not aware of the administrative side of the product since I mostly work on the technical part associated with it. Whether I would recommend Qlik Sense to others or not depends on their use cases. If the data size and all those things are not the concern, I think Qlik Sense is a good solution. In some other cases, other solutions apart from Qlik Sense may be a good fit. I am not aware of the product from a functional point of view, but technically, if the user base and data size are huge, Qlik Sense can become problematic. Speaking about how Qlik Sense supports our company's AI-driven decision-making processes, I can say that the tool currently serves our company's purpose, and we are currently looking deeper into the product since we want it to be easy to use and we also want the data size issues associated with the tool to the resolved so that it is able to fit into our needs. My company did not exactly want the product to be integrated with other tools, but we did want to create and go for a mash-up, which can be accessed by other users, and I felt it was something that was difficult. I rate the tool a seven out of ten.

Before implementing Qlik Sense, my advice is to carefully assess its development needs, as custom components may require coding. While the deployment phase is generally straightforward, take advantage of Qlik Sense's flexibility in data modeling, allowing developers to write scripts for more tailored solutions. It is crucial to document projects for better collaboration among developers. Overall, I would rate Qlik Sense as a seven out of ten.

My recommendation is to use it. It's a unique product in the market due to the technical reason of the associative experience. This is a unique experience for BI products. If you want a tool or a system for business intelligence, Qlik should be one of the candidates. It could be perfect option. Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten.
Qlik Sense is excellent for Leadership reporting purposes. Its specialty is quick data rendering, and data drill-down, which has been quite useful. The GUI is excellent.
My company is using the dashboarding tools of Qlik called Qlik Sense and QlikView. I can't remember exactly which version of Qlik Sense I'm using, but it's the version released in November 2021. My company is happy with Qlik, in particular, QlikView and Qlik Sense, and as of now, there's no drawback identified, or anything creating problems, but because I belong to an SAP-driven company and most of the ERP is SAP, my company is looking into an SAP product such as SAP Analytics Cloud, but my team has not started any project, just looking into the solution. My company has around two thousand Qlik Sense users now. Right now, because my organization has five thousand licenses, with just two thousand licenses being used, there's no plan to increase Qlik Sense usage. I would recommend Qlik Sense to anyone looking for a reporting tool. My rating for Qlik Sense is eight out of ten.

Definitely go to the cloud. Use the SaaS solution as it offers more capabilities and you don't need to be concerned about the back-end management. If fully going to the cloud is not possible, think of a hybrid solution.
I would recommend Qlik Sense for those dealing with large volumes of data. Qlik sense can give you complete end-to-end BI implementation. I would rate this solution as nine out of ten.

My advice is to just look for what your organization's needs are. Every org is different and may need different licensing and architecture. Just go and use Qlik. You will never look back. Happy Dashboarding !!!
We are a reseller. We do implementation and deployment as well. All types of businesses use the product, from small to large enterprises. Company sizes range from a few people to thousands of active employees. Qlik Sense, of course, is a new product that sort-of replaces QlikView. A lot of our customers are still using QlikView. Therefore, we are still using the product, but we're not actively selling it anymore. We are supporting it because all new customers are Qlik Sense. While we mostly deal with on-premises deployments, the cloud is quickly becoming more popular and has just become available for this solution recently. The advice I would give to other organizations would be kind of general. For BI projects, the trick is to start with the business value and then find the data to support the business value. Don't try to start with the data and then try and find the business value for that data. The tool really is a good tool and you can do almost anything with it, but just using the tool is not going to deliver value to your customers. You need to help your customer find business value in what they want to do and then deliver the solution for them. I would probably give the solution a nine out of ten. The reason being that it is a product that offers real value to businesses and it offers it fast.
I would say when you start with this tool, take the time to prepare the data first before creating reports and showing the business (especially if you are the only one doing this). This will help with getting ready for giving users the ability to create reports themselves, as opposed to them having to ask you all the time.
Qlik Sense is a visual analytics and business intelligence (BI) platform that gives users full control over their system’s data. From this platform they can control every aspect of their system data. It maximizes an organization’s ability to make decisions driven by their data.
Benefits of Qlik Sense
Some of the benefits of using Qlik Sense include:
Easily manipulate data: Qlik Sense allows users to easily combine and otherwise manipulate their system’s data. It allows them to create...

It is a very good tool for on-premise data analysis. I rate it a six out of ten.
The cost of licensing seems high and yet it is worth every penny, as the delivery of the panels is very fast.

Qlik Sense on-prem may be a better solution currently. However, Qlik Sense SaaS will overtake this product soon.

Overall, the product is very good so far.
I am very happy with Qlik and the solutions they offer. Like any system, it is not perfect but it allows for great flexibility and ease of use.
Good software but not for us at the moment.

We have been using QlikSense for the past four months and chose to test out this product after using QlikView for the past eight years.
