In terms of benefits, I feel that many companies are moving to Bitbucket Server since it can be deployed on an on-premises model at a time when everything is being moved to the cloud.
Bitbucket Server is valued for server management, ease of management, and its integration with applications like Sourcetree. It supports intelligent tools, code collaboration, traceability, and CI/CD pipeline setup, promoting efficient code movement. Seamless integration with Jira enhances team collaboration. However, it lacks some command line capabilities, has limited troubleshooting guidance, and can suffer from patching issues and high costs. Real-time changes online also need improvement.
