95% of restores globally are self-service so that IT doesn't have to get involved. But, reporting is limited if not using the API.
What is most valuable?
Automated backups/restore and is easily implemented. There are always new features being released, which keeps us excited to use the product.
How has it helped my organization?
The main plus for us is 95% of restores globally are all self-service. Not having to have IT help out the users to get their data back is a huge plus.
What needs improvement?
Reporting is pretty limited if you are not using the API.

1 year
What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
No issues. We had 2000 seats deployed in about 2 weeks.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Yes, we used Connected backup. The system was abused after being passed around to different people and it got to a point where restores would be failing on compressed files. Mainly .pst files.
How was the initial setup?
Very straight forward, it took no time for the solutions architect to throw something together for us.
What about the implementation team?
We used an in-house tool to deploy, although any client upgrades come directly through the console.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Yes, we evaluated E-Vault as well as Druva.

Systems Administrator Asst. at a university with 1,001-5,000 employees
It keeps back ups simple, but it tends to time-out with slower connections.
Valuable Features:
Quiet running and easy to administrate.
Improvements to My Organization:
Problem users never "forget" to back up.
Room for Improvement:
In the places we have slower connections it has a time out problem. A time setting would be nice so we can set these clients to backup after hours.
Use of Solution:
two years
Scalability Issues:
We just keep adding licenses. No issues. We went from 10 to 50 to over 300 seats now.
Other Advice:
Everyone has a backup now. In daily work life it is easy to forget to backup your files. This makes it simple.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
SOS online backup. Their admin console was a joke, could never tell if backups had been completed, and restoring could only be done file by file.
How was the initial setup?
Straightforward, I had a rep stay on the phone with me and help.
What other advice do I have?
This is by far the best cloud-based backup solution. If you are looking into cloud solutions, stop. Purchase Crashplan and never lose a night's sleep again.

The enterprise edition has centralized management for all devices being backed up on our domain, and the data is encrypted before leaving our machines.
CrashPlan is an excellent backup product. Unlike many backup solutions, it has a lightweight client that I don't even know is there. The enterprise edition has centralized management for all devices being backed up on our domain, and the data is encrypted before leaving our machines. The restore function can be a little cumbersome when restoring from the centralized management console, however the client based restore is relatively simple.
