Provides ease of configuration and good technical support services
We opted for this SaaS backup solution because we didn't have a backup solution previously, so we're currently testing different options. Our main goal is to protect the data and documents stored in SharePoint. Arcserve's automation capabilities have benefited us by providing a comprehensive backup and restore process solution. In terms of data recovery, both the performance and reliability have been excellent. It stands out due to its easy configuration process and the availability of numerous tools for backup and recovery. I rate it a nine out of ten.

Reliable rollback features for smooth IT operations and an easy setup
We are using Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 to take backups of shop floor PCs. I use it for clients locally, particularly for critical machines. It is also used globally for server-side backups and includes scheduling features like taking ten backups every Sunday when the factory is closed. This…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"In terms of data recovery, both the performance and reliability have been excellent."
"The data application is working well, and it does manage to match data when using the data option."
"The most valuable feature of Veeam Backup for Office 365 is the ease of use. You only need to create a folder in your drive and it's as simple as dragging and dropping files to store them."
"The solution is stable."
"Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is reliable and easy to use."
"The tool's most valuable feature is its integration with M365. Its GUI is intuitive and not bad. The granular recovery options for VMs have been useful, though not as crucial as Office 365 integration, which is why we use it. Granular recovery depends on the specific problems our customers face."
"The feature that I like the most is the system backup recovery from OneDrive."
"The tool is easy to use and straightforward regarding restoration and creating backups. It's user-friendly, providing results and sending alerts when something goes wrong."
"Its absolute functionality and intuitiveness are the most valuable features."
"I believe the solution is very scalable. We can continuously add mailboxes and sites."

Cons

"They should include the capability to back up on-premises environments."
"There are limitations with new hardware where it does not support failover and does not support the three-star bank group."
"The solution could improve scalability, both in terms of more storage and users. These two attributes are quite important when you talk about good scalability."
"The solution should provide more integration with Teams and SharePoint Online to perform other tasks."
"If Veeam could offer backup as a service for data backup and recovery, that would be great. We'd like something like what Druva is offering at the moment."
"While Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is a highly convenient product, there is room for improvement in its integration with Microsoft 365."
"I would like Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 to increase the speed to reduce the backup time."
"They should improve the backup and restoration time."
"We have found that there is a limitation in this solution where it only takes the backup of users who are using Office 365 Enterprise email IDs. We have many users in management and approximately 50 other users who are using Office 365 of which Veeam is able to capture the backup. However, for the other users who are on the local email server at that time, the solution is not able to capture the backup."
"When you add a new site for backup, it gives you a notice that there is a new site, but the way you select that and configure that could be slightly better. It works, but it is not always very clear. For example, for the URL, you need to hover over the title or the name of the site. You should see it immediately on the screen. It should have a better user interface for selecting what you want to back up so that you get a more clear overview of the sites that are there and the ones that you want to combine in a backup. Its user interface should be more user-friendly. It has a lot of scrolling and doesn't give you a complete overview when needed. That's the main thing why it is not very user-friendly. It should have a better user interface."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The SaaS platform offers many benefits; the licensing structure is suitable for monitoring and controlling users' storage space."
"Its cost is pretty high. I would rate it a three out of five in terms of pricing."
"We have 2000 users and pay about $10,000. It may be a little bit more per year. We have an education institute and may have fewer expenses."
"It is strictly subscribed on a per-user basis."
"It is not the cheapest solution in the market."
"The pricing is expensive."
"The cost of Veeam Backup for Office 365 is $19 for one mailbox."
"For the number of users and amount of storage you receive, it is not expensive."
"The price of Veeam Backup for Office 365 is inexpensive. We have a license to use the solution."
