Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Effective threat predictions, simple to deploy, and light on resources
Malwarebytes's initial setup is simple. It is easy to deploy and configure the policies and the configuration. I deployed Malwarebytes for one customer and I did it in under two days. They had approximately 50 users, it took approximately an hour. The steps I took for the implementation were downloading the Malwarebytes management console from the site, installing it, then running the discovery tool, scanning my network, and checking all of the PCs on my network. It's already pre-configured, you don't need to configure anything. The only configuration that I did on the administration console was some of the exclusion from the scan. This is the only rule that I have created. I rate the initial setup of Malwarebytes a ten out of ten.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"The product offers an opportunity to monitor the things happening in our network. It also has a comprehensive dashboard."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"The cloud console is good and the tool is effective in protection."
"The fact that it is almost plug and play means the policies I have to define are not very complicated."
"Protection is the most valuable feature."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."
"I like its unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email, for example. Multiple products can be standardized across endpoints or the EDR solution, and the integrations with SIEMs."
"I never have to look at it or do anything with it, and then my system just stays clean."
"I like the solution's ability to detect potentially unwanted programs. For some reason, it seems superior to other solutions, or at least in comparison to McAfee."
"Malwarebytes is a comprehensive solution for keeping endpoints safe and secure from intruders, viruses, malware and so on."
"The pricing of the product is very good."
"It gets the job done, and they are consistently updating it monthly."
"The product provides notifications for suspicious events. We have several public access points. The product helps to prevent unauthorized entry. Its most valuable features are pre-installation procedures and a cloud console. The console's interface is simple and can be viewed easily to take action. It covers everything in terms of security threats."
"The most valuable features of Malwarebytes are the agents, user experience, efficiency of the findings, and MDR features."
"It is a stable solution."

Cons

"I like the Application Control feature, but it's a bit tricky. Managing it can be a bit cumbersome sometimes."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"Potential areas for improvement could be more accessible and immediate support for critical situations, especially considering the regulatory challenges in healthcare."
"The solution must be more user-friendly."
"The price of the bandwidth here is very expensive compared to European countries."
"Machines with low memory and CPU may experience slow performance."
"At this point in time, the download footprint is a bit big."
"A solution must be installed in the main gateway to give an overview of the incoming and outgoing traffic. The technical support team's response time should be faster."
"We had a little performance problem with the solution, but that's been resolved. Since then, it's been running well."
"Malwarebytes should improve its mobile compatibility."
"Malwarebytes can improve its network database. Malwarebytes can scan the files and registry. It can scan the system with a light agent. It will not impact the performance of your PC. You can do the full scan and database scan using the EDR, and the RAM and CPU consumption will not increase."
"There are no built-in backups or integrated backup options, which could be an opportunity."
"My clients have frequently encountered some tech support scams where when you go to a particular website, it throws up a fake warning to you and states that you need to call this number."
"I would like to see a little more detail in the log. So, when an event occurs, I'd like to know not just when it happened and on what device, but what activity was taking place on the machine at the time so that we can drill down. If we get a false positive, we have to do a lot of research and go back and forth with our end-users to know why it was a false positive. So, having a little more detail around detections and events would probably be my most asked feature."
"Malwarebytes is not there in the reports from Gartner or IDC...If we look at the market trends and the industry, most customers look at Gartner's reports to identify whether a product is a leader, challenger, or a big product, depending on which they choose."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"The pricing is reasonable when I compare it to other security solutions, particularly Kaspersky, it stands out. It offers an excellent solution at a more favorable price point."
"The license is yearly."
"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
"We expect to pay $1,000 USD a month, depending on the number of users."
"The cost may be something in the ballpark of $20-25 a year per computer."
"Yearly, it is around $50 per client."
"I would say that it's affordable. It costs much less than Sentinel One, CrowdStrike, or anything of that nature. But, at the same time, you are getting what you pay for. So I would say it's one of the best when you're comparing traditional NextGen AVs like Webroot that aren't the best in the bunch."
"The platform pricing is competitive with other antivirus products."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a low price and ten is a high price, I rate the product's pricing a seven."
"Its licensing is annual. There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fee."
