Shows network traffic and anomalies but needs to integrate deep analytics
The tool shows me network traffic and its anomalies.  Cisco MDR needs to incorporate machine learning and deep analytics.  I would rate the product's stability a nine out of ten.  I would rate Cisco MDR's scalability an eight out of ten. My company has 700-10,000 users for the product.  Cisco…

Managed detection has strengthened our defenses and has provided real-time threat visibility
Sometimes we are facing performance issues with the end-user systems, and sometimes it is blocking a few of our applications, which we later resolve with the team. Recently, we were having our call center application running on the systems, which suddenly stopped working because CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR was not allowing it to run. After removing CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR, it started working, and then later we added the application URLs and the communication URLs to CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR allow list, so it started working. Some processor utilization needs to be dropped because now Windows systems are consuming more CPU and RAM than earlier. Windows 10 was fine, but Windows 11 is consuming more CPU and RAM. If CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR is contributing to consuming the resources, then other applications are taking a lot of time to run. In Windows 11, we are facing this issue sometimes, and we need more powerful systems than earlier. I would also appreciate improvements on the pricing side. Some of our locations where people are isolated, we are not buying CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR due to the pricing. If there is a nominal reduction in the price, then we will go for everyone in the organization.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The tool shows network traffic and its anomalies."
"The main valuable features are feasibility, ease of deployment, and that it's all based in the cloud."
"We found the initial setup to be quick and easy for the most part."
"Endpoint protection is the most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete at this moment."
"What I found most valuable in CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is that it has a lot of monitoring dashboards and use cases, and I saw that it's a very good product, and I was also amazed at the solution and its licensing."
"The most valuable features of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete are the modern and intuitive capabilities, and because it is cloud-based it is much easier to adopt and roll out to the environment."
"CrowdStrike has improved our meantime to closure on incidents by enabling us to have more contextual awareness for each of the detections, providing a much richer and broader scale of intelligence to each of the incidents and detections."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the real-time visibility into what is happening in your endpoint."
"Falcon's threat intel is strong, and the solution allows our customers to automate their site intelligence."

Cons

"Cisco MDR needs to incorporate machine learning and deep analytics."
"Pricing is definitely a problem. It could be cheaper for licensing."
"I would much rather see more refinement and investment into the prevention side of the equation, though CrowdStrike has a good engine."
"I have found customer support to be fairly good but it could be quicker."
"The training provided could be better. There is a need to have more training to allow us to fine-tune our settings."
"When you enable a particular feature, it takes a long time, from 15 to 30 minutes, to implement in enterprise environments. This can be improved."
"The downside is that if you are using a device offline, not connected to the internet, you will potentially have exposure."
"The training provided could be better. There is a need to have more training to allow us to fine-tune our settings. Not that training is not comprehensive; they do provide training in hotels where we can go and see videos and other helpful information. However, they should be providing hands-on experience to the system administrators because this would be more useful. The training is normally for corporations and should be available for personal users as well."
"We'd like the pricing to be a bit lower in the future."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool's pricing is high and I would rate it a four out of ten."
"The solution needs to have human involvement, they could improve by having more automation where the solution can take the necessary action on time and more accurately."
"There is a license needed to use the solution. The price of the solution is fair."
"Pricing is reasonable."
"At approximately €60 per machine, per year, I think that it's a good price point."
"CrowdStrike is more expensive than SentinelOne. Licensing works on the number of agents and the modules you buy. CrowdStrike has different modules, such as Falcon, Falcon Overwatch, Falcon Complete, etc. The pricing depends upon the module that the customer wants. They have different Incident Response (IR) teams, which are very expensive."
"Its price is very high. CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is 50% more expensive than Cisco AMP for Endpoints."
"The price is okay, although you're not going to get away cheap when it comes to security."
"We have a yearly license, and it could be cheaper."
