Best hybrid cloud for a small business of 7 users?

Try using Synology 1517+ which comes with bundle of software and one of them is SFTP which is secure and run with Linux. This solution address the requirements for FTP, FIle Share, Cloud Sync, etc. A single box can be deployed with multiple functionalities. I have used 1517+ with 5 X 10 TB disks with usable 35 TB (RAID 6) and cost approximately 2500 $. I am not fond of their syncing. Their file syncing is very clunky, so I am not a real fan of the file syncing. I think Box does a much better job of the syncing of data onto desktops and laptops. When you try to sync the files in Dropbox, it actually puts a copy of the file on your laptop, so it sucks up all of your memory. Whereas with Box, I can sync files into my file explorer and it is still cloud-based. They have not saved the file physically onto my laptop. They save it in the cloud and it just does a temporary download and then it uploads again, but that file is not saved on my laptop. Whereas with Dropbox, anytime you want to sync on your laptop, it actually does save it. There is a way to set it up, but it takes a lot more work and effort and I have never been able to get it to work the way I want it to work. So I just do not sync my files with Dropbox on my laptop. That limits my ability to use Dropbox from my work laptop because my work laptop just does not have any memory at all on it. They give the bare minimum of memory and say that it should all be in the cloud anyway, so you do not need to have that much storage space. So I cannot even access Dropbox from my work laptop and have to use the browser version of Dropbox if I need to access my Dropbox from my work laptop. Within the company, it is a personal choice. Our company has not dictated what cloud service to use. As long as it has all the security measures that meet the standards of our IT department, anyone can use whatever cloud service they want. For example, our company is not allowed to use Google because Google is not a secure cloud service in the estimation of our IT department. So there are cloud services that we are not allowed to use, but from the five to seven different services that they give us to choose from, we all can find what meets our needs.

Fantastic for small businesses; the customer feedback has been great

From a small firm perspective, Egnyte Connect is simple, it is easy to get users up and running the same day, and I have nothing negative to say about the software. I can't speak to how Egnyte Connect would operate in a midsize company or even a large Fortune 500 company, but, from our perspective as a small business, it is fantastic. For us, security was front and center. Usability was also important and took second place. Next, we asked "Is it simple and easy for anyone to quickly learn how to use it?" Egnyte Connect checked that box. Third place for us was price. We liked the fact that they charge on a monthly basis so there is not an annualized upfront fee that we pay.

"The issue of my authorization token expiring pretty quickly was pretty annoying. On pretty much every update, it would expire on every computer. On every computer update, at the first opportunity, it would expire. When my computer got updated or the authorization got cut, my saved drives would get messed up. So, I had to reconnect them all. I was never able to set up a useful drive system with my local computer with Egnyte Connect. It would be a big improvement if there was a cached system so that when it loses connection, it can still save what kind of connections were set up, and when it reconnects, it repopulates all those. I don't know if that's even possible, but that's the feature I'd want."
