Easy to set up with good security and rapidly improving capabilities
In terms of stability, the performance parameters do come into play. It's good on the regular office front, however, on the development side, if somebody is using it in a development environment, they need to make some configuration changes in terms of what directories should be excluded from the real-time scanning. I had to do that kind of stuff. I don't do that with the Microsoft product, for example. It runs, and it scans the entire system with no issues. The solution is stable. Regular updates were available in the product versions. They were updated, and they gave regular signature updates also so that the product checked all the boxes.

Great threat response, provides for proactivity, and has automated threat identification
In terms of the Pakistani market and talking from a salesperson's perspective, I'd suggest that Kaspersky introduce a bundle of Kaspersky EDR-Optimum or Kaspersky EDR-Expert along with its Business Select/Advance suite. When I say this, I understand the Pakistani market and how slow and less eager organizations are to invest in IT and internet security. Most of them don't invest until or unless they face any attack or network failure. However, in addition to the product, Kaspersky should give EDR-Optimum on the cloud for less than 300 users as well, in case any customer has its whole network on the cloud. That way they can easily use it.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"What is great about ESET is the ERA Web Console through which we can pull various reports, monitor and administer all clients and servers, and the console is easy to use."
"The solution provides good accessibility and is not heavy on resources when there are updates or when it is in operation."
"The most valuable feature of ESET Endpoint Security is the antivirus for the endpoints."
"It rarely gets in the way, and we don't even notice it scanning."
"The primary purpose is to protect computers from viruses and ransomware."
"ESET Endpoint Security's best feature is that it's invisible until it detects a problem."
"It's light. I almost don't know that I am using it."
"The most valuable feature of ESET Endpoint Security performance."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum have met our requirements."
"Instead of having to wait for alerts, the IT security team can actively hunt for threats by proactively scanning endpoints to spot anomalies and security breaches."
"The performance is good."
"What we like most about Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is its prompt response. We also like that it does scans on a daily basis, over every laptop or machine we set it for, and it also generates the report daily."
"The initial setup was easy."
"Kaspersky EDR is constantly updated and can respond to any threat nearly in real-time. They work hard to produce all the updates on time."
"The solution is very user friendly, which we appreciate."
"The most beneficial aspect of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is its protection capabilities, followed by its device management capabilities. The ability to remotely install software is highly advantageous, making it a convenient and helpful feature."

Cons

"I would like for ESET to create a central management solution. This would make it practical to use the internet for medium-sized networks."
"The feature is somewhat lacking in security protection."
"They should focus more on the offline market as well. Everybody is connected nowadays, and they want to do everything via cloud or fast internet connections, however, that's still not possible in many situations."
"The console or GUI of ESET Endpoint Antivirus should improve. Additionally, they should provide an addon feature for HyperV and VMware."
"Online security could still be improved in ESET Endpoint Antivirus because security is threatened by phishing."
"I think that ESET is a little too heavy on the CPU."
"They recently released an EDR integration. I hope they have more AI or intelligence filtering on the EDR events. Even though it has already got AI, but it is quite a different thing. So, they still have room to improve on the EDR part. This is one small piece that they need to improve. Otherwise, it is just fine."
"The adware module could be improved."
"Scalability depends on various factors."
"We have had some issues updating Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum."
"I want the tool’s pricing to improve."
"Occasionally, I encounter connection problems, and the signal is not very good."
"EDR Optimum's scalability could be improved."
"In terms of the Pakistani market and talking from a salesperson's perspective, I'd suggest that Kaspersky introduce a bundle of Kaspersky EDR-Optimum or Kaspersky EDR-Expert along with its Business Select/Advance suite."
"They should provide more notifications for incidents and more clarification or information about malicious activity."
"Security features could be improved."
