Offers great reliability to users
Protection is an area in the product where improvements are required. If big companies want to use the tool for protection purposes, like security, which is a big thing people are looking for nowadays. Sometimes, the tool's user interface automatically puts all the files in a different place, making it a bit difficult to go deep and figure out in which folder a file is present. I need to search for a file and drill down to be able to find it. There are a few bugs in the tool, as with all content management tools, since the solution is usually used to deal with huge amounts of content. If the flow of the documents is huge, the tool might get slow for the end users, or when the data is being migrated or imported into the tools.

Flexible plans, stable, and scalable
I used another solution at the same time, which was far worse. The American company I worked for used a similar file-sharing solution called LeapFile, a secure file transfer service. Personally, I found Citrix ShareFile to be much better than LeapFile, which was quite clunky. I later used a solution called Egnyte, which my company used as its main file transfer solution, though I'm not sure if it's still in use. The company moved to Egnyte because it is more of an enterprise-level solution. Egnyte was expensive, but it worked. I believe Citrix ShareFile is aimed at smaller to medium-sized organizations, making it a more appropriate solution than Egnyte due to its pricing.

"There is a free-to-use version. This is the version I use."
"The solution's customer service and support are helpful since they are responsive...Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten."
"The most valuable feature is that it frees up space in your device by allowing you to store your files on the cloud and provides 15GB storage for free."
"The Enterprise Dropbox solution is highly integrated with Microsoft's Office 365 and Azure products."
"The solution would query the Active Directory, and if new accounts were identified, Citrix ShareFile would add them automatically."
"ShareFile gives you all of the features of cloud providers, but in an on-premises solution."
"Citrix has a very good file auditing features and security features."
"It's user-friendly for end users."

Cons

"It would be helpful to offer more packages to increase the storage."
"My use case of this solution is fairly minimal. However, I am concerned about privacy on a cloud platform. Many people are not migrating to a cloud service because they are still concerned about putting data in cloud-based storage."
"The storage could be improved to manage it a bit better. Google Cloud Storage could be more secure, but the security features are okay."
"They need to get some parts of the program more mature, like the admin management part as well as the monitoring part."
"There are inefficiencies with cache when the names are sequencing."
"I would like to see better pricing."
"I would like the storage to be less expensive."
"The solution could improve by adding an automatic removal of duplications feature."
"The configuration on the mobile devices is a little clunky, in terms of setting up the application."
"Everything they have should be integrated into one item."
"The user interface is not very intuitive."
"Some of our customers are facing issues if they've deployed in hybrid mode."
"DLP features are lacking and required because, especially with everyone working from home, security is now paramount when the data is on BYOD devices."
"There are sometimes scalability issues after updates."
"My only issue with this solution is the cost, which should be improved."
"They should integrate the solution with more email services."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"In general, it's fairly priced."
"If you're ready to pay, they're ready to give you as much storage as you want. Considering the features that Google Cloud Storage provides, the pricing is reasonable. So far, I'm still using the free service from them because I'm able to meet my requirements with the free subscription. Maybe, in the future, if a storage requirement comes, I'll pay for it or go for the license."
"If you want a shared file system, you have to buy a server with the minimum capacity of one TB."
"If one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the product price as a nine to ten out of ten."
"I just use the free storage that comes with Gmail. I have 15 gigabytes."
"I am paying a yearly subscription fee."
"Approximately 800 to 1,000 USD is paid towards the licensing costs of the solution. The solution is neither expensive nor cheap, meaning it is moderately priced. There are no extra costs apart from the licensing costs of the solution."
"They have recently changed their pricing structures, it used to be free but now it is a paid service. However, I am on a monthly subscription and the price is reasonable."
"You have to work hard in order to get the suitable licenses."
"I give the cost of the solution a five out of five."
"Citrix has a very good file auditing features and security features."
"If you are already a Citrix customer, I recommend having the Platinum licensing level, as it provides licensing for a number of various features that all integrate together."
