Robust, reliable, and stable, ensuring high availability for critical integrations
I would rate the scalability an eight out of ten; it is a highly scalable solution. We have around 200 end users using this solution in our company. We use it to its maximum capacity. However, it's not for P1 applications, but definitely for severity two cases (P2 level). It integrates critical applications, but it's not a platform that, if it stops, the entire system would come down. So, it's more like a severity two level. However, it has the potential to eventually become a P1 platform. Not exactly P1 applications, but a P1 platform. Because now we are still in the transition to migrate everything, all the integrations to Mule Anypoint Platform. But once it's done, then this platform becomes critical. Because even now, we have point-to-point connections.

Centralized management, allow for prioritization, and easy to set up
Once I had solid hands-on experience with the software, it wasn't tough for me to learn this application. Everything was easy and flawless. The only issue at first was that we had to manually delete or raise the event in order to run some of the events and wait for jobs, even if the file was kept at the correct AL11 position. Eventually, after contacting the Redwood support team, we were able to resolve this problem. We experience sporadic connection failures while executing jobs in other systems, such as AS400, and after the work is finished at the AS400 end, the Redwood system keeps attempting to get the status from the AS400 system. This attempt cannot be manually controlled. We could set up a system where, after a certain amount of time, the job would be abandoned if the server hadn't responded.

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing of our solution is highly competitive. While it may not be categorized as exceptionally low, it is certainly more affordable compared to IBM."
"Price-wise, it is a good product since it is reasonably priced."
"The solution has a high price."
"Regarding pricing, I believe there could be room for improvement to align with user expectations."
"The tool's pricing is cheaper than other RPAs' since it is execution-based. Other RPAs charge based on subscriptions."
"The product comes complete at one set price including support."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing as four or five out of ten."
"MuleSoft Anypoint Platform really needs to work on its pricing model because it's very complicated."
"It initially surprised me because we went from an application that was priced by connection to agents/the number of agents to an application that was priced based on the number of job executions. At that time, many of the products we looked at were also priced on job execution. That seems to be more common in the business or in the vendors that provide solutions out there, but that was probably our biggest difference."
