Room For Improvement

IBoss users seek improved reporting, security features, cloud integration, higher network capacity, intuitive configurations, and more efficient customer support.
Netskope needs improvements in integration, UI, reporting, support, and security features, with emphasis on pricing and stability.
Qualys VMDR needs better reporting, UI, integration, asset management, reduced false positives, faster support, and enhanced features.
It is not as intuitive as the rest of the platform.

Setup Cost

Iboss offers competitive, transparent pricing with a per-user model, simplifying cost forecasting and enhancing budget predictability for enterprises.
Netskope offers varied pricing and licensing, rated medium to expensive but competitive, often requiring annual fees with negotiation potential.
Qualys VMDR pricing is higher, flexible, and negotiable, with costs based on company size, assets, and features.
It offers the same features you would get from a vendor that charges 250,000 British pounds for a fraction of the price.
I have a notion that Qualys might be more expensive than Rapid7.
I would rate the pricing between seven to eight out of ten.

Qualys VMDR offers a one-stop solution for monitoring and reporting.
I like the automated report generation and vulnerability report generation.

We experienced benefits immediately but the report generation is lagging
iboss excels on the networking side but lags slightly behind competitors like Zscaler and Netskope in terms of security feature parity. I'd like to see them accelerate development on the security side, particularly around data loss prevention. Using iboss for DLP instead of traditional endpoint solutions is preferable, but its current feature set requires some clunky workarounds. I'd also like to see better integration of DLP into the platform. Additionally, while it's improving, reporting can be slow at times. This is problematic when generating reports for executives who expect them immediately. I'd like to see further improvements in reporting speed and efficiency.

Provides good visibility, integrates well with other components, and enables organizations to protect their data
Netskope’s CASB provides good visibility of the applications being used. We can use Shadow IT based on the traffic. DLP and CASB are valuable features. The tool provides extensive DLP features. We can create any level of policies and protect our data on-premise or cloud. The tool integrates with all the components very well.

Good visibility but expensive and needs better support
Support: It's often overseas and often following a script, basically asking us to redo what we opened the case with. Multiple APIs: There seems to be a lack of easy onboarding into Qualys. We had to use manual inputs and some API calls to get items in place. Dashboard: It is very rudimentary with very little customization. The Qualys Scripting Language (QSL) works differently in different Qualys modules, so when you get it working in one area you have to modify the syntax in others. User account management: We often have to give users more rights than needed just to give them what they need. Integration with the various Qualys Modules: You can tell the UI is different based on of the different teams that created them. QSL syntax same in all modules Responsiveness of some of the components: They time out, you get a blank screen, etc. Backend updates between the various modules: You update connectors and information takes a few minutes to show in VMDR or Global Asset View Connectors: Connectors have a throttling issue with AWS which causes them to frequently fail unless you manually run them again.
