Integration tools streamline financial operations and enhance data management
The most beneficial feature in Workato is its accessibility. The interface is easily understandable even for a common user, unlike the NetSuite ERP direct website which requires more technical knowledge. In Workato, NetSuite ERP provides options for new employee records, invoice reports, and batch files processing. The batch processing capability allows handling up to 10,000 records simultaneously, which reduces tasks and processing time significantly. Regarding scalability, NetSuite ERP offers excellent options and reduces manual interventions through automation. In the past three months, I have observed improvements in their options and data storage capabilities, showing enhanced scalability compared to previous versions.

User management has become more streamlined and audit processes are easier to handle
There have been some bugs which Zuora support has been unable to fix until now. For example, when we initiate sandbox refreshes, access of users who are only in the sandboxes gets wiped off, forcing me to recreate their accounts from scratch, although their entries exist in Zuora One ID, creating confusion and manual work. It has been a year and a half since this issue arose, and I believe it should have been fixed by now, as it is a significant problem when kicking off sandbox refreshes. Additionally, we faced issues with new payment method types rolled out in Q1 2025 that created confusion as they reflected under users' names, which should not happen.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It offers reporting flexibilities that were previously unavailable to us."
"I recommend this product to professional services companies and those with complex international financial requirements. NetSuite ERP has strong capabilities in the finance domain that other ERPs may lack."
"The most valuable aspect of NetSuite ERP is the multi-subsidiary portion, it is the strongest across all the other ERPs. If you want to do consolidations, it works a lot better than other tools."
"NetSuite ERP has dramatically improved our organization. We went from QuickBooks to NetSuite. You can compare this transition to changing from tennis shoes to a flying car."
"We can install the bundles based on our needs."
"NetSuite is a better value than some competing solutions. The fee structure is simpler, and other ERP solutions don't offer as many options for configuration."
"The user interface is very good."
"NetSuite is significantly more affordable than Oracle EBS and offers a wider range of features than other OEMs."
"Zuora supports multiple pricing models. There are one-time usages, flat fees, per unit, tiered, and consumption-based models."
"The best feature is product configuration. The automation is also fantastic. I can say that it is very efficient in pricing. It works effectively in pricing efficiency. The solution is stable. I’ve not encountered any bugs. The product is scalable. It's a good solution that helps ensure you don't lose revenue. I rate the solution a nine out of ten."
"We have so many options for reporting, whether you want structured data or automation."
"What I like best about the tool is it's user-friendly, especially when checking accounts and subscriptions. You can see all the details, like consumer-created subscriptions, invoice details, and the ability to create and remove rate plans."
"It has made billing a reliable business function and provided the structure needed to optimize all of our billing processes."
"I am happy with the support team."
"I like that the UI is great and easily explainable."
"It is some of the most responsive support that I have encountered."

Cons

"The solution is not user-friendly and it is complex to use."
"Some of the features around the payroll and payroll taxes and management of that are lacking. We had to outsource some of that because we found that the functionality isn't there."
"The product should improve its warehouse management solution."
"The manufacturing and planning side could be improved. That part isn't up to date. NetSuite could be easier to integrate in general."
"There is a lot of room for improvement. Multiple manufacturing features need to be updated on NetSuite. More functionalities need to be added. I think there are a lot of functionalities coming out for warehouse management systems and manufacturing automation via advanced manufacturing functionalities. I think they need to improve a little more on those aspects and make it easier on the scheduling aspect."
"NetSuite ERP's UI could be improved. There are some features that are very complex that do not have to be. There are some aspects of the solution that could be simplified and this can include the documentation. Since it's a very complex tool, you expect to have great detailed documentation to help you implement it."
"The pricing is high."
"Many features such as local taxation and fund management are not there yet."
"The main area where issues can arise is third-party integrations, particularly payment gateways."
"It would benefit from more features designed to recoup revenue in B2C scenarios."
"There are a few areas for improvement. Some APIs aren't working in amendment-based subscriptions."
"Very rarely, maybe once every two months, the platform might be slow for a day or two. We usually receive notifications about these issues, which seem to stem from connectivity errors or similar issues."
"I would build dynamic retry functionalities directly into the core product and enhance their integrations with all payment gateways."
"When we raise global support tickets, we receive delayed responses."
"While fetching the data, I had faced some issues."
"Unlike Zoho, the main page doesn't contain everything. You have to click a button to reveal multiple options; even within those, there are further layers of options to navigate through."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of the solution is quite high."
"It is completely on a subscription basis. We pay yearly and, and you do not have to do anything on a monthly basis. Prices depend on the organization's scale and all those things, but they are doing a good job with the pricing."
"Regarding costs, it's not just about licensing. Customization recurring costs can become expensive over five to eight years, especially with new releases. However, NetSuite ERP integrates well with third-party applications, so it can still be used for finance while another ERP is used for localized production."
"Pricing for NetSuite ERP is okay, but it could be better. The licensing model for NetSuite ERP is based on the number of modules and users. The standard license covers up to twenty-five users. If you have more than twenty-five users, you'll have to buy the premium license, which would double the price. For one module with five user licenses, the cost is between $40,000 to $50,000."
"It is expensive."
"I would advise that you first meet with and scope out your project with a NetSuite VAR (Value Added Reseller)."
"When people buy ERP, it's a competitive situation and the pricing is paramount."
"NetSuite ERP has a cost per module you want to use, and then you have the license per user."
"Negotiate aggressively. Continue to push on cost until you feel comfortable."
"Explore multiple options for implementation."
"The solution is worth the price."
"The tiered pricing model is costly."
