Has all-inclusive pricing and good talent acquisition and onboarding components, and is an excellent product for mid-sized to large organizations
They could probably add surveying, as in engagement surveys, to their product. That would be something that would be valued by their customers. For instance, Culture Amp is a product that does a lot of the engagement stuff. They're diversifying into other aspects of talent management. It is not yet at the same scale as PageUp People, but it is an excellent product as well.
Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"PageUp has allowed us to integrate all HR systems and manage all processes associated with the employee lifecycle from recruitment through to managing performance, learning and development; also where applicable, departures from the organisation processes."
"This product is user-friendly and great for reporting purposes."
"If you are looking for a product with great support, recruitment functionality, ease-of-use, and reliability, this is a great product."
"I loved that function, as it made it SO much easier to work out the logistics of those days, and allowing candidates to book their own time slot was a lifesaver as it would have been a nightmare trying to do it for them."
"I have recommended PageUp to a lot of my networks due to the fact that it is one of the best systems on the market in terms of functionality, support, and reporting capability."
"It is a reliable, simple to use, end-to-end system for employee lifecycle management."
"It provides a centralised repository of information for various HR functions."
"PageUp has a different model from other organizations; as part of their pricing structure, they tend to work with you very closely and not charge you for the setup, so there is one price all inclusive of setup, and for that reason, they become an attractive provider to work with."
"Having an integrated HRIS system has saved time and increased efficiency."
"Customer service is good."
"Technical support is excellent."
"Talent Management and Business Intelligence are the most valuable features."
"The reporting functionality specifically has provided our organization with real-time, customized data, allowing us to make data-driven decisions and build programs based on actual data."
"Benefits, Life Events and OE have allowed us to move away from paper and integrate and track our data with our benefit providers, allowing us to better focus on improving benefits and communications versus data entry."
"The employee self-service feature is most valuable. This is the restaurant industry, and they have a mobile app that allows employees to go in and manage their data. So, employees can manage direct deposit accounts, emergency contacts, and other things in the app. That's definitely the biggest benefit."
"UltiPro is far and away the leader in SaaS products, especially when a $1M solution is not appropriate."

Cons

"In our experience, PageUp has not been as flexible as we would like or expect as a vendor."
"Maybe there is a need to improve the interface so that we will be able to easily search for modules in regards to the system fix."
"Initially, we experienced issues with the stability of the learning management module as we migrated 50,000+ existing training records from our old system."
"It is probably not as scalable as SAP SuccessFactors or other talent management systems that are available in the global marketplace."
"The on-boarding process, with specific relation to the provisioning process, isn’t set up as well as other competitors, such as RedCarpet (SilkRoad)."
"There are sometimes problems when loading the system; it can be very slow."
"The automated removal of historical data would be great if the user could remove it on an ad-hoc basis when required."
"The ability to pull reports was limited for us."
"Advanced benefits administration should include more-complex benefit setups (ex: items dependent on something else)."
"One area where UKG could improve is in its ability to understand its own competency and then work hard to improve it."
"Initial setup was complex. Many times, it felt like it was a do-it-yourself implementation."
"Change how the drop boxes work so you can do them faster."
"Better coordination between document uploads and the life events/open enrollment session."
"Technical support is 4/10."
"Since UKG is a SaaS software, other parts of the application or add-on solutions are not the best in class or very configurable."
"We encountered deployment issues."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"PageUp has a different model from other organizations. As part of their pricing structure, they tend to work with you very closely and not charge you for the setup. So, there is one price all inclusive of setup, and for that reason, they become an attractive provider to work with. Here in Australia, the education sector has gravitated very heavily towards PageUp."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
