Well-priced, user-friendly, and offers many great features
The solution is too big, too vast to really wrap your head around everything. There are too many directions it can go in. There aren't too many negatives. It's been an overall positive experience. Since they use a capacity license model, the problem is you have to do a first step proof of concept to see how many calls you have. This would dictate the license capacity you need to buy. The product could offer better backgrounds, or the ability to change the background.

Helped us tremendously in collaborating with each other and getting our work done and offers the breakout rooms feature.
We are a team located across various locations. Not in the same geographic location. We are distributed. And it's not possible to physically travel and meet people. Sometimes it's simply not possible. But Zoom has helped us tremendously in collaborating with each other and getting our work done. Without Zoom, it would have been very, very difficult. The breakout rooms feature is also helpful. For example, I have a meeting attended by hundreds of people and want to create subgroups. I typically use it for different role-play scenarios during training if we are trying to conduct some training on presentation skills. So there's a large group, which is initially trained by an instructor. Then you get instructions that the room will be split into smaller breakout rooms. I'll give you a topic, and you'll practice in these smaller groups. That's one way I use it. So it's like a simulation of a real brainstorming session I'd have in a physical space.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution offers a very user-friendly experience."
"Zoom has good integration and allows users to adjust the video image, other solutions I have used do not have this feature."
"The Zoom software is complete and effective, light and secure."
"The standout feature of Zoom is its excellent connectivity, offering high-quality audio and video. Additionally, its familiarity stems from being an early adopter in the field of online communication during the onset of epidemics. Previously, I had used a different system for video conferences in another company, which primarily relied on room-based conferences rather than peer-to-peer video conferencing. However, with the need to communicate directly with peers, Zoom emerged as the first and preferred choice for me. Overall, I consider it the top option and the primary tool I use. Additionally, the solution has all the functionality I need."
"like Zoom because it's a very simple program. We have more success using Zoom with clients, partners, and everybody else. Everybody seems to be able to get Zoom. Some people struggle with Teams."
"I'm not a really technologically sophisticated user. From my point of view, if I can use it, it's likely very straightforward."
"The solution is stable and user-friendly."
"The platform has a solid feature for scheduling short meetings worth 30 minutes."
"The most valuable features of Zoom are the quality of the video is better than other solutions and they have a recording option that is useful. Additionally, it helps to collaborate with other organizations."

Cons

"Since they use a capacity license model, the problem is you have to do a first step proof of concept to see how many calls you have."
"For me, the only thing I'd suggest is to make the pricing more affordable."
"The free version of Zoom only allows you to have a call session for approximately 45 minutes. This should be extended."
"Zoom should introduce AI features that allow you to understand a person's emotions."
"Zoom isn't well integrated with anything else. Obviously, it's integrated enough to be able to set an appointment or schedule a Zoom meeting."
"Setting up and understanding the tool takes time."
"I would like to see support for transferring files."
"It would be great if there was a bit more camera control. For example, cropping the image, and improving the background remover features, which can be buggy right now."
"If anything, the updates could be less frequent."
