Centralized system, less stress on the network and runs smoothly
It functions like a standard antivirus – I scan, I get reports... it gets the job done as I configure it. Overall, I'm satisfied with McAfee MOVE Antivirus. I haven't experienced any compatibility issues so far. So, it also offers good integration capabilities with other tools. The quality of the reports depends on what you're looking for. They can be good, bad, or average. Overall, the reporting functionality is adequate.

High availability, effective VPM, and responsive support
There is room for improvement with Trend Micro Deep Security, as there are instances where installations may need to be redone. There seem to be glitches when working with older Windows servers, such as those from 2003 or 2005, requiring us to uninstall and reinstall the product to resolve the issue.

"The most valuable feature is the protection we have had over the years."
"The most valuable feature is the security, which is very effective compared to other products."
"I switched to Trend Micro because of its good marketing techniques."
"In terms of valuable features, I would say its intrusion prevention. Each and every IP connecting to the server gets scanned so we know everyone who is accessing our server and we can block whichever IP's do not belong to us at the firewall."
"There's useful monitoring on offer."
"The traceback feature in XDR is amazing. You can trace back an attack. You can playback where an attack actually occurred and see how the attacker moved. We can easily show this to management, and it makes it easy to make them understand and convince them, which is the best thing."
"The file integrity and log inspection are game-changing features for us."
"We use the solution to detect malicious threats, secure the endpoints, and disable the UFT."
"It helps with virtual patching and IDS fetching."
"There are a good signature set and a high rate of detection."

Cons

"McAfee MOVE AntiVirus does not support integration with other devices, making it an area where improvements are required."
"The solution could be more secure."
"The product must use AI to detect and block unwanted viruses automatically."
"The performance of this product could be improved."
"The dashboard should be improved, as a more user-friendly version is required."
"Our only issue is performance. McAfee needs a plan to make that better."
"It would be very helpful if a significant reduction in overhead could be brought about."
"McAfee could improve the administrative interface. It's functional but could be more user-friendly."
"The product isn't very user-friendly."
"The support for email protection can be improved."
"Some of the reporting and integrations could be more robust."
"I would rate tech support in the range of six to eight out of 10. Time to provide solution could be improved."
"If I had more reporting, the product would be an A plus."
"The cost is very high."
"I would like to see XDR features and endpoint sensor become available."
"The situation with the currency in Turkey makes this solution a little bit on the expensive side, and if it were lowered then it would be more competitive."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have purchased an annual license to use this solution. The price of the solution could be lower."
"The solution is not expensive."
"The licensing depends on the number of devices secured by this product."
"There is a yearly subscription for McAfee."
"There is a yearly subscription cost for this solution."
"The solution was expensive earlier, but now the rates are cheaper."
"There is a need to make payments towards the licensing costs of the product, but it is not too much, in my opinion."
"The licensing fees are billed on an annual basis."
"Purchasing on the AWS Marketplace was easy. We decided to purchase this solution on the AWS Marketplace since we were already there."
"Trend Micro Deep Security is quite expensive."
"CrowdStrike had an advantage over Trend Micro when it came to pricing. Trend Micro had several modules, so it was a little priced up, but CrowdStrike was not. However, even CrowdStrike has increased their price now, so probably both of them are on par, but the number of modules that Trend Micro has is far more than CrowdStrike. It comes with file integrity monitoring, application control, and web reputation. It has outbound URL protection, and it also has ransomware protection for servers, whereas CrowdStrike Falcon is a straightforward solution."
"Trend Micro Deep Security is average compared to other products on the market; it's neither particularly expensive nor cheap."
"It's more expensive than other solutions, such as Sophos and Kaspersky, as an endpoint solution."
"We are an original partner with AWS, so a couple of customers chose to directly take it from AWS Marketplace. A couple of customers will want us to take care of the billing. So, it's a mixed type of reaction that we receive from the customer."
"The solution is offered at an average price point"
"The tool's pricing is quite high."
