The primary use case of this solution is for backup and replication of virtual machines, and the backup of MSL.
The deployment model was on-premises.
The primary use case of this solution is for backup and replication of virtual machines, and the backup of MSL.
The deployment model was on-premises.
The most valuable feature of this solution is the replication functionality.
The implementation of this solution needs to be improved. They add multiple features and new versions, which makes it very difficult to follow. They need more documentation, awareness, and assistance.
In the next release, an additional feature would be to have the disaster recovery where the data could restore automatically.
This solution is stable, but we had a problem with the backup until we installed a data protector. After that, we have not experienced any problems with the backup.
We have not needed any technical support, but If you are implementing the solution the assistance is available if needed.
I would rate this solution a six out of ten.
We use Veeam with a private cloud, primarily for backup.
It is easy to use and easy to recover files.
Technical support could be improved.
I would like to see the management tool support faster recovery time.
We have seven users and we have no plans to increasing that.
I'm not sure about the price, but I think it could be lower.
I would rate this solution as eight out of ten. I recommended it.
The primary use case is to keep emails for longer retention time.
The feature that I like the most is the system backup recovery from OneDrive.
The license pricing can be reduced.
I have been using Veeam Backup for Office 365 for three months.
It's a stable product and we have not had any issues.
Veeam Backup for Office 365 is scalable. We have 50 users in our company and we have plans to continue using it.
Technical support is okay. They are the same as other technical support systems all over the world where you go to level one to speak with technical support.
Previously, I did not use another product.
The initial setup and installation were straightforward.
It only took 10 to 15 minutes to deploy.
We did not use a vendor, retailer, or consultant. The implementation was done by myself.
The licensing price is quite high. It's expensive.
I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in implementation.
It's a good solution with good email capacity, and it's easy to use.
I would rate Veeam Backup for Office 365 a ten out of ten.
We use the private and hybrid models of this solution.
I love the fact that you can easily restore item levels.
In the future I think that Veeam needs to support more easily, more databases and more services like SaaS services.
They should improve the backup and restoration time.
It's actually pretty stable. I didn't have any issues regarding the stability of the product yet.
We don't actually need to scale this product. Maybe for an enterprise organization, it can be a bottleneck if they are using just one server. They need to control the scale-out services a bit.
In terms of the number of users we have, I have customers that have thousands of mailboxes with Veeam backup.
Veaam technical support, from my perspective, is one of the best technical support I've ever engaged with.
The initial setup was very simple. If you are very experienced the setup can take you half an hour.
I think it's a fair price. It's around $36 per user, so I think it's a fair price for our customers.
I would rate it a nine out of ten.
We use the hybrid deployment model. We use it locally.
Backup and replication are the most valuable features.
In the next release, it should have direct export to tape drive abilities and NDMP support.
The initial setup was straightforward. Veeam is quite easy to set up.
Pricing is very reasonable especially compared to other vendors.
It's a good solution that works and we can rely on.
I would definitely recommend it. We are resellers and we prefer this solution. I would rate it an eight out of ten.
We primarily install the solution for our clients.
The solution is used for backup purposes, specifically for Office 365. By default, depending on how it is configured, it will back up every eight to ten days. Beyond that, if you need specific mail recovery or complete mail recovery, you can do that as well.
Overall, it's a very good product.
The configuration is easy.
The installation process is very easy.
I have found the solution to be very stable.
They offer a very good management console. With the dashboard, you can understand exactly what is going on in your infrastructure in relation to backup and recovery aspects.
While I don't have a use case in mind, it would be great if they could integrate more automation capabilities into the solution.
Integration with other products could be improved.
The solution is stable. There were previous issues, however, now the issues are sorted out. Now we can take the file backups, and NAS backups specifically. While streamlining or fine-tuning is still required, they're working on that.
Its performance is good. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze.
We have installed the solution for three or four customers.
I've dealt with Veeam support in the past, not necessarily for this product. However, it's my understanding that the support would be the same for Veeam across all products and I don't have any complaints with their level of responsiveness or helpfulness. That said, they could always improve their level of service.
The initial setup is pretty straightforward. You have to install the console and everything is there. It is just a console installation. There are only three or four clicks and you are done. However, everything goes on the cloud. That is how we have configured.
It is not a huge task to configure O365. If you know how to do that particular thing, it's hardly a half-day's worth of work. In one instance, we had three, One storage and NetApp storage devices and 50 mailboxes, and two or three servers. That was the infrastructure. The deployment for that took half a day.
I can handle the deployment and maintenance aspects of the solution on my own. You only need one person.
As integrators, we help our clients install the solution.
The solution is subscription only. That said, you have to procure the licenses separately. So O365 licenses are separate and Veeam licenses are separate.
If someone has O365 or any other mail solutions, they should definitely go for Veeam.
I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. I've been pretty happy with its capabilities. I'd recommend the solution to other users and organizations.
I use the solution for software production and virtual machine backups.
One of the main features of the solution is it is easy to use.
I have been using the solution for approximately one year.
The solution is very stable. However, in our last deployment, we have had some conductivity issues that we have yet to be resolved. In my country, we have a decent download speed but the upload is not that fast which is causing some issues.
We plan to increase usage in the future.
I am satisfied with the technical support of the solution.
The documentation for the installation is good. However, if you are new to the environment the installation could be difficult. The first time we did it it took approximately four days.
We did the implementation ourselves.
There is a license required for this solution and we pay annually.
I would recommend this solution to others.
I rate Veeam Backup for Office 365 a nine out of ten.
As a customer, you don't have the required protection of your data when you use 365. There are two possibilities; Veeam Backup and Veritas SaaS Backup. The difference between the two is that Veeam Backup gives you the option to backup your data from the cloud to on-premises.
This solution could provide the option to choose a different storage areas. When you backup data, you have different types of backup and you have the possibility to pay for different levels of target storage. For example, when you use storage in the cloud, you can have a different storage classes with degrees of performance. This solution does provide the option to choose a different target of storage.
It would be good if we could provide our customers with a possibility, using this tool, to back up additional data using less expensive storage (like AWS Glacier does).
This solution would be improved if our customers could simplify their graphic user interface and for it to be more user-friendly.
We have used this solution for two years.
I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
