The maintenance of the product is difficult since there is a need to have so much dependency on other products or solutions, for which you need to ensure that you are on the same page with other vendors. The maintenance of the product is quite complex since there are too many dependencies. For the maintenance of the product, a user needs to have access to L1, L2, and L3 support because of the tool's relation with end-user computing. If there are any issues with the solution, then the user won't be able to do work, which hampers the user's productivity. I rate the product a five out of ten.

We are a reseller and a partner. We are using an older version in a deployment right now. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. If you have a use case and if you have VMware products already, it'll come along with some of the licenses, so you do not have to pay additional fees. That is one advantage. It'll also be easy to integrate with VMware Horizon, Horizon Stack Workspace, VMware Workspace One, and other related products.
It's important to look at the bigger picture to get the full benefit of the product. It can be tailor-made to suit your needs. Some countries might not be able to access it or they might find that there's an extra MFA. MDM or Identity Manager separately are not enough. You need both, as well as Okta to get the full story, so to speak. They work closely with VMware so that the pieces all work together with their product. It's perfect for our customers and our company. The important thing is that it's developing all the time and they are constantly working on it, so if it's good now, it will be good in two years as well. I rate the solution nine out of 10.

My advice to anybody who is implementing this solution is to be close attention to the rights that are given to end-users. This is a critical aspect. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.

The biggest lesson that I have learned when working with this product is that you can publish to a repository, rather than using a simple network share. Our customer was very happy with this. Overall, this is a pretty good product that can do many things. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.
This is a solution that I recommend. For the purpose that this solution is designed for it works great, but it doesn't compare well with other solutions. I would rate this solution a five out of ten.
We deploy both on-premises and cloud. The auto-prem is easier but the cloud is much better. It's important when installing that the roadmap of the application integration is carried out correctly. I would rate this product an eight out of 10.
I'm currently in the process of testing the solution. In terms of cost, I'd probably go with HP or VMware. We have a number of VMware implementations, so VMware is the only solution that we have actually used. Generally, I am satisfied with VMware because they have been quite responsive in terms of the kind of challenges that we have in the Central African region. We have solutions that are very scalable. It's also very flexible, especially with regard to multi-cloud infrastructure. In other areas, it's actually not more capable in terms of running the virtual machine. It's also more flexible in terms of the choice of hardware that you'd actually like to use. We haven't actually used VMware outside of the test environment. Previously, one of our challenges was providing enough security in the virtual environment but VMware achieved that years ago. I don't quite see any urgent need for me, but maybe other organizations may require VMware for a more complex deployment. For us, VMware, pretty good. It's also scalable, it's more affordable, and it's also easier to deploy. It's not restrictive to particular hardware. VMware meets practically all of our expectations at this point. I would rate this solution nine out of 10.

I rate vIDM a nine out of ten. During the time I worked with it, it was a really nice product, and it was straightforward and reliable.
