The OEM console of VMware Workspace ONE is enough to manage device fleets. A unique feature in VMware Workspace ONE allows remote management of each device. The aforementioned feature can be obtained through an add-on license from the VMware Workspace ONE manager, which facilitates our company's ability to control the user devices with their permission. The SaaS version operates on native servers, so the solution cannot be implemented in other public clouds. Once a customer is onboarded to VMware Workspace ONE in our company, a tenant is provided with the solution where the username and credentials just need to be inputted to start. The configuring task needs to be implemented manually on the on-premise version of the solution, and internal resources must be accessible. As part of the deployment process, a couple of gateway servers and AVOS log connectors might need to be configured in the solution. I would rate VMware Workspace ONE a nine out of ten overall. I would advise others to test the solution to get a hint of its capabilities. Our organization's customers might initially check traditional mobile device management solutions before evaluating VMware Workspace ONE. For instance, there is a Microsoft Intune product that comes in a bundle of solutions; customers might adopt such a solution without testing. I would advise customers to undergo demonstrations or PoCs to compare with other solutions before adopting VMware Workspace ONE.

We prioritize integrating new applications and platforms into Workspace ONE and replicating the client environment, facilitating our development process. We typically develop, test, and then restore environments, which covers most of our cases. We have clients with proprietary systems, and it's more convenient for us to upload their virtual machines to Azure. Instead of installing everything, I prefer copying their virtual machines from on-premises VMware environments. However, when updating these virtual machines on Azure, I have to install agents and other components each time. I would like to have a mobile solution in the cloud to streamline this process. As someone who works in a development environment without stringent production requirements, someone other than me might be the target user for Workspace ONE. Before deciding, assessing whether the features and capabilities align with the individual or organization's requirements is important. I rate it an eight out of ten.

You might face limitations if you're seeking pure MDM rather than unified endpoint management. But if you need comprehensive UEM that meets broader needs, you won't have issues.

Currently, the firmware is not working on the hardware. I do simple projects. Integrating the solution with other enterprise systems has moderately improved our operational efficiency. I will recommend the product to others. It is quite good. I like the tool. Overall, I rate the solution a five out of ten.

Personally, I would not recommend others to use the tool. My company can provide the product to those customers who want to use it, but if they ask us to suggest alternate solutions, I would recommend the other EMM tools in the market. I rate the overall tool a seven out of ten.

The product’s feature that significantly improved employee productivity is the seamless access to documents from anywhere. The platform’s unified endpoint management capability significantly aids in simplifying IT operations. It enables centralized management of application updates. Moreover, the security features, especially the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) functionality, have significantly impacted our data protection strategy. We have integrated the application with Office 365 for compliance purposes. It helps us manage conditional access to the services. It has improved the security status. I recommend VMware Workspace ONE to others and rate it an eight out of ten.

The most important feature of the product in enforcing our company's security policies is getting correct access to the network. The IAM feature of the product is the most critical component that is useful for our organization. The product's single sign-on capability is an advantage not only in terms of security but also in terms of how it is made work easy in our company. Some of the internal people in our company take care of the maintenance part of the product. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I would describe the product to be very capable and adaptable when it comes to the integration capabilities it offers, considering our company's existing infrastructure. Based on the use of the solution in our company's IT operations and the satisfaction level of its end users, the tool has helped my organization to increase efficiency and productivity. I rate the overall tool a ten out of ten.

The maintenance of the product is difficult since there is a need to have so much dependency on other products or solutions, for which you need to ensure that you are on the same page with other vendors. The maintenance of the product is quite complex since there are too many dependencies. For the maintenance of the product, a user needs to have access to L1, L2, and L3 support because of the tool's relation with end-user computing. If there are any issues with the solution, then the user won't be able to do work, which hampers the user's productivity. I rate the product a five out of ten.

I would advise just being clear about your use case and what issue you want to solve in your business. Try the drive test of Workspace ONE in VMware. It can give you some insights about this solution. Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten.

We took two months to understand and manage the tool properly. It is a cloud-based solution. Our client might have used a third-party consultant to deploy the solution. I came to the team after the implementation was done. We do not use the solution anymore. We migrated from VMware Workspace ONE to Microsoft Intune because of the price. The solution is really good for a large company. It provides different use cases for the devices. Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

I would rate this solution as seven out of ten. My advice is to find a company that knows MDM. For example, the team in my company mainly specializes in MDM, which is why we can help customers. Not many companies in Hong Kong can help customers to implement.

I give the solution a nine out of ten. I suggest if a person wants to start using Workspace ONE, they should make use of the cloud instance instead of the on-premise instance. There is an on-premise instance available, but the cloud instance is a better option now. I advise them to make use of the cloud instance. This is because management-wise, there is no need to manage a server. For example, we don't need to buy a server, and we don't need to buy network switches, which are required for the on-premise. At the same time, I can advise setting up all the functionalities or whatever functionalities are available for the trial version. We need to check if the Workspace ONE integration includes Azure AD or other identity providers. A lot of applications are using these providers for authentication, such as Ping, Okta, and others. If the Workspace ONE integration doesn't include these providers, the company might have to find a different solution. Security projects should also be considered. Specifically, if the solution can integrate with local security solutions to secure mobile devices.

It is based on the requirements. If he has Intune and has the Microsoft license already in place, it is based on those requirements, and based on the circumstances. But ultimately it is a good choice, I would not say it is a bad choice. I would rate VMware Workspace ONE an eight on a scale of one to ten.

I'm a customer and end-user. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. I've been pretty happy with its capabilities.

We are a reseller and a partner. We are using an older version in a deployment right now. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. If you have a use case and if you have VMware products already, it'll come along with some of the licenses, so you do not have to pay additional fees. That is one advantage. It'll also be easy to integrate with VMware Horizon, Horizon Stack Workspace, VMware Workspace One, and other related products.

We are end-users. I'd warn future users not to underestimate the impact on an existing environment. I'd rate the solution three out of ten. It's hard to use in the absence of support. It does what it needs to do. However, I don't like it.

I suggest to others if they have multiple device platforms, especially in Apple and the VR device area. VMware Workspace ONE is the best tool where they can receive not only the VR and Mac support but in order to manage the Microsoft Windows devices as well, they will have good functionality. The solution is good, particularly the latest version. I would recommend moving to the Cloud version, because I believe there is a VMware offset version of the product. I rate this solution eight out of 10.

If a customer requires a true solution then I would say VMware is the right choice. But if you're looking for application video or ADSX kind of solutions, then GFX is better. I rate the solution nine out of 10.
