What is your primary use case for VMware Horizon Air?

I use VMware Workspace ONE for client and device management. This includes managing mobile devices and laptops.

In our company, we use two versions of VMware Workspace ONE, one is the SaaS version on the cloud and another version. Most of the customers of our organization are using the solution to manage their devices, including mobiles, laptops, and similar devices. VMware Workspace ONE also provides our company's customers a tunnel access to corporate resources.

We use the product to manage virtual machines and services within a company's infrastructure. Over time, the focus has shifted towards incorporating additional features like container services.

We use the solution for device and telecom expense management.

The product enables us to access our internal applications through any device from anywhere.

I use the solution in my company for use cases where we need a tool that allows for easy management, especially in areas like mobile management.

We use the product to manage the device.

VMware Workspace ONE facilitates application management on mobile devices. Moreover, VMware is not limited to mobile devices; it's also used for Windows 10, 11, and Mac management. We've actually started engaging with that. Among the large deals involving 20,000 to 25,000 users, we're working on that one, like putting different backbone issues together.

I use the solution in my company since we have some applications running on it.

We use the solution with Horizon to set up VRA for new solutions.

I use VMware Identity Manager to make it easy for clients to access apps with one login.

VMware Workspace ONE is an MDM solution that we use to manage mobile devices, laptops, IoT devices, and iPads.

VMware Identity Manager is a part of VMware Horizon, which is utilized to manage users. I was previously an employee of VMware. I continued using products from VMware, even in HP, Accops, and Novel. Personally, VMware Identity Manager is useful for comparison purposes so that I can provide better solutions to my company's customers.

All the use cases are related to Salesforce and people who are working outside the office. Sometimes, they register their PCs inside the office in Workspace ONE to manage them and push some software or install it remotely and some kind of things.

Due to limited access, we have limited access control.We are using VMware Workspace ONE mainly for access control. Actually, as per our requirements, the product provider offers us conditional access. I think no other product provides this type of criteria. That's why we are using it.

I use the solution to manage the shared devices in the organization.

My clients are using VMware Workspace ONE for information protection and enterprise mobility management.

The solution's use cases can vary depending on the organization. For example, we have deployed projects for BYOD, Mac Management, and Windows Management solutions. Each project is different and tailored to the specific needs of the organization. One of the benefits for our customers is the ease of use with a single platform to manage all devices. The dashboard is visually appealing and provides compliance insights for CIOs and CTOs to review.

The solution is good for controlling mobile devices centrally. When you have a distributed network, it's able to easily manage and centralize.

I use Workspace ONE for my work with Homeland Security, but we're getting rid of it. VMware is the current mobile user platform for Homeland Security, specifically weapons of mass destruction. I've been consulting with them for the last four years, and I moved over to weapons of mass destruction four months ago. They're switching from VMware to Intune, and I was concerned with the due diligence. They've made a decision. and I'm helping them make that transition so that they can properly integrate the state and local devices for detecting chemical, biological, and nuclear attacks. I just know some people at VMware at the senior level, and I talk to them when necessary. Homeland Security wasn't using the product how they should and they didn't reach out to VMware to identify the holes in the processes or inadequacies of the application that could've been addressed. The people in the weapons of mass destruction division didn't have the technical competencies to understand the software solutions, so they brought in a consulting company called Mobile Mentor, which is an Intune reseller. I told them that wasn't a reason to switch.

We used it for the backup and restore. If you have some sort of data that you've lost, you can restore from a previous snapshot.

We are using VMware Workspace ONE for mobile devices.

I'm a reseller and help our customers implement the solution. We're using version 20. Most of our customers deploy the solution on a public cloud. It's the VMware shared cloud. Most of our customers are small enterprises because most of the businesses in Hong Kong are small. Our customers usually have 20 to 100 devices. There are two distributors in Hong Kong. We buy from the distributor, resell the solution, and we help other IT or telecom companies to implement the solution for their customers because they don't have professionals to do it.

We found that most of the use cases we needed were for mobile devices, such as Android and iOS. In one of the use cases, we wanted to use a secured email on iOS. Since we have Workspace ONE, we have what is called the Box application. We wanted to make use of the Box application and push it from VMware. We also wanted to make use of accesses such as a gateway or VPN to gain access to our internal resources. The solution can be deployed on-prem or in the cloud.

Our primary use case is to control the email services for mobile devices and we are controlling that just to avoid leakage of the information for those devices.

We have some VMware products, and the company uses Workspace ONE since we use the virtualization product, VMware. This is just a virtualization product. In work before, we have used the VMware direct connection.

A user can leverage the solution if they basically want to integrate the system with two-factor authentication or multifactor authentication to access desktops and sessions. Users also leverage the access portal from a remote host and gain access to the system.

The primary use case was to containerize data and allow us to deploy applications securely. That was the use case that was predicated on and funded as a security initiative.

VMware Workspace ONE can be deployed in the cloud and on-premise. The main use case for VMware Workspace ONE is for customers who are looking for a single tool for all their device management needs and have had limitations with respect to Mac specifically and virtual reality devices with other solutions such as Intune. They can move to VMware Workspace ONE, where they can have all kinds of support.

We deploy this solution for enterprise-size organizations. We are VMware partners and resellers. I am the CEO of a system integration company.
