An affordable tool to create workflows requiring an easy initial setup phase
I use AgilePoint in one of the world's largest companies where I currently work. My team and I worked together and created forms, workflows, reports, emails, and a custom portal, which was a very difficult process. Sometimes, we use Dynamics 365 with Logic Apps and AgilePoint for some of our use…

A flexible, customizable solution that reduced time to market, but the UI and customer support could be better
The ability to write our own code inside each activity is beneficial. Sometimes we need to create functionality that doesn't come out of the box, and this allows us to do that. The orchestration capabilities provided by the solution are good; they're helpful and fully functional, plus Bizagi has a management consultant to assist. However, they could be better, and there is significant room for improvement. We can adapt processes we created with Bizagi as our business grows and more processes become automated. We have been doing that on a live process, and it works very well. If the change we are implementing is very different to a traditional workflow, we can create a new version and design cases in the new version instead of the older one. We can modify processes already in place if the change isn't too disruptive, or we can keep using the same platform but create cases in a new workflow instead of the old one, so there's a lot of flexibility. Adapting processes is straightforward, though it depends somewhat on the complexity of the process. Making minor modifications is not complicated; we go into the studio, change the piece of code, workflow, or data model we need, and then redeploy.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"AgilePoint's most valuable feature is process management."
"AgilePoint has improved our organization by making form implementation easier and to plan for future growth."
"I like the design and the integration capacity. It's also easy to use."
"The solution's workflows are its most useful feature."
"The initial setup of AgilePoint was very easy."
"The product has a comfortable GUI and a good environment for users."
"The product allowed users to connect with flow chart elements with ease."
"This solution is easy to use and it is a good tool for process modeling."
"The amount of control that this solution provides is great."
"This is a free solution that allows us to create quality visualizations for our company."
"Bizagi is really great for beginners because it's user-friendly and you can learn in it quickly, whereas other similar software are harder."
"The visualizations and attachments provided by the product are valuable."
"The solution offers a free version of their product."

Cons

"They should add more information about functionality."
"While the platform is good and it has a lot of options, I would like to see more alternative features in future versions such as connectors to IDM. Currently, they have only ADFS and Okta."
"It could be more flexible, but it's already a good solution for the designer."
"Some issues with AgilePoint's design, AI and UX are some of the major problems we deal with when handling our company's business models or processes."
"The solution should be able to support Docker. This would help make scalability easier."
"I think that they could improve their update process. Some of the process mining techniques could be added to Bizagi. I think that they can improve their simulation abilities to include more elements of the BPMN."
"One part of the university has changed its regular desktops to Linux. This is a weak point because Bizagi doesn't run on Linux. I would like the opportunity to run the software inside of Linux."
"The tool is expensive and it should improve its pricing."
"We have migrated to the cloud, but there are a lot of issues while integrating with the cloud. There are a lot of things to improve with the cloud and reporting. We were previously working with on-premise solutions, and we had access to a lot of things, but with the cloud, they changed a lot of functionalities. Some of the things we know, but with some of the things, we are having difficulties."
"It would be useful if we can connect Bizagi to other solutions, such as a local financial solution or Power BI. It would also be good and helpful to be able to connect Bizagi to some services solutions. It should also support right-to-left languages, such as Arabic."
"It would be helpful if they added some extra features in the next update."
"Bizagi needs a way to define categories such as process groups like the APQC framework, PCF, and handle the processes within it."
"Sometimes, when your process is big with multiple lanes, the product will freeze the issue noticed on multiple laptops, not a single PC."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Price-wise, AgilePoint is a cheap tool and a standard application for running analytics in an IT environment."
"It is more cost-effective than local tools."
"I believe the pricing has changed recently. We had purchased one license per server, and it was about $2,000. It was a one-time payment. It's possible that they have recently implemented a new cost structure and now have yearly subscriptions."
"I think the price is reasonable."
"The pricing model is good; I believe it's free for up to 20 users, and then they start charging. I hear the solution can get quite expensive, however."
"The paid version costs us about $20,000 for 100 users annually."
"If they can freeze the pricing in a contract, I advise them to do so."
"We use the free version of the solution because the price is in dollars, making it expensive for where we are in Brazil."
"I'm trying the free unlimited version with unlimited use. But you have to pay to add some features."
"It is not expensive."
"We have no issues with the pricing."
"I think that its price is reasonable."
