Sentiment score
2.0
Visio enhances efficiency by saving time and improving document quality, offering significant ROI and better project delivery experience.

Customer Service

Sentiment score

Bizagi offers responsive customer support, though response speed varies, with premium plans mitigating delays; online resources aid accessibility.
Sentiment score
5.4
Many users find Visio easy to use, often seeking support through internal resources, with mixed experiences when contacting Microsoft directly.
The toolset is very intuitive, so we didn’t need to contact their support much.
We cannot expect major customer support.
While I like Microsoft products in general, the main issue is with the licensing options and the problems associated with them.
We generally resolve issues internally within our IT department rather than contacting Microsoft's technical support.

Scalability Issues

Sentiment score
6.6
Bizagi scales well with Azure cloud support, though price and server resources affect performance in large expansions.
Sentiment score
7.5
Visio's scalability varies; ease of use and integration work well for some, but limitations exist for larger expansions.
There is no direct scalability option.
If I rate scalability from one to ten, I would probably give it a six.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
7.0
Bizagi is generally reliable but experiences occasional freezes, slow loading, and performance issues, especially with large processes or updates.
Sentiment score
8.3
Visio's enhanced stability and performance make it a reliable tool for companies, despite occasional RAM needs for large models.

Room For Improvement

Bizagi struggles with performance, licensing complexity, and inadequate integrations, hindering workflow efficiency, collaboration, and user experience.
Visio users seek enhanced templates, integration, pen support, intuitive layering, collaboration, data updates, export options, and a user-friendly interface.
For more mature environments, the integration to live systems is lacking, which affects its applicability.
Reporting capabilities can be improved more, and community support should be increased.
Visio should implement more complex tools or graphics to facilitate processing and use flexible templates.
The visual icons and shapes for different vendors like Cisco network could be improved.

Setup Cost

Bizagi provides a free modeling version, pricier enterprise features, and cloud options; smaller organizations find it valuable.
Visio pricing varies by version and licensing options, with discounts available for educational use and volume purchases.
It was less expensive than some of the other tools.
If asked to rate the price, I would give it around nine points out of ten, indicating it is somewhat expensive.

Valuable Features

Bizagi offers an intuitive interface, robust automation, strong integration, and low-code environment, enhancing process management and visualization.
Visio provides intuitive diagramming, seamless Office integration, collaboration tools, and customization, making it ideal for complex designs and automation.
It is open source.
The user interface is very good, making it easy for business people to understand.
Visio allows me to create detailed diagrams that provide value to customers by giving them a clear view of their network and devices.

Enables budget review efficiency with open source advantages and workflow orchestration
Definitely, right now, it is purely open source, and we don't have much community support. If they add a few more capabilities like AIML and DocGen AI, these features would be good. Reporting capabilities can be improved more, and community support should be increased. Otherwise, people cannot onboard that particular technology easily.

We have seen return on investment in the form of time savings but should have more design tools
I am generally using Visio to create some diagrams Visio should implement more complex tools or graphics to facilitate processing and use flexible templates. It should allow users to easily drag and drop some previously created diagrams. The tools supplied or provided are very basic, and there…

The option to load Visio is available in Studio and Modeler. If you have a lot of models, it may make sense to import. However, if you have just a handful, Modeler is very easy to use and it's probably faster and safer j...
