Global deduplication, stable, and flexible licensing options

I give the solution ten out of ten. This solution offers one dashboard to manage the BC con, disaster recovery plan, DR solution, and backup as well as different licensing options, unlike other OEM products. We are the system integrators for our clients, so we design the solution as per the customer's requirements. We provide several solutions options to our clients such as Druva inSync, Druva Phoenix, and Arcserve UDP with the specifications and the client makes a decision based on their requirements. I would advise potential users to first be clear on whether they are going to use it as a backup solution for compliance purposes, just wanting to take the backups of files and servers, or for instant recovery. The IQ and RPO discussion with our customers usually takes 30 minutes. I recommend this solution.

Key features: * Easy to install and use * Built for virtual environments * Multi-hypervisor support (Hyper-V and VMware) * Offsite backups boosted by WAN acceleration * File and Exchange item level restore * Backup live VMs with no downtime * MS VSS Integration * Cluster shared volumes aware scheduling * Restore to different Hyper-V host or clones * Central management console * Compression and encryption * Supports WS2008 R2, WS2012 and WS2012 R2 * Supports ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter Reverse Delta is Altaro proprietary backup deduplication technology. With Reverse Delta, the latest version of a file is always made available in its entirety, not as a delta file. This means that if you require the latest version of a file, it is possible to access it directly from your backup drive without having to rebuild the file from delta files. The delta files are only used if you want to build a previous version of the file; building one delta file at a time for each version as you travel back in time in the reverse direction. This works for both Hyper-V and VMware.
