ERP integration transforms automation and financial reporting with good support
I use the solution for the manufacturing process, finance, supply chains, and quality It integrates with robotic processing and automation, enhancing our process automation. It also integrates with the PLC system using Mitsubishi and with the MIS software. The solution covers all modules,…

Centralizes our enterprise-wide functions but could benefit from cloud migration
We have dealt with customer service, and it was awful. For a system this size, it felt like we were merely buying software from them. They weren't really partnered with us on it. Reporting bugs and getting feedback, as well as having engineers work on issues, was very transactional. There was no real ownership on Oracle's part. During several support cases, it became difficult to determine ownership at Oracle and get status updates. The on-premises Oracle support is not great in my experience, and I think this is true in the industry. We've read about their software as a solution, and theoretically, their SaaS portal support is a lot better.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The best feature of this solution is it comes as a complete bundle. The solution has effective project, document, and application management. Additionally, the collaboration is fantastic, it is well integrated, and can be customized."
"The best feature of this solution, is that it provides businesses with a way to see information from across different process streams, in one place via dashboards."
"LN is definitely a stable product. It's number one on Gartner's four quadrants."
"Infor LN has basically the same structure as CloudSuite Industrial, but LN has more advanced planning tools for manufacturing."
"It's fast, predicts well, and is basically the best tool in the market for the automotive industry and network planning projects."
"The most valuable feature is its ability to handle products with up to 2,500 components, making it valuable for streamlining complex business operations."
"Customer service and support are very good."
"It has strong sales, purchase, warehousing, and logistics order management."
"This is a world-class application that includes a lot of business processes from other ERPs that Oracle has acquired."
"It provides a well-centered database that is feature rich."
"Oracle E-Business Suite has over 20 different modules to choose from, it is comprehensive. Additionally, the integration is very good."
"When correctly configured, this is a very stable solution. We have customers running their process automation manufacturing based off of this solution."
"I like the automation and integration features of Oracle E-Business Suite."
"This solution offers customization. You'll have the ability to change and add your custom solutions and integrate them with the standard ones."
"It was very easy to integrate the product into our existing infrastructure."
"I like Oracle ERP for streamlining the entire process from PRTL and invoice payments. It also has the decision and internet sale order, and my customers can correct the internet decision. It automatically converts to the internet order, and they don't need to create the entry object. They don't need to make a secondary ledger in the parent company and subsidiary. That's very helpful for internet decisions. If they get an order at the parent company, it automatically creates the sales system in the subsidiary."

Cons

"The tool is expensive. It needs to refine its planning details."
"Infor LN has customer support in India, but service could be improved. So, basically, they prioritize agreements, and the number of tickets closed within a certain timeframe, not necessarily the quality or resolution of the tickets themselves. They just open and close them, sometimes without even understanding the issue. That's the biggest problem."
"The user interface is not very intuitive for newer users."
"The solution’s performance could be improved."
"Regarding areas for improvement within the solution, I would say that the solution's asset management and quality management need attention."
"It's not that intuitive."
"One area that could be improved in Omada Access Points is team communication."
"While Infor LN incorporates the latest business processes and functions, there is always room for improvement as the business grows. In the new normal, it could stand to incorporate quite a few automation processes like the RPA and utilize machine learning in the Internet of Things."
"Oracle E-Business Suite's stability could be improved as they have a lot of bugs that need to be fixed."
"It's more expensive than other options due to licensing costs and core-based hardware."
"I would like an end-to-end in terms of processes. There are different modules, however, there's not that end-to-end that we are looking for in terms of process automation."
"It requires training before you can easily use this product, so it should be easier to use."
"If you get away from the financials core of the product, it is not so good at handling peripherals."
"It would be great to see Oracle E-Business Suite become less dependent on the SAO solution, which is an integration solution for Oracle platforms."
"Oracle E-Business Suite should be more detailed and user-friendly."
"Pricing is the biggest disadvantage of Oracle."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The standard pricing is two thousand per year per user. There are no additional costs."
"The cost is somewhat high."
"The tool’s AMC and support are given on a yearly basis. You need to make monthly payments for support."
"Infor LN is a free solution, and everything is included in the package, such as add-ons."
"Only people who undergo training from the companies can learn about Infor products."
"I would say that Infor's pricing is competitive compared to other ERP solutions available in the market, such as SAP and Oracle."
"Compared to other high-end ERP software, Infor LN's cost of ownership is lower. The difference isn't huge, though."
"If you use Infor LN in Infor CloudSuite, there is a need to make an early payment for a license, which is approximately 2,500 EUR."
"I would rate the pricing a nine out of ten, with ten being very expensive."
"Oracle scales the pricing, but E-Business Suite is still very expensive for small to mid-sized businesses."
"E-Business Suite's pricing could be lower."
"This is a highly-priced application and would not be affordable for small or medium business domains."
"Oracle's pricing is on the higher end."
"Oracle's licenses are not straightforward."
"Licensing is on a yearly basis. There is an initial cost, and the standard fee is 22% per year."
"Oracle generally gives a lot of discounts."
