Integration and customization streamline complex processes for improved efficiency
The user interface in JD Edwards World is very crude; I press a button to get to the application, unlike EnterpriseOne, which offers a more finished experience with dashboards. Other software like Salesforce or Cognos offers a good user interface where users find it intuitive to navigate. It should be more accessible, even for those who have never interacted with JD Edwards World before.

Integrations Help Bring Efficiency while Documentation Needs Improvement
When I started working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, I was new and didn't know what ERP was or its purpose, but I was eager to learn more each day. The system can become overwhelmed because you cannot control the number of integrations, and our team struggled to manage the numerous integrations we had. More documentation is needed on how to use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its capabilities. From a technical perspective, it was challenging because understanding the system requires familiarity with financial sectors. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central could benefit from more AI integration. Learning the application was challenging as there was much to understand about accounts payable, receivable, accounting, and general ledger.

Cons

"The interfaces need to be more user-friendly. For example, our purchaser had difficulties updating prices as it required updating line by line."
"I would like report creation to be easier."
"The user interface in JD Edwards World is very crude; I press a button to get to the application, unlike EnterpriseOne, which offers a more finished experience with dashboards."
"There are a lot of new technologies coming out and JD Edwards World could improve by having better integration with other databases. The integration with the databases and applications should be in real-time, such as with Oracle."
"JD Edwards World is very outdated and not really supported anymore."
"There is no support from Oracle here. We only have third-party support."
"JDE World is more stable than JDE EnterpriseOne. For JDE EnterpriseOne, the Integrity part will generate some errors; since they have low Integrity, we get some duplicate records in the accumulator table."
"Its end of life is already announced, so I don't expect lots of improvement coming from the product anywhere anymore."
"The solution could include the retail tool in the native version. Currently, it is sold as a separate product."
"Some people might be disappointed to find that NAV isn't a turnkey solution."
"Batch Processing Function should be developed to schedule running in the background at nighttime for posting a Purchase Receipt/Invoice, Sales Order/Invoice, Day End Statement or Item Journal Adjustment to minimize the Classic NAV table locking."
"There is a lot of improvement needed in the top model, such as better integration with logistics, quality management, and data modeling for all revenue types."
"The security and user levels fields can be improved further so that it is not too tedious for end-user to map and set up."
"Any request that had come from the website had to go through an e-form which was then plugged into Microsoft Dynamics NAV. There was no direct data capture, and that caused delays in transactions and getting information."
"I am hoping there is more integration with other platforms, more features, and customization in the next release."
"I wouldn't say that Microsoft Dynamics is very scalable."
