Find out in this report how the two Identity Management (IM) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."It scales in terms of numbers and types of identities. It can govern the on-premise applications as well as the cloud applications. So, it can manage hybrid environments with all types of identities and various load amounts."
"We used to have a problem where an employee's access wasn't terminated when they left the company. Now, we have much better visibility into and control over who has access."
"The most valuable feature is the automatic provisioning and reconciliation of things like the Active Directory groups and memberships."
"Our customers have benefited from Omada Identity automating the certification process. Most of our customers were using manual methods for user access certification. With Omada Identity, you can automate almost all of it, which means that certification now becomes on demand. You don't have to wait for two or three months to execute a certification timeframe. Instead, you can do certifications as often as you want."
"The support response time and the freedom from strange bugs and strange things happening in the software are valuable."
"I'm not using Omada, but the interface is easy to use and gives you a solid overview of your identities."
"Omada's user interface is elegant and easy to work with. I like Omada's ability to automatically generate accounts for new hires and allow them access to all required systems by established policies. Around 80 percent of workers can start working immediately on their first day without requesting further access."
"We don't have to go in and do a lot of the work that we did before. It may have saved us somewhere in the range of 10 to 30 percent of the time we spent on provisioning access."
"In my role, the most valuable features are two-factor authentication and self-service password reset. The most helpful feature for the institution as a whole is probably the single sign-on. As an IT director, I care about security and ease of use."
"The most valuable feature is the ease with which we can manage the sign-on feature."
"The single sign-on and the fact that we can integrate everything in one place and control from there were valuable features of this solution."
"One aspect I particularly appreciate is their exceptional customer support whenever I've needed assistance."
"Ease of integration with AD."
"When it comes to access management, the solution's single pane of glass is extremely important. The single pane of glass for access management enables collaborative work between IT and security. We have access to certain applications that require device trust. Based on the role, we can access those applications through OneLogin Desktop."
"The solution's ability to save and manage of all my passwords is great."
"OneLogin is efficient."
"The product is flexible to use."
"Saviynt has a lot of potential with many features available for users."
"It gives very good and in-depth knowledge about a particular identity. Everything is through a single click. We get to know the workflows related to a particular identity with a single click."
"This product works well out of the box and if you don’t want to do a lot of configuration then this is the best tool."
"It is a flexible tool because it works on JSON."
"Saviynt is easy to configure and manage."
"It's easy to manage and easy to use; a simple tool for end-users."
"The dedicated Freshdesk platform is a user community and a step in the right direction for offering learning resources."
"Functionality and usability could be improved."
"Documentation can be improved. I have already filed a few suggestions to make documentation more clear and more representative of reality."
"They need to improve the cost for small companies."
"The user interface should have a more flexible design, where you can change it to your requirement."
"Omada's performance could be better because we had some latency issues. Still, it's difficult to say how much of that is due to Omada versus the resources used by our other vendors in our on-prem environment. Considering the resources we have invested into making it run well, it's slightly slower than we would expect."
"Omada could make it a bit more convenient to send emails based on events automatically. Having that functionality is critical for us to maintain transparency."
"What I would most like to see added to the product is role management, especially enterprise or business role management, and the processes around that."
"Omada Identity has a steep learning curve."
"We've been experiencing some pain points since the acquisition. For example, there have been some outages we didn't see previously, which are a big topic with my executive team. You have hundreds of applications relying on this service for login. If the service is unavailable, nobody can log into these applications."
"having a RESTful implementation instead of RPC would have been more desirable."
"OneLogin needs to increase the number of connectors available out of the box to connect to the different endpoints. The number of out-of-box connectors should be increased."
"While I initially used OneLogin's desktop feature to extend SSO, I discontinued it two years ago due to limitations."
"I'd like OneLogin to have a customization section that displays the company's offerings, categorized by different topics."
"To offboard, you have to manually click on this checklist, each of the checkmarks. It would actually be really nice if, for offboarding someone, you just click "offboard" and it automatically runs a script to do that."
"This product doesn't necessarily provide us with all of the functionality that we need, such as being able to share passwords with external users."
"The tool must be made more robust."
"The tool is difficult to migrate."
"The solution does not work very well as the number of users increases."
"The product lacks a broad user base which makes it difficult sometimes to find answers to questions about the product."
"The main difficulty was the integration process itself. But we were able to kind of work through it and fix it. We tried integrating with our HR system and other IBM solutions, like Microsoft Identity Management."
"In terms of improvement, it's really just a matter of them getting more mature. It's a relatively new solution and they probably need to streamline a few of the processes as they mature. But there are not too many problems."
"The custom application integration is a little complex, and this tool doesn't provide so many plugins or additional applications."
"Both SailPoint IdentityNow and Saviynt have some bugs, but SailPoint is considered more mature with fewer bugs due to its longer establishment in the market since around 2005. SailPoint had its share of bugs in the early days, but they have resolved them over time, resulting in a stable product. Saviynt, on the other hand, was launched around 2013 or 2014 and is actively working to improve its product. Despite having some bugs, Saviynt is making progress and aims to build a stable product, but it is not there yet."
"The UI doesn’t enhance the user experience."
