FortiGate Cloud's key features are the user interface and ease of access.

It would be better for us if Fortinet provided a private cloud, and they should provide more security on the public cloud. There are some minor issues with security with the public cloud. For example, anyone with a link can access the public cloud.

I've worked with FortiGate Cloud for approximately seven months.

FortiGate Cloud is stable.

FortiGate Cloud is scalable.

Fortinet support is awesome.

Setting up FortiGate Cloud is complex, but the Fortinet team completely set the solution up, so we didn't need to do anything on our end. They only gave us the username and password.

We used the Fortinet team.

I rate Fortinet FortiGate eight out of 10. 

We primarily use the solution for configuration management and network management.

The solution is very easy to use. 

The technical support is very good. You only need to have a good internet connection in order to use it.

When you login to Forticloud you get directed to the Global site, even if you are based in Europe and you have to switch manually to the European site which can be confusing when you are not familiar to Forticloud, especially in the beginning and when you want to setup your first device. This should be more like a question when you log in, are you based in the US or are you based in Europe?

I've been using the solution for four years.

The solution is stable.

The solution is fairly scalable. You can add and remove products yourself. Right now we have four users on it. At this time, we don't plan to increase usage.

Technical support is good if you ask the right questions. If you are specific, you'll be able to go straight through to the correct level of support.

We did not previously use a different solution.  We've been very satisfied with this service and don't plan to change.

There could be a lighter and improved central management system to ensure reliability during peak usage.

The initial setup process was straightforward. The deployment took approximately one week.

Our implementation strategy involved collecting information, analyzing it, connecting with users, and selecting the best security options for our organization. We then procured the firewall with the help of a vendor.

We have a maintenance license and maintain our security plans and the firewall in-house.

We evaluated Sophos Firewall. In comparison, Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is easy to use. 

We use an ecosystem of related products, including a management solution, which we have configured to manage multiple projects efficiently, enhancing our overall security posture.

I recommend Fortinet FortiGate Cloud to others and rate it an eight. 

The Fortianalyzer is the most valuable aspect of this solution.

The initial setup was straightforward as we used a third-party implementor. 

Support has been helpful. 

The analysis could be better. 

We do find we get a bit of a lag. 

The integration could be better.

Beyond that, it is meeting our needs.

My clients are using Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for network protection. 

The most valuable features of Fortinet FortiGate Cloud are the protection of internal and remote systems.

The interface and dashboards should improve in Fortinet FortiGate Cloud. Other solutions have better graphical interfaces.

We have been using Fortinet FortiGate Cloud within the past 12 months.

My advice to others is to review all the solutions in the market but I think Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is a very good solution for many use cases.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is more inexpensive than other vendors.

Based on our evaluation, Palo Alto works better than Fortinet FortiGate Cloud, particularly due to its global presence with multiple points of presence (POPs).

I don't recommend Fortinet FortiGate Cloud to others. They could improve reporting and analytics capabilities. I rate it a five out of ten.

I primarily use the solution as a firewall.

The load balancing is great.

The deployment is pretty straightforward. It’s easy to implement.

You can really drill down to specific users to get statistics around usage.

There’s a Mac address for listening that can be used for WiFi as well.

The solution is stable.

You can scale if you need to.

At the moment, everything is good. I am not missing any features. Overall, it’s working great.

If you need to scale, you do need to trade up to a new Fortinet solution.

I’ve used it for about a year now.

We haven't had any crashes yet. We do have a primary and a secondary device on the site. There's never been a situation where we had to revert to the secondary device. It’s reliable and the performance is good. It doesn’t freeze. There aren’t bugs.

It is scalable. However, if you need to get a bigger model, a higher model. You can't just do a software update and scale. You need to purchase a new FortiGate solution once your company grows to a certain point. That's the only drawback of scalability.

I've never had any issues yet, and therefore, I've never actually contacted support.

The initial setup was straightforward and pretty simple. It was not overly complex. It didn’t take long at all to get everything up and running.

I can’t speak to the exact pricing of the product.

We have a partnership with Fortinet.

The solution requires you to leave lots of room for growth when you're spec-ing your firewall solution. Don't just get the exact amount and then you are stuck with a lower model that can't support as many users. It’s better to over-assume what you will need.

I’d rate the solution an eight out of ten.

I’ve never had any issues with it yet. We've got it on three sites and it wasn't a hassle setting up. It’s also prevented me from dealing with tech support since everything works, which makes me happy.

Our company is a local reseller of Fortinet FortiGate Cloud. We use the solution for anti-spam and for checking for viruses. We send traffic to the cloud for inspection and after that, all the requests for our website with services come back to the appliance in headquarters. 

At headquarters, we have 61 users. We also have some other branches connected with headquarters.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud has helped us avoid intrusions and hacking. It is the most important service we have. 

The most valuable feature is the inspection. It inspects before we have any traffic stops intrusion.

I recommend that Fortinet FortiGate Cloud improve their rules for configuration with each other.

I have been using Fortinet FortiGate for two years.

For the last three years Fortinet FortiGate has been stable.

The solution is scalable.

Technical support is good.

The initial setup of Fortinet FortiGate required a lot of stages over a few days. We installed it first on the cloud and checked in for the request. Once we were sure that we were rejecting suspicious intrusions and traffic we made the full installation for the cloud integrated with the local system at headquarters.

We have three engineers that are responsible for deployment and maintenance.

Our team, together with Fortinet FortiGate Cloud's team completed the entire installation on the cloud and the local system.

There are no additional costs outside of the standard licensing fees.

I recommend other companies to use Fortinet FortiGate Cloud, it satisfies my requirements and it prevents a lot of hacking. I rate this solution as an 8 out of 10.
