We use this solution cloud-based platform to manage our networks.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud has improved our organization's branches by providing overall better connectivity and security for all our networks.

I have found the SD-WAN, flexibility, and security the most valuable features.

Fortinet could improve FortiGate Cloud by providing better integration with third-party applications and features.

I have been using this solution within the past 12 months.

The stability is good.

We have approximately 10 people using the FortiGate cloud.

The technical support is very good in my experience.

The initial setup was easy. 

We have a team of four people that does the implementation and maintenance of the solution.

When comparing this solution to others it is less expensive and there is an annual license required.

There are different options available and it is important to choose a package that fits your use case. Overall this is a great solution.

I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a ten out of ten.

I use the solution to respond to our SD-WAN requirements and to protect different links that access the resources. For example, if the user needs access to an application, then we use SD-WAN for access to the internet or to the cloud.

The security features, for example, URL filtering, AMP, and advanced threat protection, are very valuable.

I also like that Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is cheaper than other solutions, such as Cisco.

The capacity to execute the solution needs to be improved.

I would like to see management and analytics included in the solution.

I've been using it for four years. It's on-premises and is integrated to the cloud.

It's very stable; it's a decent solution.

The scalability is not good because there have been many barriers to scaling. It's possible that our current model won't support future increases in the load and traffic.

We currently have 3000 users including IT and network engineers.

Technical support has got better, and I would give them a ten out of ten.

It's easy to set up the solution, and I would give it five out of five. In general, it takes about one to two months, and in our case, it took two months.

Our deployment plan was to optimize the connection, and we did it in-house. For deployment and maintenance, we are a part of a team of five engineers.

Fortinet has a good price, and I would give it a four out of five. There are no additional fees.

We evaluated Cisco and Palo Alto before going with Fortinet FortiGate Cloud.

Cisco is good in terms of networking and SD-WAN, but it's not good with regard to security. Last year, Cisco was not in Gartner's Quadrant for security, but Fortinet and Palo Alto were leaders.

Palo Alto is very good and very strong in SD-WAN and in security, but the cost is prohibitive in some locations.

Fortinet has a good price.

My experience with Fortinet FortiGate Cloud has been good. It's easy to deploy, and it has a lot of information on the web to configure it.

I would rate the solution at eight on a scale from one to ten because of the ease of deployment, the many security features in the same appliance, and the fact that there are no additional costs for protection at base level to enterprise level. It's a good solution to begin perimeter protection.

We've implemented this solution for our clients. 

We are customers of Fortinet and I'm the company owner. 

The solution works well for remote or branch offices with unlimited links. That's where we've found the most benefit.

I'd like to see some configuration changes. The speed seems to be a little better than it was previously but it could still be improved. I'd also like to see a little more provisioning or training on the different scenarios and functions and features. And obviously the price point; it's a tough market out there these days, so for some of our smaller customers the price is quite steep. 

We have contacted support a couple of times and they're pretty good. It takes a little while to get hold of them but once you do, they're very knowledgeable and they're helpful. We got bounced around for a while so it took time to get to somebody that could actually answer our question as opposed to continually being redirected. We were on site with our clients and it took us a couple of hours to make contact. It wasn't critical.

We are using the solution to be able to manage everything from the cloud.

The ability to manage everything from the cloud is going to be the most valuable by far with this solution.

Currently with the solution, if you want to manage more than one FortiGate you have to use a VM, and a VM can control up to 10. You need to have a license for each one and it is confusing. Other solutions like Meraki is much more seamless. Easier usability and improving their WebDewey would benefit also.

I have been using the solution for a couple of months.

The overall setup was complex.

It will take us six weeks to implement 20 sites.

I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a six out of ten.

I am a consultant and this is one of the solutions that I provide to my customers.

I am familiar with Sandboxing services and some of the other features. This solution is mainly used for securing events.

The sandboxing feature is very important.

I would like to see a SIEM bundled together with this because customers are looking into better reporting and more proactive security solutions.

In the next release, it would benefit this solution to have more advanced monitoring capabilities such as predictive analysis and reporting.

I have been using FortiCloud for five or six years.

We have not come across any problems with stability.

With respect to scalability, we have had no problems whatsoever.

We have been in contact with the Fortinet technical support a couple of times, although it has been for hardware-related issues and had nothing to do with our configuration. One of our customers had hardware that was failing quite often.

The technical support is pretty good and so far, we have no complaints.

This initial setup is pretty straightforward. I don't think that it is complex.

The entire firewall implementation will take a couple of days, maximum. This is with everything, all together.

Some of our customers purchase yearly licenses, while others purchase subscriptions that are three years in length. The price is over $1,000 USD annually.

FortiCloud helps to enhance the security posture of any organization, and I definitely recommend looking into it.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

Fortinet is what we use for our firewall and we get reports from FortiCloud. We use those to see the state of our network. We generally use it for reporting purposes whereby we see what's happening on our network at the end of each day or week.

The solution is definitely stable, which is its most valuable feature.

It's easy to use and the fact that I can schedule the report to come to my inbox at set times is very convenient for me.

The solution should allow users to keep the data for longer than the current periods. I can't get any historic data after more than a month. I would like to be able to, after a year, look for trends from the past 12 months. It would make things much easier.

I've been using the solution for about a year.

The solution is quite stable. I haven't run into any issues where there were unexpected crashes or glitches.

I've never attempted to scale the solution, so I'm not sure how easy or difficult it would be to expand if one needed to.

We only have five people using the solution currently. They're all admin and support level individuals.

So far, we've been satisfied with technical support.

We didn't previously use a different solution. This is the first time we've implemented a product like this.

The initial setup was straightforward. I didn't find there were any complexities.

Deployment only took a few minutes and then it was ready to use.

I handled the implementation myself.

We use the latest version of the solution.

I'd recommend the solution. It's working really well for us and is completely meeting our expectations.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

Our primary use case is for small or medium-sized organizations that simplify their operations through connections in the cloud.

The most valuable features are management and integration.

I would like to see more reporting from the analysis improved in the future.

I have been working with Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for the past six years.

We have not identified any stability issues up to this point.

I think it is scalable for the small and medium companies that we work with.

In Portugal, we have direct support from Fortinet FortiGate Cloud because we are well served here in terms of support from their team in Portugal. It is very good and we have a close relationship with them.

We use Palo Alto and Prism Cloud as competitive solutions.

The initial setup is straightforward and fast if you have the Fortinet FortiGate Cloud infrastructure.

The price fits the needs of our clients and it is adjustable by Defender.

I would recommend Fortinet FortiGate Cloud. If you have an infrastructure based on other vendors, you should also evaluate other solutions. I would rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a seven on a scale of one to ten.

We are a system integrator and we integrate Fortinet solutions for our clients.

Our customers use this technology as part of their network infrastructure. For example, it is responsible for connecting university campuses together.

Our customers implement this solution so that they can be assured of security in their environment.

I would like to see better integration with other technologies.

The stability is very good.

One of our clients has approximately 5,000 users.

The technical support from Fortinet Brazil is very good. They provide extra support for partners and they provide us with great reports.

The initial setup is complex because the customer is using several technologies, and it is a matter of security. A typical deployment will take between three and four months.

The choice of deployment model, whether public or private cloud, depends on the customer.

We have an in-house team for deployment and maintenance. We have engineers on staff.

We implement many different Fortinet products for our customers including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiOS. In the future, we are planning on working with FortiSIEM.
