Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Great threat response, provides for proactivity, and has automated threat identification
In terms of the Pakistani market and talking from a salesperson's perspective, I'd suggest that Kaspersky introduce a bundle of Kaspersky EDR-Optimum or Kaspersky EDR-Expert along with its Business Select/Advance suite. When I say this, I understand the Pakistani market and how slow and less eager organizations are to invest in IT and internet security. Most of them don't invest until or unless they face any attack or network failure. However, in addition to the product, Kaspersky should give EDR-Optimum on the cloud for less than 300 users as well, in case any customer has its whole network on the cloud. That way they can easily use it.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Protection is the most valuable feature."
"The fact that it is almost plug and play means the policies I have to define are not very complicated."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"The most valuable features of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security are remote administration and deployment, comprehensive firewall protection, malware protection, and antivirus."
"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"Virus scan and the ability to remotely install are valuable features. Being able to manage everything in one place and set different policies and rules for different computer types are very useful features. It also has ransomware protection. It is very simple to use, and it is very effective."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"The product provides a single dashboard."
"I mostly like how they capture particular files and submit them to other files, and they have the solution console. And for example, we are using the one in for an application, like, on the RansomFree, if there are any vulnerabilities in patches coming, in the future, they fix these."
"Support has been helpful."
"The solution is very user friendly, which we appreciate."
"What we like most about Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is its prompt response. We also like that it does scans on a daily basis, over every laptop or machine we set it for, and it also generates the report daily."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is effective, especially in isolating computers from the network when needed."
"The product's most valuable feature is the flexibility of installation with the console and a simple administration strategy."
"The most beneficial aspect of Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is its protection capabilities, followed by its device management capabilities. The ability to remotely install software is highly advantageous, making it a convenient and helpful feature."
"The solution's most valuable features are the advanced detection and anti-theft features."

Cons

"The tool needs to improve patch and vulnerability management."
"Overall, Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is quite good. It always has new features which customers can use for free, so I can't say that something is missing in the solution, though one area for improvement is that the cloud version of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security still can't connect to a central SIEM. The on-premises version has that capability, but the cloud version doesn't."
"The solution's stability could be better."
"It could be simplified a little bit for firewall rules and blocking specific IP addresses. It would be nice to have an option to upload a CSV or XLSX file of IP addresses to be blacklisted or to be able to specify a range as attempted logins from botnets and people attempting to access network accounts is an increasing issue across the board."
"The security features as per customers' requirements should be improved."
"The price has increased marginally recently and I would prefer if they didn't raise rates."
"Potential areas for improvement could be more accessible and immediate support for critical situations, especially considering the regulatory challenges in healthcare."
"The connection with the controller needs improvement. Some connections are currently unstable."
"Occasionally, I encounter connection problems, and the signal is not very good."
"To increase the benefits of the product, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service from Kaspersky should be included."
"I want the tool’s pricing to improve."
"The solution needs to give more control to users on firewalls."
"We face challenges with the automated effective awareness platform program (ASAP), particularly with its implementation. It is difficult and not effective for us yet."
"The technology grows day by day, so we need to check for updates and do the updates daily. Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is still improving over time and quality-wise, there are still things that need to be changed in the product, so that's why I rated it nine out of ten. Compatibility could also be improved in the product."
"We have had some issues updating Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum."
"The application should be made a bit lighter so that it does not slow down the PC."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"The price is fair."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"The tool's pricing structure is good. We use an annual subscription."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"The pricing is reasonable when I compare it to other security solutions, particularly Kaspersky, it stands out. It offers an excellent solution at a more favorable price point."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"The price is good, not too high."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is affordability, even for companies with limited budgets, such as those in the Pakistani market. It is a subscription-based license."
"The solution could be made a bit cheaper."
"The pricing is totally reasonable."
"Kaspersky gives a consolidated price with a good solution. If we choose something else, we need to add other options on our own."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum is more affordable than the endpoint security product of Fortinet. Whether it's worth the money depends on your security strategy."
"I would rate the product's pricing a nine out of ten. You need to pay about 80,000 rupees yearly for the tool. There are no additional costs associated with the product."
"The tool’s pricing is yearly. The solution’s pricing is expensive."
