Offers unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email
My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem. Recent versions shouldn't be a problem with at least 16GB of RAM. Bitdefender should have its own app security built in. After integrating SIEM solutions and log collecting, they could have app security built on top of that. For each application, especially when dealing with financial data, if there was an option for data breach control, that would be fantastic. Because nowadays, people are using the internet from home, and we don't know what network they're connecting to. For situations where the network security is questionable, having a security control built into the antivirus would be essential. It's a common requirement nowadays.

Easy to setup, stable and good security use cases
I primarily use this solution for security.  I appreciate the good control it offers, which simplifies management. So, I feel confident using this solution. We need a more complete Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. I have been using Kaspersky for eight years. I use the latest version.  I…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We find the protection the solution provides valuable."
"The solution is very scalable."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"The cloud console is good and the tool is effective in protection."
"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"It is perfectly stable. We haven't received any complaints from customers regarding stability or performance. It's been smooth sailing so far."
"The product is a good standard security tool."
"Protection is the most valuable feature."
"I like the security that this solution provides."
"The signature update is done securely."
"The antivirus feature is very, very good."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security protects against viruses and dangerous software, and it's also great because it has a component that is useful for the deployment of software versions to the end user's computer."
"We used to have a lot of phishing attacks and all these kind of things for end-users so we decided that we needed endpoint security. We evaluated some solutions and found that Kaspersky is the most appropriate in terms of endpoint security and the speed of the user machine. The encryption is a major factor from our end."
"The most valuable features include the ability to upgrade and update all users from one console and to install the solution remotely."
"The solution is user-friendly and the dashboard is good."
"The interface is friendly."

Cons

"The firewall capabilities could benefit from an upgrade since it lacks a high level of granularity and control."
"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"Overall, Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is quite good. It always has new features which customers can use for free, so I can't say that something is missing in the solution, though one area for improvement is that the cloud version of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security still can't connect to a central SIEM. The on-premises version has that capability, but the cloud version doesn't."
"The solution must be more user-friendly."
"It could be simplified a little bit for firewall rules and blocking specific IP addresses. It would be nice to have an option to upload a CSV or XLSX file of IP addresses to be blacklisted or to be able to specify a range as attempted logins from botnets and people attempting to access network accounts is an increasing issue across the board."
"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"The live monitoring service from Bitdefender's center is expensive and has room for improvement."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security could have more visibility and threat hunting. Right now, if it detects a file, it's quarantined, and then we can't find more details other than the path and the file name. We don't see what process it's warning off and how the virus got in. So, the reporting on the quarantined items, why were they quarantined, etc., could be improved."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business needs an easier mechanism for updates."
"Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business should improve its reporting. There are also some issues in the cloud portal. The solution's pricing can be cheaper."
"The reporting portion of the solution is quite weak."
"The application running speed consumes that of RAM, so performance speed is an issue."
"The solution could use better reporting."
"Reaching their support team can be difficult."
"The threat intelligence features are not up to date."

"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"The tool is expensive."

"The cost of the solution is approximately $31,000 for three years."
"I don't remember exactly what the licenses cost, but it's not too expensive. It's affordable, especially when you are dealing with on-prem. However, I don't know about the new prices because we are in the process of buying support."
