Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

The solution provides endpoint detection and response with a nice-looking dashboard
The solution is easily scalable because it's in the cloud and we can push the agents using our Cafea solution. We can even deploy the applications to our remote branches easily. We currently have four people using the solution and if the number of computers increases we can scale up by increasing the number of licenses.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The cloud console is good and the tool is effective in protection."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"Virus scan and the ability to remotely install are valuable features. Being able to manage everything in one place and set different policies and rules for different computer types are very useful features. It also has ransomware protection. It is very simple to use, and it is very effective."
"Security for malware and threats is the most valuable feature."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"The web control and the application control are two good features."
"The product is stable and has a user-friendly dashboard. It has good security features."
"We were concerned about the threat posed by malware. The product's effectiveness in addressing this threat and capturing it within the network has been quite helpful."
"The most valuable features of Sophos EPP Suite are the detection capability, machine learning, ransomware protection, and live response."
"In terms of the Firewall, the EAP assist, the simple interface and the reporting features are quite good for clients. It's very easy to understand and to navigate the Dashboard."
"The product is stable."
"The solution's most valuable aspect, for us, is the DLP portion of the product."
"It was successful in preventing malware distribution."

Cons

"The firewall capabilities could benefit from an upgrade since it lacks a high level of granularity and control."
"They've got all this training that's available, but it involves stuff that doesn't really encompass the solution as a whole."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"Sometimes the response from Technical Support takes more time than usual because level three support is not in Brazil."
"The solution must be more user-friendly."
"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"The price has increased marginally recently and I would prefer if they didn't raise rates."
"There is room for improvement in CPU utilization."
"Deployment and central management need to be improved."
"The management console need improvement."
"The only drawback is that it requires a little more system configuration."
"The solution could be more stable."
"We use cloud services quite a bit. Therefore, I would like to see integration with other security tools besides endpoint so that I'm not managing different tools separately. I would prefer to have a single security solution for my laptop and for managing other security things like passwords."
"In the next release, I would like to see the phishing attached included in the firewall."
"One area for improvement in Sophos EPP Suite is the support response time, particularly of the management team. It could be faster because I only got a response from the manager after a few days. If you open a case directly from the website, the response from the technical support agent may have been faster. I didn't open the request from the website, so that could be the reason why the response time took longer."
"The product is not secured and doesn't offer a fast connection."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"The tool's pricing structure is good. We use an annual subscription."
"The license is yearly."
"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"We are on an annual license to use the solution."
"When compared to Fortinet, the renewal and subscription is quite expensive."
"Sophos is cheaper than some competing products."
"My company has a yearly license agreement with Sophos EPP Suite."
"The product is inexpensive, and we receive good discount offers from our product partners."
"The solution's cost is reasonable."
"The solution is expensive."
"Pricing could always be lower. It costs around $120 per seat per year."
