Good patch management and remote control but needs better support
Our agency did not have any way to manage the actual computers we provided our users. The tech support team would take such a long time to get to a user because they had to physically walk to every office to support the client.  The primary use case for this product was to have a solution in place…

Improves productivity and allows team collaboration in organizations
Previously, my company did not use a unified communication tool. For unified communication, my company started to use Microsoft 365 Business. My company used to use technology like Slack for team collaboration. My company used to use local products to manage emails. My company had a totally different license for Office 365. Microsoft 365 Business was chosen by our company as a solution to combine everything. My company does not use a similar technology, like Microsoft 365 Business. In general, my company improved by moving away from disintegrated technologies, and now we are able to integrate different technologies using Microsoft 365 Business.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution's stability is better than the other solutions in the market."
"Its cross-platform capabilities and the ability to do both OS-level patching and third-party patching are valuable. It is difficult to find a software product that will do all that for you out of the box, and you don't have to do any configuration other than your initial setup. Once you do that, there is a very minimalistic approach to getting it operational. You can have it up and running within a 20-minute time span."
"The ability to patch my servers and endpoints is the most important for me. However, this feature is more pronounced in ManageEngine Desktop Central."
"The centralized control of all of our Windows hardware that this solution offers has been most valuable to our organization."
"Has good functionality and is user-friendly."
"In terms of technical capability, it is doing very well. It is doing better than other industry products. It is at a place where we can compare it with Microsoft products. Its scalability is also good."
"The patch management aspect of the solution is the most valuable part for us."
"The solution is stable."
"I use the solution for my daily work."
"Some of the functionality is very easy to use."
"Overall, I have found it to be a good, reliable product."
"The product is flexible and easy to use."
"Microsoft Business 365 is quite stable."
"It is easy to deploy and do the settings. It has also been stable."
"Since most of our employees are familiar with Microsoft solutions Microsoft 365 Business is very easy to use for everyone."
"The solution is quite friendly."

Cons

"Improvement should be done as per customer requirements."
"The MDM feature isn't very good. It doesn't support Amazon vendors."
"ManageEngine Desktop Central is very limited. When you scan your system, it will only recognize Microsoft Windows Defender and BitLocker."
"It is compatible with the systems such as Windows and Mac but not with Linux systems."
"In relation to ManageEngine Endpoint Central, ManageEngine NGAV seems to be completely useless right now."
"There is a slight delay in customer support, which is something that can be improved."
"Many features in Desktop Central are licensed separately. It would be more convenient if they could organize these tools into a single package."
"Its licensing should be improved."
"At times, the OneDrive lags, so the performance can be improved."
"The solution needs to offer more integration capabilities with other systems and applications."
"The solution could have better email automation."
"Sometimes it is quite hard to get a grasp on what features are going to be available at what time. For instance, we had to wait for a very long time on the breakout rules in Teams. There is a roadmap and there are also some blog posts, but you never know when you're going to get it. So it would be preferable to get it more in advance."
"They should offer better support for iOS devices and more regular updates for iOS, as it's working pretty well for Microsoft solutions and for Windows systems, yet it does not work quite as well for iOS."
"The SMTP should be easier to use and navigate."
"Upgrading from the old version to the new version of Microsoft Teams created a lot of issues for small companies and larger enterprises."
"Outlook should tie into a backend database and everything should be done in the Outlook screen."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Choose wisely between the Professional and Enterprise editions, based on your needs."
"The product is not costly. The product is properly priced, especially for SMBs."

"The licensing is very easy to understand and pricing is right for what you get."
"The price is moderate."
"The product is cheap."

"Everything is offered as a bundle package."
"Microsoft 365 Business is expensive."
"The price is fine."
"There is an annual license to use this solution."
"It could be cheaper. Its licensing is on a yearly basis."
