The solution is used for the documentation and visualization of the main processes. The customers have hundreds or thousands of processes, but they start with the top 20 processes. The next step is to integrate data points or measure data points within the process to know whether this is what we wanted to design for this process.

The solution is also used for process simulation to calculate if we need to add one more cashier for the checkout, which would be just an accelerated cash-out situation for the customer. With process mining, we get more detailed information about the process or the data behind or within this process.

The solution's most beneficial feature is the 360 approach, where documentation, process mining, simulation, and automation capabilities are in one solution. This helps large customers that have special departments to work with special modules. Small customers or one person working with every module can go through everything behind this. It's very scalable and helps small, big, or enterprise businesses in every situation.

The solution has a huge simulation module that can not only simulate data but further define and simulate non-digital assets. For example, you have two desks and only one printer for the bot tickets at the airport. With this, you can simulate how many people can work through until you're running into a bottleneck, where you only have one printer and not two printers.

The solution's 360 approach brings together everything in one place, including design, process mining to get real data, simulation, and automation. This means there's a never-ending circle instead of a straight line that starts at one point and stops at another. There's always optimizing, recovering, and starting again to optimize every time, and so on.

This is the overall strategy behind the 360 approach. The solution's process mining is also very powerful. While other vendors focus only on process mining, iGrafx Process360 Live Platform has the capability to predict time or cost. This is something very unique in this space.

iGrafx Process360 Live Platform is a very powerful tool for customizing the landing page and all other pages. We can integrate unlimited pages within this tool and expand its capabilities, including how it looks, how you can integrate logos or special colors, etc.

The solution is much more flexible and capable than other vendors. However, the customers sometimes don't care about it because they are looking for rudimentary features. They don't consider how the tool can help them to have the same UI as the internal websites.

The solution, iGrafx, is used in my company globally as a BPM solution. I use iGrafx since I am involved in process or service modeling for my company.

My company uses iGrafx for web modeling and iGrafx FlowCharter's desktop version, apart from the solution's other functionalities, like iGrafx Process for Six Sigma, process governance, and process mining. We use iGrafx in our company mainly for level 4 process modeling and level three service modeling. Other teams in my company use iGrafx to identify and apply Six Sigma tools and techniques.

The solution mainly helps organizations standardize their processes, define documents, analyze, and simplify them, so any organization can use the solution for much deeper purposes. Then, the overall organization-wide repository of processes can be maintained in iGrafx's web repository platform. Overall, it provides an excellent opportunity to standardize all the processes across the different lines of business and different service processes, including all lines of business for the organization. It's a world-class BPM solution.

I use the solution in my company to do implementations for our clients. My company implements software for our clients. My company's clients use the tool for process mining, process modeling, and analysis.

The most valuable feature of the solution stems from the fact that it allows the integration of KPIs into processes and monitoring them. One is that traditionally, organizations that are less mature look at the tool like a process repository, wherein they keep all the processes updated so that any audit and any compliance-related issues get managed easily with iGrafx Process360 Live Platforms. As companies mature, they realize that they need to start measuring the process KPIs, and it is where the tool even supports the measurement of KPIs, creating scorecards and dashboards, and then linking the process parameters directly from the enterprise systems, after which you get live dashboards of process parameters, and it gives you a quick view of which process has a problem. You also have linked in the live dashboards the process owners and who are the sponsors of the process or who all are responsible for it. You can drill down to a deeper level with the tool and then assign tasks and do the activities. The aforementioned integration gives its users a far deeper insight into the tool.

My role in my organization is designer and architect. I use iGrafx for process design and process management.

iGrafx is a tool used to implement BPM process management. It streamlines our process and also assists in improving the process.

iGrafx gives you the capability of documenting your process and then the ability to use it as a tool for analysis to identify the loopholes and shortcomings of your process.

My primary use case of this solution is for charting the processes in relation to the ISO 9000 standard, as far as the process goes. I try to use it as extensively as I can. If I see that a process flow chart is appropriate for any documentation, I try to use that instead of writing a procedure. We are customers of iGrafx and I'm a quality manager. 

The solution has helped our organization because instead of writing long documentation for the shop floor, flow charts make it more attractive for the staff to follow up on and carry out procedures. It's easier to explain things to the people on the floor. 

There are a number of features in iGrafx, which are very useful. Primarily, the usage, the enterprise object usage, is something which is in iGrafx that I appreciate. You can link various objects and reuse enterprise objects or artifacts. That reduces duplication and can really help streamline processes.

With iGrafx, the implementation and the licensing were pretty complex. Now they have simplified it, so that problem has lessened. They had a very elaborate setup. Depending on the implementation type of module and type of users, they had different account types to be created. It used to get pretty hard to convince people to use it based on what is required. However, luckily, they simplified it.

iGrafx is working on integrating a process mining tool as part of the solution itself. I'm looking forward to that. We’re excited to get to the point where you can build the processes from the data which you have from the other systems.

There are other process modeling and process mapping software apps, and iGrafx is one of the more complete, capable platforms.

However, we went with iGrafx, because it is one of only two that have an IDEF0 platform.

It is the most basic, most fundamental proposition in all of business: The reason an enterprise exists – every business enterprise, certainly every home building enterprise – is to make money; the way an enterprise makes money is by delivering value to its customers and other stakeholders. That value can only be delivered through the work the enterprise performs. That work has to be performed in some manner of workflow and the most common form of that workflow is work performed in processes.

Make money by delivering value through the work you perform in processes.

I use it for a couple of things. It's mainly for plotting workflows in our organization, and we also use it as a repository for all the properties and the documents. 

It's also used in our approval process cycle. I'm dealing with a lot of the departments, many teams, and each team has to approve a process for themselves and share it across the company.

The solution is on-premise.

Teams in our company can access everything in the repository through the web interface of our company's intranet.
