Identifies and automates repetitive tasks to eliminate human error and save time
Pros and Cons
  • "It saves our clients a lot of time."
  • "I think they need to work more on producing low code to make it more end-user-friendly."

What is our primary use case?

We implement this solution for our customers.

Let's say we have a client that needs to work on two systems or has to enter certain transactions within two systems. Thanks to this solution, now they can enter this information using one system — they can automatically copy these transactions into that access system. Some of our clients have thousands of transactions per month that they automate through UiPath.

How has it helped my organization?

It saves our clients a lot of time. Considering the amount of time they used to spend and the number of errors made, this solution has helped them a lot — It's made them more accurate. This solution saves them thousands of hours every month.

What needs improvement?

It's too early to say as we've only been working with this solution for six months. However, the main issue I have is with its programming. I think they need to work more on producing low code to make it more end-user-friendly. I think there's a big dependency on developers and technical teams in the background.

For how long have I used the solution?

We've been working with this solution for roughly six months.

Great implementation strategy, good support that is responsive, but the infrastructure setup could be simplified
Pros and Cons
  • "The most valuable feature is that it improves our processes and it deploys automation at a cheaper price, higher efficiency, and accuracy."
  • "There is always a challenge with the infrastructure set up for the client."

What is our primary use case?

Process Mining helps us to understand how our processes have been built. From that, we can analyze and make the necessary improvements, so that we can be more productive.

UiPath Process Mining is not the only tool the client is using, but Process Mining is something that we would use as an add-on to what we have.

For example, if we are using UiPath Studio with five production boards and running it on different systems, then running five different processes, Process Mining can help us to understand how these processes are working, and help us to analyze if there is any room for improvement, or needs any changes to be more accurate and more efficient.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is that it improves our processes and it deploys automation at a cheaper price, higher efficiency, and accuracy.

UiPath has a great implementation strategy. They will release the beta version eventually, but they always have implemented it within the next month. They have a new release for each and every product within one to two months.

That's how they build these processes and build these products. When you see or get a new product, it's an enhancement of what we have in the previous version.

They are always improving, which is a good thing.

What needs improvement?

There is always a challenge with the infrastructure set up for the client. Setting up the server is something that might be difficult. It needs to be simplified to make it easier to install the tools and start working on the automation.

How are customer service and technical support?

The UiPath technical support is good. If we have any questions, they have a separate team to address any questions that we may have. Once we raise a ticket with the help center, they will reach out to us based on the priority of the ticket and then try to resolve it.

If there is something that they are not able to sort out, they will get more involved and do a screen share to help us resolve the issues.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is similar to the RPA processes that we build.

It's not a complex setup, it's easy.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate UiPath Process Mining a seven out of ten.

A good technology that is revolutionizing our financial processes
Pros and Cons
  • "This technology as a whole is really revolutionizing our finances."
  • "Process Mining still has to mature somewhat."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use UiPath for the automation of our financial systems. The use cases include invoicing, billing, and other financial processes.

What is most valuable?

This technology as a whole is really revolutionizing our finances.

What needs improvement?

Process Mining still has to mature somewhat.

There is a bit of a concern about being able to use this on a mobile device.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Process Mining for approximately the past three months.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

This product is 100% enterprise-scalable.

We have between 15 and 20 users, but it is being used by the entire financial division, which affects up to 150 staff.

How was the initial setup?

This is a cloud-based deployment so it was very easy to set up with no installation. I find that to be very important, these days.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We began our evaluation with Blue Prism. We used it only on a very small scale for the purpose of evaluating it. We felt that it was too old, as it was one of the first products on the market, and we wanted something more modern.

After that, we discovered Automation Anywhere, which was much better, and then we decided to also look at UiPath. AA has a very good local partner for support. The company is quick to respond, and the issues have been dealt with very quickly.

UiPath and Automation Anywhere are very similar, but ultimately, we decided to go with Automation Anywhere.

What other advice do I have?

UiPath Process Mining is very good, and absolutely a product that I can recommend. That said, it still has to mature somewhat.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

Good stability and scalability and enables us to do product docking
Pros and Cons
  • "I use this solution for product mining and docking."
  • "That depends whether I can get the input information to explain why the exceptions are happening. Is it because of different policies or incorrect procedure being applied? If that information would also being integrated as part of it, it would make my life easier."

What is our primary use case?

I use this solution for product mining and docking.

What is most valuable?

The valuable features really depend on your particular use case. We can easily identify based on your needs and prioritize accordingly.

What needs improvement?

Improvement depends on whether I can get the input information to explain why the exceptions are happening. Is it because of different policies or incorrect procedures being applied? If that information would also be integrated as part of it, it would make my life easier.

How the input is received from the medium and assimilated is important. The kind of application that we are using to process the particular process also plays a role.

I would like to know what the exceptions are when they occur. Is it because of the process selected needs or is it because of policy, legal issues, or incorrect procedural obligation? That would really help me.

In general, if they can provide the exceptions, as well as why those exceptions are happening from the input side and what applications had been used to process the information, it would be much easier for me.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

This is a stable product.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

ProcessGold is definitely scalable.

What other advice do I have?

You should integrate this solution with process re-engineering also. For example, right now we have more focus on automation and intelligent automation in the UI path. At certain times, it can be costly to do automation or real-time automation. A customer might be looking towards the future.

I would rate this solution as eight out of ten.

Quick to develop, easy to learn, and requires very little maintenance
Pros and Cons
  • "Its speediness is most valuable. It is quick to develop. It is also quick and easy to learn."
  • "Its license structure is complex."

What is our primary use case?

We are automating some manual work with it. We are working with its latest version.

What is most valuable?

Its speediness is most valuable. It is quick to develop. It is also quick and easy to learn.

What needs improvement?

Its license structure is complex.

In terms of features, there isn't anything missing at this time.

For how long have I used the solution?

We are a partner, and we have been working with this solution for three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It is very stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is scalable.

How are customer service and support?

Their support is good.

How was the initial setup?

Its setup is straightforward. It is very fast to implement. It typically just takes days.

In terms of maintenance, it requires very little maintenance.

What other advice do I have?

I would advise others to think of its use cases before they start implementing it. They should use it for the right things.

I would rate it an eight out of 10.

  • "I have found UiPath Process Mining to be a very complex tool to use. They could improve the OCR recognition feature."

What is most valuable?

I have found the most valuable features to be virtualization, multi-user, developer tools, API analytics, and workflow management.

What needs improvement?

I have found UiPath Process Mining to be a very complex tool to use. They could improve the OCR recognition feature.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Process Mining for approximately two years.

We are able to present processes clearly to the business, but it is complex to use
Pros and Cons
  • "The reporting features of ProcessGold are the most valuable. It creates things in a manner by which they can be easily represented to the business. Business can easily understand what actually happened in the process."
  • "The product has to be simplified because there are some facets that are just too complex. It's not easy for everyone to understand. You have to do training on ProcessGold and then you can use it."

What is our primary use case?

We have an order-entry application. We use ProcessGold to record all the steps that we have to perform to create an order. It helps us to create a static record from which we can use a UiPath bot.

How has it helped my organization?

The reporting features of ProcessGold are the most valuable. It creates things in a manner by which they can be easily represented to the business. Business can easily understand what actually happened in the process. So the layout and presentation of processes is very good. The UI is also useful for showing certain areas to the business.

What is most valuable?

The product has to be simplified because there are some facets that are just too complex. It's not easy for everyone to understand. You have to do training on ProcessGold and then you can use it.

What needs improvement?

I would like to see more enhancements to the recording feature. Also, more logic-based conditions and flows should be shown.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Process Gold for two to three months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

There have been some crashes when we are doing the recording part of the process. And sometimes the system will lag. But they have been improving it and I think it will get better with more iterations.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is expandable. I would give it and eight out of 10 on scalability.

Right now there are only two people using this solution in our organization, but we are planning to increase the number when we add more components to the specification. Our users are in the admin department. Our intention is to add more managers to the solution.

How are customer service and technical support?

They are really good with their technical support. They respond to us on time. I would rate them at nine out of 10 on support. They reach us within 24 hours and, most of the time, they are able to give us a solution. There are times when they have not been able to find a solution. But in general, they are good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before Process Gold we were trying to build our own solution. It did things like ProcessGold does, like record all the steps from the user system. We tried to use it to create a flow which we could show to the business and illustrate the steps users are performing.

But there were problems, including some scalability issues with our internal project and our internal model. We are not going with that solution and that's why we are using ProcessGold.

How was the initial setup?

The initial phase is complex.

What about the implementation team?

We did it by ourselves. We set up a team and trained them in ProcessGold and then we started developing.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We did not evaluate any other solutions.

What other advice do I have?

The solution will be helpful for a person who has some admin and some managerial experience, but it won't be helpful for a person who has a technical background.

Straightforward to set up, easy to use, and works well for our financial process
Pros and Cons
  • "The most valuable feature is the user interface, which makes it easy to use for tasks like configuring resources."
  • "This is not a perfect tool, as there are things that should be improved."

What is our primary use case?

We are working with this tool to automate our financial processes.

As a solution provider, we are looking to start marketing RPA solutions such as UiPath to our customers, but at this point, we have only used it to automate one of our own financial processes. We will be using our automation as an example.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is the user interface, which makes it easy to use for tasks like configuring resources.

What needs improvement?

This is not a perfect tool, as there are things that should be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

We are evaluating UiPath Process Mining.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

UiPath is pretty stable and it has been good for us.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is straightforward.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We are using the Community Version of UiPath and have only a single process automated. At this point, we are just testing and treating it as a PoC, so we do not have immediate plans to acquire licenses.

What other advice do I have?

Overall, this product is very useful.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
