Zimbra is a cheap and open-source tool. It provides security, which is crucial for user authentication and authorization. It also offers robust support options, including access to expert assistance.

One of the premium features was customized rooms tailored to the collaboration needs. Many of the clients customize features such as organization logos and scanners. 

Just using ZCS 8.0.9 as email solution for about 60,000 users, with a big email data of 60 Tb (60,000 users * 1 Tb/user)

Security & performance issues (60,000 user):

- Don't support or guide how to integrate with MFA (Multi-factor Authentication)

- Backup & Recovery for 60 Tb email data is hard (60,000 users * 1 Tb/user); no effective solution for backup & recovery for such a case.

- Don't support DLP (Data Loss Prevention) solution.

- HA (High Availability): just support at the server (VMs) layer, don't support at the service layer.

- It is hard to upgrade ZCS 8.0.9 to ZCS 8.8.15 OSE .

Zimbra Collaboration has a good web interface.

When it comes to administration tasks like configuring specific filters or group signatures, I have to dig into the configuration since there's nothing in the graphical or web interface. The solution’s forums don't have much information or documentation on administration tasks. Open-Xchange has a much better administration interface.

We use the product for sending and receiving emails and sending and storing files in mobile storage.

They could provide a push email functionality for the enterprise version. We utilize SMTP to send emails to basic users for office usage. They could introduce a similar functionality for mobile usage as well.

They should enhance its online meeting features, particularly in comparison to robust platforms like Microsoft Office 365 Teams.

I use Zimbra Collaboration. I provide support and integrate solutions to Zimbra.

Zimbra Collaboration is a good tool for video calls. It is also a good desktop application and mobile application, while Zimbra's two-factor authentication is not so good. The mobile application of Zimbra has features allowing it to be used in Zimbra Drive while also providing features for video calls.

The Zimbra Collaboration's most valuable feature is web access. 

The tool should improve its multi-cloud feature. 

Zimbra Collaboration is a plain mailing solution across our organization and with our partners.

The most valuable feature of Zimbra Collaboration is email functionality.

We are mostly using Zimbra Collaboration for email purposes. It is also a collaborative tool. We also use it for sharing some documents and for meetings. 

Zimbra Collaboration is light to manage. It works on the Linux operating system, which is far better to manage than Microsoft Windows. Microsoft Exchange works only on the Windows server. We prefer working on the Linux server for security reasons and ease of management.

Zimbra Collaboration also has some integrated tools for security. It some modules to fight malware. These modules are not very powerful but are still doing a great job. Microsoft Exchange doesn't have a basic module. You have to purchase a security solution and add it to the solution. 

The cost of Zimbra Collaboration is one more reason for liking it. It is also very simple to migrate from Zimbra Collaboration to another email solution.
