Enhanced service desk workflow which streamlines operations and offers strong integration capabilities

Helped us tremendously in collaborating with each other and getting our work done and offers the breakout rooms feature.
We are a team located across various locations. Not in the same geographic location. We are distributed. And it's not possible to physically travel and meet people. Sometimes it's simply not possible. But Zoom has helped us tremendously in collaborating with each other and getting our work done. Without Zoom, it would have been very, very difficult. The breakout rooms feature is also helpful. For example, I have a meeting attended by hundreds of people and want to create subgroups. I typically use it for different role-play scenarios during training if we are trying to conduct some training on presentation skills. So there's a large group, which is initially trained by an instructor. Then you get instructions that the room will be split into smaller breakout rooms. I'll give you a topic, and you'll practice in these smaller groups. That's one way I use it. So it's like a simulation of a real brainstorming session I'd have in a physical space.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Mobility features and remote extensions work well."
"3CX is easy to use. It's pretty a much regular PBX system. It is quite easy to configure aspects of it, and it has a good soft client."
"3CX is useful and easy to use. I can talk to my colleagues from anywhere."
"The dashboards and interface of the solution are very good, they have covered most of the main features needed for our needs."
"The most valuable features of 3CX include meetings, IVR, and the workflow personalization of the service desk activity."
"Easy management console access through web browsers with a good interface to Outlook and multiple CRM systems."
"The call queue and reporting systems are robust compared to what you have to pay to get the same level of functionality with a competing system."
"3CX is a reliable solution."
"It functions well. I have had no issues with attaching files to chats."
"Zoom is an excellent tool for networking where a number of people can join, each speaking to one another, and appearing on screen."
"There is no installation, you can give someone a link to the chat and they can access the chat through the link."
"I like Zoom because of the quality of the image and the resolution. Of course, I know that depends on the hardware you're using. But, still, the image and sound quality are excellent."
"Zoom is incredibly easy to install. You can download it immediately on a mobile phone or go to the website. You don't need a lot of IT skills to get it running."
"Important features include whiteboard control, the ability to set up lobbies, and managing how attendees join the meeting."
"Zoom's content shareability and chat support are the most valuable features."
"The most valuable features of Zoom are the very stable video and audio, the quality of the voice is good, and it is very easy to connect to the sessions. This is also the reason why we use Zoom."

Cons

"It could be better in terms of providing more options for call recording."
"The solution could improve the web meeting feature. There is a lot of competition from all the other applications that are out there, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. I find I do not use it that much. I do not know how much effort they are putting into the web meeting part of the program but it could improve."
"3CX Live Chat could improve by having better integration with other solutions because we had multiple calls in which information was not extracted correctly. We had to modify their names, and some other data needed to be sorted out for a better understanding of the calls."
"The analytics need to have a granular depth on how the customer details and the data sends information through this medium."
"Some customers want to integrate a CRM solution with 3CX, but it's not compatible."
"The solution was simple to install, but the configuration was not as simple. The full installation process took a few days."
"Message management in 3CX Live Chat is a little tricky. You can transfer a conversation to someone else if it comes into a group, but it isn't always easy to return the conversation to the group."
"In 3CX, customization is not as easy as I would like. With 3CX Call Flow Designer, you can set up the flow of a call, deliver it to the department, and automate the process. I can't do many things with this."
"When you are connected to one device and you're going to log into another one, Zoom should ask you to transfer without having to disconnect you."
"They should consider increasing the time limits for free users."
"The platform's feature for screen sharing needs improvement."
"We use screen sharing, but sometimes it can be awkward because you might accidentally share the wrong screen, including personal ones. ......Similar to the integration between Google Calendar and Google Meet, having everything in one environment would be much more convenient for scheduling meetings."
"The price must be improved."
"I would say that Zoom should support more platforms. I think it has some limitations. It should be supported on all platforms."
"Zoom needs to address the privacy issues I've heard about."
"The security of the solution could improve."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have purchased an annual license to use 3CX Live Chat. There are different options available, you can pay monthly or yearly. I am completely satisfied with the pricing of 3CX Live Chat, it is cheaper than competitors and it is a better solution."
"There is no add-on costing on the standard fees."
"The price of the solution is reasonable. There are a few license options and we are using an enterprise license."
"3CX sells an annual subscription, but we usually split it out monthly for clients, so they don't see an annual bill for the 3CX licensing, it's just part of their monthly phone bill. As they're paying us for carrier service anyway, we just roll it all together. Your standard phone service would be an additional cost, you either need to maintain a local carrier with POTS lines or PRI or a SIP, or you have to go with a cloud-based SIP."
"There aren't any additional costs. With the license I purchased, I have all features that I need. I don't have to buy an add-on or another license."
"Switching from POTS or PRI to SIP Trunk save the customer real costs. ROI is seen in less than a year."
"The price of the solution is in the middle range compared to other solutions. There are different license options available. For example, there is a professional version and an enterprise version, and with the enterprise version, you have the ability to modify the dashboards. You can purchase a license at many different time frame increments, such as monthly, yearly, or two years."
"The price of the solution has been reasonable. We have not had any problems or complaints with the licensing model. We have not reached a point where we need to upgrade. We have all the correct channels."
"There is a licensing fee and although the price is fair, it can be a little cheaper."
"We have subscribed to a package for Zoom and it is a monthly payment."
"The tool's paid version is not that expensive. You need to pay 150 USD per year."
"I use Zoom's free version."
"A licensing fee is required."
"We do not incur any licensing costs, as we use the free version."
"I am using the free version."
"I use the tool's free version."
