Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Easy to set up with good behavior-based analysis but needs a single-click recovery option
Most organizations are currently looking for a scheduled scan to meet their compliance needs. Other players like Symantec and Trend Micro, FireEye, et cetera, are still providing the signature-based regular scheduled scans also, which is not available in CrowdStrike. That is one parameter that we feel should be there in CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike is only working on the dynamic or the files under execution. CrowdStrike is not scanning the static files. The product could be more accurate in terms of performance. We'd like to have a single-click recovery option. With some machines getting corrupted by malware, we need an easy way to start with a blank slate if things happen. That one feature should be there in the EDR.

Pros

"It is very easy to configure and deploy."
"It is perfectly stable. We haven't received any complaints from customers regarding stability or performance. It's been smooth sailing so far."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security has a lot of telemetry that allows me to really see what's going on with the device."
"The domain integrator functionality is particularly noteworthy, allowing me to leverage my existing network infrastructure."
"Protection is the most valuable feature."
"The product offers an opportunity to monitor the things happening in our network. It also has a comprehensive dashboard."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"In terms of threat detection, I would give it a ten out of ten since Bitdefender manages to catch threats that other products miss."
"CrowdStrike is a great solution."
"It helps us to identify the threats according to the behavior of any process that is running on any particular system. It helps immensely to identify any malicious behavior on any endpoints."
"At this point what is most valuable is the interface, which is easy to navigate."
"The solution offers great stability."
"Everything is automatic. I install the sensor and renew the service. Periodically, I get a notice that they've shut something down."
"The most valuable feature is the machine learning that they use to check certain patterns in the endpoint devices. It checks the whole ecosystem or entire environment."
"CrowdStrike Falcon has done an excellent job at detecting breaches. It has allowed us to stay in business and keep our systems up."
"Among CrowdStrike Falcon's most valuable capabilities are its UEBA and SOAR functionalities, along with its seamless integration with any other SIEM solution."

Cons

"The initial setup should be made easier."
"The dashboard can be improved."
"The price of the bandwidth here is very expensive compared to European countries."
"I like the Application Control feature, but it's a bit tricky. Managing it can be a bit cumbersome sometimes."
"Machines with low memory and CPU may experience slow performance."
"The price has increased marginally recently and I would prefer if they didn't raise rates."
"Overall, Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is quite good. It always has new features which customers can use for free, so I can't say that something is missing in the solution, though one area for improvement is that the cloud version of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security still can't connect to a central SIEM. The on-premises version has that capability, but the cloud version doesn't."
"At this point in time, the download footprint is a bit big."
"They should provide us with good visibility for everything."
"They don't really have anything when it comes to scanning attachments."
"The solution could improve the policies themselves."
"This solution could be improved with greater scope for admins to make changes to the solution."
"The skillsets needed to run CrowdStrike Falcon are extensive if you want to get the most value out of the tool."
"They respond quickly on the weekdays, but the weekend response times are slower."
"We can't do scanning audits or device blocking or application control."
"Enhancements in reporting and forensic analysis could benefit the product."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"The general basic price is roughly $1.20 for a license with Bitdefender."
"The license is yearly."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"The tool's pricing structure is good. We use an annual subscription."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"The licensing costs can vary."
"Purchasing the product through the AWS Marketplace is just a click away. Since we were using the on-premise version of the product, we continued on the cloud by purchasing it through the AWS Marketplace."
"There are three to four licensing models available to choose from for CrowdStrike Falcon. The price of CrowdStrike Falcon depends on the distributor and the reseller partner. The price we received was good."
"The price is high in comparison to similar brands."
"As I'm part of the technical team, not the budgeting team, I don't have information on CrowdStrike Falcon pricing."
"The pricing is definitely high but you get what you pay for, and it's not so high that it prices itself out of the market."
"CrowdStrike Falcon is one of the more expensive endpoint solutions on the market."
"The pricing and licensing are reasonable. I don't think we are getting charged more than what it is worth. It is fair, but I do not like how it is a la carte. I realize they do that so other organizations can buy and get the agent, getting it cheaper than you could otherwise. However, if you want the main core package, which has all the main features with the exception of maybe the multi-cloud protections, that can get pricier for an organization. So, you have to pick and choose what you want. I do not care for a la carte pricing."
"I am not aware of the price, but I believe that it is among the most expensive XDRs out there. Of course, this is dependent on the features you choose. Depending on the features, the price might increase."
