Helps users keep track of everything from one place
The most valuable features of the solution stem from the fact that we can track all of it in one place across all those different locations. Because it's cloud-based and reports up to the cloud, we also have access to the back end, and an incident response team monitors all incidents. We also have an escalation process in place. From my perspective, there are other pieces of CrowdStrike that the security architect team uses as well, but I don't get involved with those as much. I usually just wait for the end results or the notification if I need to get involved if there is an incident.

A financial planning solution for healthcare that allows you to analyze information for future budgets
It's good because of the benefit it gives in relation to the cost. Other solutions are very expensive to deliver. The solution is a financial planning solution for healthcare, so it helps predict the budget for the next year. A lot of hospitals in Brazil are using Excel and manually calculating these things, so it provides a lot of benefit to clients. This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail. It gives you a good picture of the situation and helps you make a business decision. If the customer has any problems before, during, or after implementation, Ernst & Young help to solve the problem.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It has good visibility, works well, and it is fast."
"It is working well. I tried a ransomware attack myself, and they were very fast in mitigating. I am very convinced of this product, and I am very satisfied with how it is working. The team behind the program itself is very valuable. If you don't have your own security team, they can do a great job for you. If your IT team isn't in the company, this can be of great value to you. Its documentation is very good. They have many different dashboards, and they do have a lot of information. Sometimes, it can be a bit overwhelming how much information is there, but once you find your way through with them, everything is very logical."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the real-time visibility into what is happening in your endpoint."
"The continuous improvement in detections and response times is valuable. They are more focused on threats that come from the cloud, not only that we see."
"CrowdStrike side, Falcon is the Endpoint Detection, Overwatch is the service that sits behind it. From a human point of view looks at the anomalies that normal AI and machine learning couldn't catch. So it is the combination of the two that really works well."
"The solution is user-friendly."
"The features I have found valuable are artificial intelligence, which protects us against malicious forces of any kind, and device control through the remote execution tool."
"Falcon's threat intel is strong, and the solution allows our customers to automate their site intelligence. We can integrate Falcon X with the other platforms we use, like FireEye, Insight, Cybertech, and Kaspersky."
"This solution is very complete. There are a lot of models for different areas, like oncology, neurology, etc. It shows you the different revenues and profits for each area and allows you to analyze the information in detail."

Cons

"It has a lot of false positives, which can be an issue, but you can verify these false positives."
"An MDM, Mobile Device Manager, should be added in the next release."
"The only aspect where we've offered feedback for potential enhancement is essentially the user experience."
"I prefer to put a pound into the prevention and an ounce into the cure, but CrowdStrike put more focus into the EDR. This works as a business model for them, as they get a lot of customers purchasing their MDR services, usually SMBs lacking the staff to leverage the EDR tool themselves adequately. We have many such customers. I would much rather see more refinement and investment into the prevention side of the equation, though CrowdStrike has a good engine. The solution is as effective as SentinelOne and Windows Defender for Endpoint; it's an excellent endpoint protection solution."
"Falcon Complete's user interface isn't very user-friendly, especially for writing rules."
"Their endpoint solution is excellent. But I would like to see them improve their HDR, as well as their DLP (Data Loss Prevention)."
"Crowdstrike could be cheaper. It's pricier than Carbon Black."
"Like any other solution, a lower price would make CrowdStrike Falcon Complete more appealing."
"The big challenge is when a company doesn't use SAP as ERP. If the company uses other kinds of systems to manage their information, it's a challenge because this product is integrated with SAP."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is expensive."
"CrowdStrike Falcon Complete is one of the more expensive security protection solutions."
"There is a license needed to use the solution. The price of the solution is fair."
"This product is one of the more expensive ones on the market."
"The licensing cost for this solution is $5000 per license, with each machine requiring its own license."
"There is a license for this solution and everything is included. However, The price of the could be lower."
"CrowdStrike offers training at an additional cost, so many organizations wouldn't want that route."
"We pay $50,000 for the 200 endpoints we have."
"The cost is good in relation to the benefit."
