Work from anywhere and backup easily while being practical
I recommend Dropbox, yet not for all of the features it has. I am a basic user. In a personal mode, we have about 100 employees, and maybe 20 of them use Dropbox as a personal backup system. ShareFile is more secure than Dropbox. Five years ago, ShareFile was qualified as having better security control, access privilege management, and version control recovery, among many features that we were using for private documentation. Overall, I would rate Dropbox an eight out of ten.

Subscription model ensures continuous updates and connectivity across devices
The subscription model of Microsoft 365 Business is beneficial since it provides continuous updates, including functional updates and transformations of the product. This contrasts with older perpetual licenses that rarely received updates. The overall suite is very complete, and being tied to a vendor that improves week by week is of great value. Implemented features like sharing calendars and access to emails on multiple devices enhance basic functionalities that were previously lacking.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution is very fast and simple. If I want to share a file I can put it on the cloud or on-premise. It's user-friendly."
"It offers convenience. It can connect with all devices that you own."
"It is very practical and so easy to upload and download files and carry on without my computer."
"The solution is easy to use."
"What I like most about Dropbox is that it's very, very easy to use. It's also easy to share files through it."
"The solution is easy to use."
"Dropbox's most valuable features are ease of use and performance."
"Dropbox is easy to use."
"Microsoft 365 Business is available as a SaaS product."
"The initial setup is extremely straightforward."
"The initial setup is very straightforward."
"The platform is well-integrated with all Microsoft products."
"Sharing screens, even on mobile devices, is great."
"The current product they provide has been very satisfying. The email service has been operating perfectly. Dynamics CRM is the best and competes well with the non-CRM products in the market, such as Salesforce."
"The product's initial setup phase was straightforward."
"I have been using Microsoft Office for a long time since I was young. This solution is very similar and is easy to use, and the interface is adequate."

Cons

"I find it a little hard to organize my Dropbox folders on my mobile device."
"Dropbox could probably be improved around the integrated security, but those options are probably available. I don't have much of a view on improvements, based on the relatively few occasions that I use it."
"It is difficult to set up. I'd rate the solution maybe a six or seven out of ten."
"I see that if you use a mobile device that does not allow you to properly configure the email part with Dropbox, then you cannot access it."
"There could be better integration with other solutions, such as Microsoft Office 365 for more collaboration. At the present time, it is more focused on its own internal systems."
"The solution could be a bit less expensive."
"Dropbox could improve by increasing its storage."
"Dropbox, like many file sharing tools, needs to synch to a local hard drive. That is a bit difficult with 5TB Dropbox content."
"It would be better if they seamlessly integrated with Macs. Because I have two laptops, and whenever I open one file in Windows laptop, and then I open the same file in my Macbook, the user interface is not consistent. Certain functions can run on Windows, but another function cannot, but it runs on the Mac."
"I'd like to see a more customizable interface. We're used to seeing Office 365 with a white background and black foreground, and I'm aware that you can customize 365 to change it to a black background. but I want more options aside from the standard settings."
"The initial setup is slightly complex."
"Microsoft Teams for Mac isn't good enough just yet. It's an aspect of the solution they can still work on."
"They should improve the screen sharing feature in Microsoft Teams."
"The solution's ability to scale could be improved."
"There could be more integration with different platforms for the product."
"The pricing may be a bit high."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I don't pay any licensing costs."
"We must pay when we upsize to a larger space."
"The solution is paid for annually."
"We pay for the license yearly."
"Its price is quite cheap. It is quite competitive. You just need to pay for the license. There are no additional costs."
"One area that has been a big issue for me is when I tried to close my accounts, it is difficult. We had small personal accounts, and we then wanted to consolidate everything to the business account, but then to cancel and close those smaller accounts, it's a big issue. I still haven't done it and it's quite a long process."
"I believe I pay around $5 per month for the license."
"The amount of free space they provide is sufficient for me. However, if you want more space I don't believe is very expensive."
"The licensing costs are not expensive."
"The product’s price could be improved. There are additional costs involved apart from standard licenses."
"We have an enterprise license, and we get some price off for that. Its price could be better for companies that are not using it massively."
"The licensing fee is paid yearly."
"I have one of the business licenses, and then I have a few of the lower-cost ones at six bucks a month. We're a small organization of half a dozen people."
"There is a licensing cost, but considering the features that it's equipped with, it's not that expensive."
"We have an enterprise license."
"The price could be cheaper. We have a yearly license."
