ESET Endpoint Protection Platform Reviews

I use ESET Endpoint Antivirus for protection against threats.

I'm using ESET Endpoint Antivirus on my own laptop, and whenever I buy a new computer, then, I download the software from the internet on ESET's website.

I have found ESET Endpoint Antivirus is light on system resources compared with other antivirus solutions that tend to be very heavy on the computers system resources. Additionally, the solution is very secure.

The solution could have a more user-friendly interface.

I have been using ESET Endpoint Antivirus for a long time.

ESET Endpoint Antivirus is stable. 

I would rate ESET Endpoint Antivirus a nine out of ten for stability.

The scalability of the solution is good.

I have not needed to contact technical support.

I was previously using Norton Antivirus.

The setup is simple.

I did the implementation of the solution myself.

There is a license needed to use this solution and there is an annual subscription. The price is inexpensive.

I recommend this solution to others.

We use this solution for endpoint security.

I find the main valuable feature to be the antivirus, it is very effective with removing viruses. I also like the fact that it gives you protection when you do the banking and the scanning of emails in and out. The interface is well designed, performance is smooth, easy to configure, and overall really nice to work with. At this stage of our evaluation, it is a comprehensive solution.

The adware module could be improved.

The solution is scalable, we have eight devices using the solution in my organization. Most of our clients are small to medium-sized businesses.

I have not used the support many times, but in the past when I have dealt with them, the support was very good.

The initial setup is straightforward.

The price of the solution is reasonable compared to the other products out there. It is definitely in line with the competition.

We currently use SentinelOne, and we are evaluating this solution.

I would advise those looking to implement this solution to work through it with their partners because the partners do the training. This would be the easiest.

Very good, very prompt responses. So far, frankly speaking, we have had more technical issues on our side than on the ESET side.

ESET is a top Slovak company, renowned in the industry as is their solution. Previously I tried AVG and McAfee solutions, but did not feel my device was really secure.

Pricing per month, for security services as apps in CEE pricing: up to €2 monthly is OK.

With pricing around €5 per month you have to provide really strong value as it is already at the level of one quarter of a telco bill.

Not really. By the time we started cooperation with ESET, their competitors didn’t even have local support in Slovakia.

We have cooperated with ESET for many years. We resell their products with orange branded versions that help us to create revenue of more than €3 million yearly.

We use this solution for the endpoint protection of our clients. It is deployed across multiple locations including our headquarters, construction yard, and airport operation centers.

We do not have a domain structure yet but we can manage our client stations via this solution's managing interface. This means that we don't need to have any extra management platforms.

The fact that this solution runs in the background without consuming system resources has been the most useful. 

It would be great to have VIP functions added to the solution in a future release. 

I have used this solution for seven months.

We looked into using Trend Micro but the service was terrible.

We have also worked with Symantec when it has been installed with certain clients. This is also a good solution but does consume additional resources in the background.

I have found the ESET Management Console very good. It gives me many features, such as managing users and installing a new version.

We have experienced some problems with the actualization of some endpoints. We then have to manually reinstall the version on these endpoints.

We previously use Symantec products and we switched to ESET Endpoint Security because it was less expensive.

The price of ESET Endpoint Security is in the middle range of price compared to other solutions. For example, BitDefender can be more expensive.

I rate ESET Endpoint Security an eight out of ten.

We use ESET to protect our company from evolving threats. We also use it to monitor activity in the network, have a hardware and software inventory, and automate some tasks such as running commands through a console and things like that.

The software and hardware inventory that you can create by using the console is valuable. It is also very light on hardware resources.

They can improve ransomware protection, and there should be cloud sandboxing for Mac.

I have been using this solution for many years.

It is stable on Windows and Mac.

It is easily scalable.

Their support is great and excellent.

It is easy to set up the solution. The duration depends on the number of endpoints and servers that you have. If you have many computers and you're using Active Directory, it generally takes less than a week.

To set it up, choose a cloud. That's because it is easier to implement than on-premise, and you can use GPO to deploy the probe using Active Directory. 

By using the console, you can uninstall antivirus from other companies, and you can also set up some alerts. If there is anything you need to look at, such as malware detection, you can schedule alerts via email.

I would rate ESET Endpoint Security a 10 out of 10.

We are a start-up company, and we sell solutions from ESET, Trend Micro, McAfee, and Panda. We are doing both on-premises and cloud deployments of ESET Endpoint Security.

The protection and device control features are the most valuable. I found its user interface and integration pretty good. It is very user friendly as compared to other products.

A few times, we have had problems with downloading an agent. We had to try multiple times and multiple uploads.

I have been using this solution for approximately eight months.

It is stable.

We have a regional support team for ESET. We contact them for support.

The initial setup is straightforward.

We have our own team for deployment and maintenance.

Its price is fair. If we compare it with any other retail product, it is a little harder to compete with.

I would definitely recommend this solution. We have a lot of customers for this solution, and they are really happy with the product. However, a few customers are not confident of this solution when we initially suggest it to them. They are more confident about other solutions.

I would rate ESET Endpoint Security an eight out of ten.

Network security for an organization with around 20 networked computers with all users diving all over the internet for disparate interests. It is easy enough to pick up a bug, and we do not want one.

We have not picked up a bug yet, because we use ESET, which is a tried, proven system. 

We use ESET, which is pretty much perfect for us. It is also absolutely simple and automatic once setup. 

It is absolutely invisible once running. It effectively catches unwanted stuff. It has saved our bacon over many years.

You have to buy it.
