I am a DevOps Engineer and I mostly deal with the Bamboo CI/CD automation part. I facilitate my team by providing the environment to run their tests. 

Generally, I create the pipelines that take the code base from our repository and build the code to create bundles for Android and archives IPA files for iOS. I use Fastlane to upload them to the respective stores automatically.

Bamboo has a vast number of pre-built adapters which can be used as plug and play components. We do not need to invest much in the implementation side as there are a lot of pre-built plugins. It reduces a lot of manual effort compared to Jenkins and other open-source CI tools. I find that Bamboo is a little better in this regard.

I used BambooHR in my previous organizations. We maintained employee profiles and used it for communication, sort of like an alternative for the internet.

We mostly used it through the web application, not the mobile app. The web application was sufficient, even for people who accessed things through their mobile devices.

The ease of use was most valuable. It's very intuitive. There's a certain level of simplicity with the whole package. You don't require a lot of training to start using it. 

The customer service was excellent; you could always jump on a chat with the tech service team and find a solution immediately.

I use this solution for all things HR related. It was the first HRIS system that I implemented for a company of around 300 employees. I was able to consolidate our software systems because BambooHR offers pulse surveys, NPS scores and performance reviews. It also tracks training and acts as an applicant tracking system. 

The HR metrics that this solution provides has been most useful. We also really like the fact that employees have the ability to be self sufficient and manage their own information. They can look up their benefits, update their information and review documents. 

We also use Bamboo to store job descriptions, employee manuals and other pertinent information.

My company uses BambooHR to store employee information, including contact information, schedules, language ability, etc.

In the past, we managed all this information using Excel. Switching to BambooHR made it easier to access the information. It's easier to use and share reports. I can allow people to do their own reports so they don't need to deal with HR. BambooHR puts everything into one place, so I don't have to comb through several Excel files to collect all the information I need to make a report.

We use the solution to register resources, see how the company is organized, and do performance reviews.

I really like the way the product is organized. The hierarchy is very easy to use when we want to find who is reporting to whom. The product is user-friendly. The GUI is really good. I like it a lot.

We use BambooHR for HR purposes. For example, reporting and headcount. We have many divisions in the company, it's easier for us to create the headcounts, and do reporting, announcements, files, and emails that we send on a group level to the employees. sorry, the employees we have access to see. Additionally, it is used for the time off balance and the performance.

In the BambooHR performance management annual evaluations we have some limits to the questions. We can only add four extra questions, and they already have three basic questions, this is not easy for us. We would like to have more flexibility with the questions.

In a future release, the time tracking for the employees could improve. In order to set the time tracking, we need to add the compensation and all the personal information of the employees. If we could use the time tracking without the compensation, that would be great.

Customers use BambooHR for leave management, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee profiles. They also use it for benefits management, application management, and HR reporting. They have also just added limited time tracking and payroll to this solution.

Leave management is the most valuable as they all started with leave management and then progressed to performance management. Of course, employee profiles are central to everything.

It is also very easy to use. Customers get on board with it very quickly. One of the selling points for BambooHR is that they have a very wide partner network. There are lots of other partners that have integrations with BambooHR. They have an open API. This is one of the things that is driving its growth because lots of people and companies are literally just building integrations of BambooHR to ride the wave. If you have an integration with BambooHR, you get sales. People are more likely to choose your product because they've already chosen BambooHR. That's how it is happening.

It is a cloud deployment, so there is only one version. They do the updates every month, and because of this, you are encouraged to send them feedback all the time. You never know. Your feature may be included in the next release.

We use this solution for our end to end HR needs from onboarding and hiring to learning.

The employee orientation and onboarding functionalities has been very useful. Email automation to interviewers and the interviewees and the subsequent parallel scheduling of interviews is very easy using this solution.
