Pre-built adapters simplify CI/CD processes but monitoring improvements are needed
If Bamboo can provide a dashboard with tool health, such as whether the master or instance has the required space, it would be beneficial. Sometimes, when I trigger a build, it ends with no space on the agent machine where the agents are installed. If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me.
Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The tool's most valuable features are the recruitment module, performance module, and document storage."
"It is fantastic, customers love it."
"The time-off tracking tool has made vacation policies simple."
"The HR metrics that this solution provides has been most useful. We also really like the fact that employees have the ability to be self sufficient and manage their own information."
"Customer support has been one of the stand-out aspects of using BambooHR, with answers always within the same day and as helpful and friendly as possible."
"I really value the onboarding and offboarding checklists; this once was a painful paper process that relied on memory or making many calendar reminders for each new starter, and now it’s all automated and automatically assigned to the right people."
"We can easily store all the information about an employee in one place and it is easy to change and update it."
"This is a scalable solution. We have not experienced any issues."
"Information available to employees and ease of processing payroll."
"Self Service has opened up a lot for employees, and there is more visibility to employee data from all levels."
"The solution has improved our organization by helping us cut hours and lessen our labor force. It saved us probably over $100,000 in just the last couple of years."
"Customer service has been good."
"Customer service is fabulous by some levels."
"The fact that I can see the whole HR information in a single point is valuable."
"We have been able to put responsibility out to managers to manage their employee information instead of submitting forms."
"I like UKG's integration."

Cons

"BambooHR could be improved by managing leave in a way that transfers remaining days at the end of the annual year to the following year."
"However, if we compare the accrual balance days from Bamboo versus real days, sometimes we have to reconcile it by manual adjustment."
"I would like to be able to export some documents into PDFs a little easier. Right now, only HR can update the training record and as you scale your company, managing the system can be manual and time consuming."
"There are some areas of reporting that could be improved, as well as features and functions of the ATS/recruitment, as this is a newer function in general."
"As an international company, there are several administrators in different countries making changes to the system and there is no way of knowing who has made a change, which can be frustrating."
"The UI needs improvement because it needs to be more user-friendly."
"The only thing that could have been added is better integration with local payroll systems or a local Canadian payroll module."
"Yes, there have been scalability issues. If anything, this is what we are facing now."
"The feature needs to be able to differentiate weekdays from weekends when calculating the PTO hours when requesting PTO days."
"The solution could improve by simplifying it even more core reports, such as more sample reports, more generic reports that you can edit and improve on yourself."
"Pricing is high for a limited license."
"Customer Service: Average."
"Customer service is OK."
"Customer service is okay. In some areas, they really excel, and in others, they have room for improvement."
"Increase product knowledge in their customer service people. My experience has been when I speak with a support person, I know more than they do."
"We did have deployment issues. We had employees that were not assigned to the correct states and we are still doing W-2 corrections."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It was definitely cheaper than some of the larger systems."
"I rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"Price-wise, the solution is in the middle compared to other tools offering similar functionalities."
"We pay a monthly subscription to use the solution. The subscript model is based on how many employees we have active."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
