Pre-built adapters simplify CI/CD processes but monitoring improvements are needed
If Bamboo can provide a dashboard with tool health, such as whether the master or instance has the required space, it would be beneficial. Sometimes, when I trigger a build, it ends with no space on the agent machine where the agents are installed. If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me.
Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"All of the employee information is centralized in one space and can be accessed whenever we want it."
"Signature templates made it much easier for employees to fill out necessary forms, policies and agreements."
"The time-off tracking tool has made vacation policies simple."
"The solution's technical support is super responsive and helpful. I rate the technical support a ten out of ten."
"It's very user-friendly and easy to train someone new. It was easy to implement and get someone onboarded on the system."
"I would advise others to implement it as it is a very helpful people management tool."
"We used to use spreadsheets for everything from tracking contract end dates to time off, and BambooHR has made everyone's lives easier."
"It is a great HR product for your business."
"We went from tracking our recruiting on an excel spreadsheet to have a well-functioning, process-oriented recruiting program in place!"
"Customer Service: Top notch. Technical Support: Top notch."
"Our account manager is fantastic which makes our experience great."
"I have found the most valuable feature to be business intelligence and Cognos reporting."
"Ultimate is cute and fun."
"The solution's UI is good. Also, it is very easy to use."
"The entire product has been completely wonderful to work with."
"Customer service is excellent."

Cons

"They are deliberately not the most sophisticated version of anything that they do, but it is like 80/20."
"I would like to be able to export some documents into PDFs a little easier. Right now, only HR can update the training record and as you scale your company, managing the system can be manual and time consuming."
"There can be stability issues. It is not a good system for more than 100 employees."
"There are some areas of reporting that could be improved, as well as features and functions of the ATS/recruitment, as this is a newer function in general."
"The system allows to book vacation and sick day at the same time. There should be a warning in case somebody overlooks it."
"In the BambooHR performance management annual evaluations we have some limits to the questions. We can only add four extra questions, and they already have three basic questions, this is not easy for us. We would like to have more flexibility with the questions."
"BambooHR needs to have more flexibility around performance management."
"We have encountered stability issues. The product can be unstable at times."
"Often run into the custom zone for any needed features which could be considered standard."
"The performance module would be ideally updated next since it has not had the full review like the others have."
"When the translation is conducted by non-SME support, much is “lost in translation” and this can be very costly, because it is extremely time-consuming and often results in miscommunication."
"Payment services continues to be our biggest area of concern."
"General cases sometimes languish for weeks without resolution; have had varying levels of success with different technical resources."
"Customer cases when we have problems."
"Benefits, deductions, and payroll set up issues have hampered the success of deployment."
"Implementation was incomplete."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It was definitely cheaper than some of the larger systems."
"I rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"We pay a monthly subscription to use the solution. The subscript model is based on how many employees we have active."
"Price-wise, the solution is in the middle compared to other tools offering similar functionalities."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
