Pre-built adapters simplify CI/CD processes but monitoring improvements are needed
If Bamboo can provide a dashboard with tool health, such as whether the master or instance has the required space, it would be beneficial. Sometimes, when I trigger a build, it ends with no space on the agent machine where the agents are installed. If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me.
Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We use this solution for our end to end HR needs from onboarding and hiring to learning."
"We used to use spreadsheets for everything from tracking contract end dates to time off, and BambooHR has made everyone's lives easier."
"The tool's most valuable features are the recruitment module, performance module, and document storage."
"All of the employee information is centralized in one space and can be accessed whenever we want it."
"The HR metrics that this solution provides has been most useful. We also really like the fact that employees have the ability to be self sufficient and manage their own information."
"This is a scalable solution. We have not experienced any issues."
"BambooHR has streamlined HR for us; we are an SME and growing rapidly, and BambooHR has helped us keep on top of HR, which is essential."
"It made the HR department more flexible; we can track employee records and trace the reports."
"Immediate data and reporting Reliable (based on parameters given)"
"We have been able to eliminate many paper forms and have streamlined some of our processes."
"I really like the robustness of the Payroll Gateway."
"Improvement of processes Reduction in man hours to complete tasks Employee engagement"
"We previously used ADP, and we switched because it is better than their system."
"We have leveraged the Business Intelligence module highly and find it the best reporting solution available."
"The most valuable feature is being able to get time management reports which break out reclassified jobs and departments to separate areas of the company, allowing for better tracking of hours spent in certain jobs and where more hours may be needed."
"Customer service is excellent."

Cons

"The performance could be improved. When you save some documents, it takes longer to store them in BambooHR's systems than it used to. Something needs to be upgraded or fixed in the code. Alow, we provide services to other companies, so Bamboo isn't able to help us in many areas because of the way we work."
"Training: To allocate a new training course, you can only add it to a job title, and not to individuals. This is not very useful to us."
"I would like to see BambooHR allow for more than 10 jobs to be posted."
"The performance appraisal system is too static and limited."
"The color palettes could be changed to make the solution a little more attractive and easier to use."
"We had stability issues once or twice. The most significant issue was when there was an outage for a few hours and there was no out-of-hours support available."
"If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me."
"We have had scalability issues. It is not ideal for companies operating in multiple regions."
"Customer service is hit or miss. Some of the growth has caused a decline in the level of customer service that I have previously enjoyed."
"The tax corrections are a bit burdensome; you have to void and reissue payments."
"Post implementation team - Not going well."
"We did encounter scalability issues; some information doesn't transfer to payroll core."
"LMS integration in Career Development needs to improve."
"We have encountered scalability issues. Only 10 clock transactions are allowed to run at once; not the best for installing 300+ global clocks."
"Customer service is 5/10, not the best. It is hit and miss; also have had to change AMs to get better response."
"We encountered deployment issues."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"It was definitely cheaper than some of the larger systems."
"Price-wise, the solution is in the middle compared to other tools offering similar functionalities."
"We pay a monthly subscription to use the solution. The subscript model is based on how many employees we have active."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
