Pre-built adapters simplify CI/CD processes but monitoring improvements are needed
If Bamboo can provide a dashboard with tool health, such as whether the master or instance has the required space, it would be beneficial. Sometimes, when I trigger a build, it ends with no space on the agent machine where the agents are installed. If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me.
Streamlined time tracking boosts operational efficiency across multiple regions
The time tracking feature is the most effective for employee management. UKG is used in Europe, the United States, Australia, and East Asian countries for HR activities like payroll. The application is like an ERP, providing comprehensive features for organizations, simplifying their processes, and reducing the need to use multiple software solutions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature for us is the time off request; it is very practical and useful."
"Bamboo has a vast number of pre-built adapters which can be used as plug and play components."
"I like the fact that the annual days are calculated automatically and that if annual leave is taken in the future, those days are put on hold. You know at every point how many days of annual leave are you left with and how many are on hold."
"I would advise others to implement it as it is a very helpful people management tool."
"I really value the onboarding and offboarding checklists; this once was a painful paper process that relied on memory or making many calendar reminders for each new starter, and now it’s all automated and automatically assigned to the right people."
"The solution's technical support is super responsive and helpful. I rate the technical support a ten out of ten."
"BambooHR has streamlined HR for us; we are an SME and growing rapidly, and BambooHR has helped us keep on top of HR, which is essential."
"It is a great HR product for your business."
"The price for the product is high but it has a lot of functionality."
"UltiPro is far and away the leader in SaaS products, especially when a $1M solution is not appropriate."
"Employees are able to easily enroll in new benefits online without any assistance."
"We have gone form 1200 employees processing paper reviews to having everything being online and at our finger tips."
"The most valuable features are the payroll and the tax payments and processing."
"Ability to have multiple HR processes within a single package."
"Good solution - still working out the kinks but confident we will get where we need to be!"
"Talent Management and Business Intelligence are the most valuable features."

Cons

"I would like to be able to export some documents into PDFs a little easier. Right now, only HR can update the training record and as you scale your company, managing the system can be manual and time consuming."
"The only thing that could have been added is better integration with local payroll systems or a local Canadian payroll module."
"The color palettes could be changed to make the solution a little more attractive and easier to use."
"As an international company, there are several administrators in different countries making changes to the system and there is no way of knowing who has made a change, which can be frustrating."
"We recommend to have your own payroll integration as per GCC norms."
"It would be useful to have the possibility to assign a task to the different users within the software."
"Yes, there have been scalability issues. If anything, this is what we are facing now."
"Days off to be redeemed do not appear when a user cancels the days when people are off."
"Advanced benefits administration should include more-complex benefit setups (ex: items dependent on something else)."
"Change how the drop boxes work so you can do them faster."
"The performance module would be ideally updated next since it has not had the full review like the others have."
"Often run into the custom zone for any needed features which could be considered standard."
"Implementation was incomplete."
"From an implementation standpoint (not at my current organization), taking the time to truly listen and understand unique complexities that might be outside standard capabilities of the system."
"UKG has complex clock-in and clock-out features. It changes things too often, and it feels like the tool is constantly changing things without testing before implementing changes in production. Additionally, it doesn't communicate these changes very well."
"We have encountered deployment issues; communication was very poor."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"We pay a monthly subscription to use the solution. The subscript model is based on how many employees we have active."
"Price-wise, the solution is in the middle compared to other tools offering similar functionalities."
"It was definitely cheaper than some of the larger systems."
"UKG's pricing and licensing model involves ongoing expenses based on the number of employees paid. The initial implementation cost is low when UKG implements it directly. However, when partners handle the implementation, it becomes more expensive since partners don't receive the monthly recurring fees."
"While I am unsure of the licensing cost itself, the total cost of implementation and licensing for a company with over 5000 employees would be around 6,00,000. So, there are additional costs beyond licensing."
"If you're going for the full suite, it can be fairly pricey."
"The platform is not affordable but also not the most expensive."
"I wasn't involved in the pricing part. I'm a user, and I believe it is based on the user count. One thing that is nice about Ultimate is that you can learn how to use the system without additional fees. The learning aspect is the life of a product, and the training was a huge reason why we went with Ultimate. We did have some integration costs. They were a part of the implementation because of the integrations to other systems that we included in our implementation."
"The pricing depends on the number of licenses we buy."
