Pre-built adapters simplify CI/CD processes but monitoring improvements are needed
If Bamboo can provide a dashboard with tool health, such as whether the master or instance has the required space, it would be beneficial. Sometimes, when I trigger a build, it ends with no space on the agent machine where the agents are installed. If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me.

Centralized global HR data has improved expense control and supports secure employee management
The features of SAP HCM are valued by me as it had a clear idea about what was expected from the user point. The person or the application has a lot of features and it had actually all the information needed from our part. That aspect is nice. Apart from that, the T-codes are really helpful to understand which particular option we need when we put the T-code in the search box. The stability and reliability of SAP HCM product are really nice, very helpful, and secured. It has no point of leakage and is mostly reliable, as most companies and organizations prefer SAP over many tools. As for security, it's already secured from the beginning itself, and that is the only reason our organization relies on it. Since it's very useful at a global scale, it is a very useful tool and is very easy to access and handle.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We can easily store all the information about an employee in one place and it is easy to change and update it."
"It's very user-friendly and easy to train someone new. It was easy to implement and get someone onboarded on the system."
"The HR metrics that this solution provides has been most useful. We also really like the fact that employees have the ability to be self sufficient and manage their own information."
"We used to use spreadsheets for everything from tracking contract end dates to time off, and BambooHR has made everyone's lives easier."
"All of the employee information is centralized in one space and can be accessed whenever we want it."
"The tool's most valuable features are the recruitment module, performance module, and document storage."
"I really value the onboarding and offboarding checklists; this once was a painful paper process that relied on memory or making many calendar reminders for each new starter, and now it’s all automated and automatically assigned to the right people."
"We previously used People HR, but it was not user-friendly, very slow, and we had a lot of issues, and BambooHR is a very good program and user-friendly."
"SAP HCM is a solution that I recommend."
"SAP Payroll module is one of the best in the market and is integrated with benefits, time, etc."
"SAP HCM can handle a large number of employees, we can easily process payrolls and check the arrangements, and the client can also check the performance of the employees."
"I like the talent, recruitment, and learning features the most."
"There has been a significant productivity increase in HR due to reduction of manual work and data consistency improvement."
"We've found that the solution has the capability to scale."
"I feel SAP HCM is very competitive and worth the investment given its capability to integrate modules and provide comprehensive value."
"All of the core processes are very valuable aspects of the solution. These include personnel, administration, organizational structure, and payroll."

Cons

"In the BambooHR performance management annual evaluations we have some limits to the questions. We can only add four extra questions, and they already have three basic questions, this is not easy for us."
"As an international company, there are several administrators in different countries making changes to the system and there is no way of knowing who has made a change, which can be frustrating."
"Training: To allocate a new training course, you can only add it to a job title, and not to individuals. This is not very useful to us."
"We recommend to have your own payroll integration as per GCC norms."
"Specifically, I work for 2 managers. In my profile, our administrator wasn’t able to add 2 managers."
"Yes, there have been scalability issues. If anything, this is what we are facing now."
"The UI needs improvement because it needs to be more user-friendly."
"I would like to see some improvements with custom reports and Signature templates."
"I would like it to move more towards a single data space, a single data source. SAP as a platform relies on multiple data sources because traditionally, it's been bolted together by the acquisition of other products rather than a single database. That's why there are lots of points of failure and lots of required points of integration. They need a single integration point."
"The setup process for SAP HCM is a bit complex; it is not simple."
"It would be very helpful for our company if a new version was released with the ability to contain all of the things that we have newly introduced in our company."
"It would be very helpful for our company if a new version was released with the ability to contain all of the things that we have newly introduced in our company."
"There needs to be a renovation of the interface and functionalities of the talent management modules."
"In my experience, SAP HCM and similar products are very good, but the focus now should be on providing features to encourage employee adoption. For example, accessing pay slips is a task that naturally drives adoption. However, AI tools that can prompt employees at the right time through the right application are needed for actions such as conducting surveys or gathering performance feedback."
"SAP HCM could improve by having more resources and making it more user-friendly. It is complex."
"The organizational structure visualization could be improved in future releases. The solution has a very poor interface."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"It was definitely cheaper than some of the larger systems."
"We pay a monthly subscription to use the solution. The subscript model is based on how many employees we have active."
"Price-wise, the solution is in the middle compared to other tools offering similar functionalities."
"We purchase the product's yearly license."
"The product is expensive."
"The pricing is around the middle, at a five out of ten. But it depends on the number of licenses. More licenses mean lower per-user costs. You need to understand how to play the volume game and the growth."
"You pay per license. There not any costs in addition to the standard licensing fees."
"I believe HCM is a little expensive, but I don't know the exact price because I'm involved with the sales team. However, I think the price must be reasonable because many organizations are migrating their current ERPs to SAP. It's excellent software, and the price is competitive."
"The solution is cheap."
"We have an annual license for this solution, and the price depends on the number of users."
"HCM is cheaper than SuccessFactors."
