Pre-built adapters simplify CI/CD processes but monitoring improvements are needed
If Bamboo can provide a dashboard with tool health, such as whether the master or instance has the required space, it would be beneficial. Sometimes, when I trigger a build, it ends with no space on the agent machine where the agents are installed. If Bamboo can create an internal monitoring mechanism and display the tool's health status on the landing page or homepage, it would help end users and DevOps Engineers like me.

Centralized global HR data has improved expense control and supports secure employee management
The features of SAP HCM are valued by me as it had a clear idea about what was expected from the user point. The person or the application has a lot of features and it had actually all the information needed from our part. That aspect is nice. Apart from that, the T-codes are really helpful to understand which particular option we need when we put the T-code in the search box. The stability and reliability of SAP HCM product are really nice, very helpful, and secured. It has no point of leakage and is mostly reliable, as most companies and organizations prefer SAP over many tools. As for security, it's already secured from the beginning itself, and that is the only reason our organization relies on it. Since it's very useful at a global scale, it is a very useful tool and is very easy to access and handle.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The tool's most valuable features are the recruitment module, performance module, and document storage."
"I can easily go to BambooHR to search for any staff member in the company."
"Honestly, all of the features are valuable to me."
"We previously used People HR, but it was not user-friendly, very slow, and we had a lot of issues, and BambooHR is a very good program and user-friendly."
"It's very user-friendly and easy to train someone new. It was easy to implement and get someone onboarded on the system."
"It is VERY user friendly, and we are constantly getting unsolicited positive feedback from employees."
"It provides great applicant tracking and documentation for our needs."
"I would advise others to implement it as it is a very helpful people management tool."
"Technical support is excellent."
"We are satisfied with the reporting by SAP HCM."
"The product overall is very good."
"There has been a significant productivity increase in HR due to reduction of manual work and data consistency improvement."
"It is a pretty stable solution."
"It's very suitable for large, multi-geography companies but also very suitable for medium companies with multi-geography operations."
"The valuable features of SAP HCM include managing employee data from hiring to retirement."
"The localization packages and, of late, the Rapid Deployment Solutions have proved to be immensely time saving and thus have made SAP implementations monetarily viable for the SME sector."

Cons

"BambooHR could be improved by managing leave in a way that transfers remaining days at the end of the annual year to the following year."
"There are some areas of reporting that could be improved, as well as features and functions of the ATS/recruitment, as this is a newer function in general."
"I would like to be able to export some documents into PDFs a little easier. Right now, only HR can update the training record and as you scale your company, managing the system can be manual and time consuming."
"In the BambooHR performance management annual evaluations we have some limits to the questions. We can only add four extra questions, and they already have three basic questions, this is not easy for us. We would like to have more flexibility with the questions."
"There can be stability issues. It is not a good system for more than 100 employees."
"If you are dealing with two or more businesses under one company name, it is not possible to transfer employees between companies if they have a separate bamboo set up."
"We have had scalability issues. It is not ideal for companies operating in multiple regions."
"The UI needs improvement because it needs to be more user-friendly."
"SAP HCM is costly compared to other ERPs like Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle, and I would rate the cost as one out of ten."
"The current platform is quite rigid and not as flexible and end-user friendly as other HR solutions."
"Processing large volumes of data during processes such as payroll is time consuming, which could be an area to work on."
"SAP now does the most innovation for the cloud solution and less innovation for the on-premises client."
"System usability is a challenge. It needs a lot of end user training as it is not intuitive at all."
"The customer support from SAP is reasonable, yet I would rate it five out of ten."
"It was difficult to deploy. There were challenges regarding configurations and implementation. So, we had a lot of issues."
"The Time Management feature is not very user-friendly."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We pay a monthly subscription to use the solution. The subscript model is based on how many employees we have active."
"I rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"It was definitely cheaper than some of the larger systems."
"Price-wise, the solution is in the middle compared to other tools offering similar functionalities."
"The pricing is around the middle, at a five out of ten. But it depends on the number of licenses. More licenses mean lower per-user costs. You need to understand how to play the volume game and the growth."
"The solution is a little expensive and we are charged per user for the license. The solution can be paid monthly or annually."
"Licensing is pretty complex. SAP does not have a straight forward way of licensing, and it differs from client to client."
"The cost depends on the size of the organization. Compared to others, I'd say Oracle is number one, followed by Workday and SAP HCM."
"In my view, this product is a waste of money for SMB because there are much better products available and licensing is an issue."
"Licensing fees are paid yearly."
"The pricing is really high."
"The product is expensive."
