Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Offers excellent endpoint protection and great stability
Technically speaking, the customer support is okay, but the responsiveness needs to be improved. I'm referring to the universal support, as the Israeli staff are excellent and always willing to help. However, opening a case and entering into a back-and-forth with emails takes too much time. It should be working more quickly and smoothly.

Pros

"It is perfectly stable. We haven't received any complaints from customers regarding stability or performance. It's been smooth sailing so far."
"The product is a good standard security tool."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"Security for malware and threats is the most valuable feature."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"The features I found most valuable in Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security include anti-malware, spyware detection, firewall, network detection, and user behavior analytics. The solution also gives you a heads-up about operating system misconfiguration."
"Deep Security provides us with a lot of reassurance about security threats. You don't have to worry about a patch not being there in the software. You're confident that all the patches and vulnerabilities are taken care of."
"The integration options of Trend Micro Deep Security have been particularly valuable."
"The most valuable and advanced feature of the solution is the ability to check vulnerabilities."
"There are a good signature set and a high rate of detection."
"We find that their technical support team is always accessible and willing to assist."
"The most valuable features of the solution are the log inspection and the IPS, which are the most effective compared to other tools."
"DLP, Data Loss Prevention, and the complexity of how we manage the console and how this client, or this tool, will notify us when there is something going wrong within the server and endpoint, is good."
"This product offers good protection against many types of malware."

Cons

"The tool needs to improve patch and vulnerability management."
"The firewall capabilities could benefit from an upgrade since it lacks a high level of granularity and control."
"The price of the bandwidth here is very expensive compared to European countries."
"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"There is room for improvement in CPU utilization."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security could improve the RDP, I have problems sometimes."
"The dashboard can be improved."
"If I had more reporting, the product would be an A plus."
"It would be helpful if they could send emails notifying their users about the recommended upgraded versions to address the newly discovered vulnerabilities."
"The implementation can be inflexible and not easy, as it requires knowledge of things like virtualization and administration on Windows."
"Some of the reporting and integrations could be more robust."
"The problem with this solution is that if you go on large sites you have to have an external database, which would increase the cost."
"The email relays and proxies could be improved."
"I would rate tech support in the range of six to eight out of 10. Time to provide solution could be improved."
"There is room for improvement with Trend Micro Deep Security, as there are instances where installations may need to be redone. There seem to be glitches when working with older Windows servers, such as those from 2003 or 2005, requiring us to uninstall and reinstall the product to resolve the issue."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"The general basic price is roughly $1.20 for a license with Bitdefender."
"The licensing costs can vary."
"Trend Micro Deep Security is average compared to other products on the market; it's neither particularly expensive nor cheap."
"CrowdStrike had an advantage over Trend Micro when it came to pricing. Trend Micro had several modules, so it was a little priced up, but CrowdStrike was not. However, even CrowdStrike has increased their price now, so probably both of them are on par, but the number of modules that Trend Micro has is far more than CrowdStrike. It comes with file integrity monitoring, application control, and web reputation. It has outbound URL protection, and it also has ransomware protection for servers, whereas CrowdStrike Falcon is a straightforward solution."
"Licensing fees are paid yearly."
"We need to make yearly payments for the solution's licensing. There are different pricing models, like subscription-based and perpetual."
"The AWS licensing model is scalable and easy to use, but could do with tiered discounts. I am not sure how well this model will scale when we start to use Auto Scaling with AWS resources."
"We are paying approximately $50,000 each month, it's definitely expensive."
"The tool's pricing is quite high."
"If you need an additional 10 or 20 licenses, you will need to pay additional fees."
