Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Offers excellent endpoint protection and great stability
Technically speaking, the customer support is okay, but the responsiveness needs to be improved. I'm referring to the universal support, as the Israeli staff are excellent and always willing to help. However, opening a case and entering into a back-and-forth with emails takes too much time. It should be working more quickly and smoothly.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The fact that it is almost plug and play means the policies I have to define are not very complicated."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"The most valuable features of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security are remote administration and deployment, comprehensive firewall protection, malware protection, and antivirus."
"We find the protection the solution provides valuable."
"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"Their support is good. They are responsive, which is nice."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is the virtual path function, which is the reason we chose to implement it."
"One of the most valuable features is that it's a firewall-based solution. We just open the required reports to the server—to server communication—and that's how we use Deep Security."
"DLP, Data Loss Prevention, and the complexity of how we manage the console and how this client, or this tool, will notify us when there is something going wrong within the server and endpoint, is good."
"The most valuable features of the solution are the log inspection and the IPS, which are the most effective compared to other tools."
"It has improved functions by bringing us complete security on our clients' virtual environment."
"It can scale well."
"Deep Security's most valuable features are antivirus and host intrusion detection."

Cons

"Sometimes the response from Technical Support takes more time than usual because level three support is not in Brazil."
"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"The solution's stability could be better."
"There is room for improvement in CPU utilization."
"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"At this point in time, the download footprint is a bit big."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"The dashboard can be improved."
"Sometimes the patching is a bit slow."
"Trend Micro is not government certified or federal complaint. If they could become compliant/certified, this would make it easier for us to use it for our government projects."
"The situation with the currency in Turkey makes this solution a little bit on the expensive side, and if it were lowered then it would be more competitive."
"The licensing structure could improve."
"It should have XDR and EDR integration. It would be nice if they can tie it up with an XDR or EDR."
"The initial setup was complex."
"The client can show as offline sometimes, and that becomes a bit difficult for troubleshooting. We end up basically redeploying the client. This is something that could be improved in the future."
"Installation and operations may have issues on some machines owing to their configuration of the network cards as the product is a DPI driver."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"The price is fair."
"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"The pricing is reasonable when I compare it to other security solutions, particularly Kaspersky, it stands out. It offers an excellent solution at a more favorable price point."
"The solution is offered at an average price point"
"We don't pay any licensing fees."
"The AWS licensing model is scalable and easy to use, but could do with tiered discounts. I am not sure how well this model will scale when we start to use Auto Scaling with AWS resources."
"From a pricing perspective, I would say the product is economical...The payments are made on a yearly basis towards the licensing of the solution."
"We do pay-as-you-go pricing, which is good for us. We are working with Trend Micro's sales rep to see if we can have something similar for on-premise."
"Trend Micro Deep Security is quite expensive."
"Some of our customers complain about the cost of this solution."
"There is a license for this solution and there are extra features you can purchase."
