Offers the most simplest and easiest UI to use
I would not like many changes in the tool, but I think the 15 GB space provided by Google Drive Enterprise needs to be increased to around 25 five GB, as it would be really helpful for users. These days, the resolution of pictures and everything else has been increased. If you take a picture from an iPhone, it could easily be of around seven to eight GB. Photos are memories that one would want to keep or store properly. I believe that it is not possible to save a lot of photos in Google Drive Enterprise since it only provides 15 GB to users. The product does not offer a bit more storage space for users, which makes it an area that needs to be considered for improvement.

Flexible plans, stable, and scalable
I used another solution at the same time, which was far worse. The American company I worked for used a similar file-sharing solution called LeapFile, a secure file transfer service. Personally, I found Citrix ShareFile to be much better than LeapFile, which was quite clunky. I later used a solution called Egnyte, which my company used as its main file transfer solution, though I'm not sure if it's still in use. The company moved to Egnyte because it is more of an enterprise-level solution. Egnyte was expensive, but it worked. I believe Citrix ShareFile is aimed at smaller to medium-sized organizations, making it a more appropriate solution than Egnyte due to its pricing.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Low maintenance solution."
"The product helps us to collaborate with team members. You can control the share and access feature. It is also user-friendly. The solution's security features are decent and reliable. Its APIs are good."
"It is a stable solution, and I have never faced any issues with the product...It is a scalable solution since one can get as much as one needs from the product."
"Though I don't see a major difference between Google Drive Enterprise and other competitors, I find that the solution is easy to use. You just need to connect to it and upload files and give access to users who need access to the files. It's very easy to manage files and share files on Google Drive Enterprise, and these are its most valuable features."
"There's no real implementation necessary."
"The solution secures the data well."
"I also use OneDrive, but I prefer Google Drive because it's available on many platforms and devices, so it gives a wide variety for backups, especially on Android systems."
"It is very convenient and easy to access."
"It's user-friendly for end users."
"This provides us with a secure way of sending tax returns without having to use passwords."
"The solution would query the Active Directory, and if new accounts were identified, Citrix ShareFile would add them automatically."
"The Enterprise Dropbox solution is highly integrated with Microsoft's Office 365 and Azure products."
"Easy to manage and fully secure."
"The solution is scalable."
"ShareFile gives you all of the features of cloud providers, but in an on-premises solution."
"Citrix has a very good file auditing features and security features."

Cons

"The solution is relatively new and takes some time to get used to."
"The thing I would change is the pricing. We are a small company, and we have to pay the price for the full Enterprise version because we use some features that are only available on top-tier subscriptions."
"The price could be better. Google should rethink and realign its pricing strategy along with the storage prices because storage prices are going down for on-premise solutions. If they can reduce the cost or increase the storage capacity for that same tier, that would be a great advantage."
"Google should also make it simpler to manage rights and access for different users. I want to share one folder with some people and another with other groups. It's not easy to manage. You have to use Google's web interface to assign rights, but IBM Box lets you permissions directly on the Windows interface."
"In the free version, managing the files and folders and data is a little difficult."
"The desktop app could be improved, especially how it functions in the Windows environment."
"The only thing that's really been annoying is the single file size limit."
"When compared to Commvault or Veeam, I'm not sure what Google Drive has to offer in terms of backing up data on the cloud or in a data center for a large organization."
"Some of our customers are facing issues if they've deployed in hybrid mode."
"My only issue with this solution is the cost, which should be improved."
"They should integrate the solution with more email services."
"There are sometimes scalability issues after updates."
"Everything they have should be integrated into one item."
"The user interface is not very intuitive."
"DLP features are lacking and required because, especially with everyone working from home, security is now paramount when the data is on BYOD devices."
"The configuration on the mobile devices is a little clunky, in terms of setting up the application."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate the price of Google Drive Enterprise a four out of five compared to other competitors."
"Storage is the only product offered and that makes it expensive to use."
"Google is much cheaper than Microsoft."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a nine out of ten."
"The product is free."
"If you need extra storage for the product, then you need to make certain payments towards the product's licensing charges."
"There is a monthly fee that we pay for the use of this solution and the price is fair."
"I use the free version of the product."
"Citrix has a very good file auditing features and security features."
"I give the cost of the solution a five out of five."
"If you are already a Citrix customer, I recommend having the Platinum licensing level, as it provides licensing for a number of various features that all integrate together."
"You have to work hard in order to get the suitable licenses."
