Offers valuable features like synchronization and backup
Some time ago, I faced issues with Google Drive Enterprise, but it is not related to the tool and was more of a problem associated with Android. At the end of the day, I had to contact Google's support team to deal with the issue associated with the capacity offered by the solution. Google's support team held me for free, and they helped me change the location from the US because the mobile app factory showed that the activation work was done in the US. Google's team helped me move the location to Spain. Google's support was fast, knowledgeable, and customer-friendly. I rate the technical support an eight out of ten.

Seamless collaboration with advanced calendaring and real-time document editing
One area of improvement for Google Workspace is the Google Meet functionality. Currently, users cannot upload files directly through Google Meet; instead, they have to share links via Google Drive, which adds unnecessary steps and complexity. This is especially frustrating when dealing with external users who do not have Google IDs. Another area requiring improvement is the chat/messaging feature, which is basic compared to other products like Slack. Having an integrated and efficient messaging system would be beneficial.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Google has a lot of tools. They are really useful and they are really simple to use."
"Record your meeting and simply share with anyone without thinking where to store the file."
"The initial setup of Google Drive Enterprise was simple."
"For any file you want to collaborate on with colleagues or external people, like clients, it can be done in real-time. That's the most interesting feature."
"The integration with Gmail, Calendar, and Google Meet is the most valuable."
"For me, the most valuable feature is basically saving and sharing documents with other people outside, having something to be co-shared. When documents are large in size, it is easier to send them via email."
"The possibility of working together in real-time on the same document is the most useful feature for me."
"For me, the most important feature is the option to save the documents and then access it from anywhere from a mobile or a desktop, or any other device."
"The features we use quite a lot are the mail and Google Drive. We can store documents and share documents between both employees here, locally in Sweden, and we have an office in the US as well. It's a very easy way to share information and documents, and have online meetings and stuff with Google Meet. We use it quite a lot."
"The product is user-friendly and knows how to appeal to a user. Google Docs accepts some of our requirements. Its most valuable feature is performance. The product's integrations are good."
"It's easy to use."
"In terms of email, I could probably do the same things with other programs, however, I find 90% of my usage is Gmail."
"G Suite Enterprise is user-friendly, and the technical toolkits and other information are on the website. Additionally, the technical documents are comprehensive."
"Google Apps for Business and Skype for Business are the perfect solutions for every business thriving online. It is very easy and inexpensive to get work done with these applications online."
"Good search features, reliable storage, and quick thinking."
"The most valuable feature of Google Workspace is the sheets and documents."

Cons

"Google Drive Enterprise could improve the integrations. We do not use the tool very much for our corporate desktops. Additionally, Google collects a lot of personal data from the customers which is not very good and this is one of the reasons we do not use it for our corporation."
"It might be ideal if we could increase storage more easily, however, I don't have much visibility on that and have never had any issues."
"The solution is kind of expensive."
"The free storage amount should improve in Google Drive Enterprise. They only provide a small amount of storage."
"It should have more features similar to Office 365. To improvise more, they should compare their features with Office 365."
"A separate interface to give users a summary of how they've shared items on the drive would be useful. You can end up having a lot of stuff and the sheer amount can end up making users feel a little bit lost in terms of knowing who they've actually shared items with."
"I would like to see the price reduced in the next release."
"The product must be more secure."
"Not all tools are available in the one facility."
"The UI could be simplified and made more user friendly."
"In Google Meet, there is no feature for recording a meeting. It should have a feature for recording."
"In some cases, we are using the Google Meet functions but only when we have external clients. Internally, we are using Slack. Google Meet virtual meeting function is not as advanced as the one in Slack and should improve."
"Google Workspace needs to be more flexible, like Microsoft Excel."
"The performance speed could be improved when the internet connection is slow."
"With the Internet of Things, a platform that integrates well with others would be even better."
"For Google Docs, if you upload a Word document up to Google Docs, it could mess up your formatting quite a bit."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I have evaluated Amazon AWS and IBM solutions. Amazon AWS has competitive prices for cloud storage and backups."
"You need to pay an extra cost to use more space."
"The tool is a bit expensive."
"Google Drive's price is lower than competitors. I have two accounts, including one with Apple that I use to manage some pictures and contact. I use Apple Cloud for only this purpose. I use Google Drive for everything else. Compared to Google, the price of Dropbox is high and the solution isn't good."
"Storage is the only product offered and that makes it expensive to use."
"The program is very affordable."
"You don't need to pay if it is within your storage limits. If you need more, you can have a corporate license. I don't know the pricing, but there is a corporate license. The extra costs would only be if you exceed these free limits."
"The product is available for free, so I don't need to pay for it."
"The pricing of Google Workspace, so far, has been reasonable."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"I rate Google Workspace's pricing five to six out of ten. We do not pay any extra costs."
"Approximately $6 per user, per month."
"Traffic management tools may be required for larger setups and should be included in any pricing calculations."
"Careful consideration should be given to the different licensing options and provisions should be made for additional applications that may be required for your particular business."
"The price of the solution can vary."
"We normally purchase the license on a yearly basis."
