Room For Improvement

Microsoft Dynamics GP needs improvements in consistency, usability, reporting, global adaptability, modern UI, integration, and cloud options.
Odoo needs enhancements in customization, reporting, support, scalability, integrations, costs, mobile apps, and lacks industry-specific features.
It would be convenient to have on-premise applications like SQL Server Management Studio to interact with Snowflake without always needing a web browser.

Setup Cost

Microsoft Dynamics GP pricing varies by business needs and configuration, often incurring high annual fees for licenses and upgrades.
Odoo offers a cost-effective ERP solution for SMBs with flexible subscription pricing, despite initial setup costs, compared to competitors.
This makes it cost-effective, with charges being very negligible per query.

Valuable Features

Microsoft Dynamics GP offers robust reporting, customizable features, and seamless integration, enhancing financial control, user-friendliness, and cost-effectiveness.
Odoo's versatility, extensive module integration, and cost-effective, browser-based access make it ideal for smaller organizations.
Snowflake's ability to handle large queries efficiently is very beneficial, unlike other databases which can take a significant amount of time for similar tasks.

Offers great integration capabilities and allows just the real-time inventory
Dynamics GP improves inventory management by offering real-time inventory tracking, and automated purchase order creation, receiving, and updating inventory levels. It facilitates site-to-site transfers and allocation tracking, enabling efficient stock management across locations. The integration capability of Dynamics GP, combined with Power Platform, has transformed our business processes. We now use PowerApps to enable salesmen to send orders electronically, eliminating the need for order books. Additionally, we developed HR apps to streamline tasks for our staff, leading to automated processes and improved efficiency. Our experience with Dynamics GP reporting and analytics features, particularly Advanced Analysis, has been great. We utilize customized smart lists for purchasing and other functions, allowing for tailored insights over specific periods. Additionally, we have developed custom dashboards for enhanced visibility and support portal integration. I wouldn't recommend Dynamics GP due to its legacy status and impending end of support. However, if integration with the Power Platform is crucial and the company prioritizes modernization, it could still be a viable option. For new companies, I would suggest considering Dynamics 365 Business Central for a more modern solution. Overall, I would rate Dynamics GP as a seven out of ten.

A streamlined and customizable ERP solution with a user-friendly interface, modular flexibility, cost-effective licensing, and a comprehensive suite of integrated business applications
Our country, Pakistan, seems to have limited support compared to other regions. Currently, the regional office is in Dubai, and I believe it would be beneficial to establish a regional office in Pakistan to enhance support and accessibility for users in our country. There is room for improvement in their mobile app. While it is generally user-friendly, it frequently encounters glitches and issues and I suggest that the mobile application be enhanced in future updates to make it more interactive and reliable.
